Lindsay Lohan, Dina Lohan Linked To Attention-Whore Genome Project

As a parent, there are times when you look at your child and wonder “who the hell are you and where did you come from?” Then there are times when not only does an apple not fall far from a tree, but a nut cracks in half and two whackadoodles emerge as though cloned and separated only by years. That is the case of Lindsay and her unbridled whoraciosness of a mother Dina Lohan.
Not only do they look alike, which for Lindsay must be a really disheartening realization, but they behave in exactly the same manner.
Dina, who was slated to do some “work” for Entertainment Tonight, in particular some red-carpet interviews for the screening of Georgia Rules, was not well-received. The film, a chick flick, which stars Felicity Huffman and Jane Fonda, might have come and gone with nary a mention, but because it also stars media-addict Lindsay Lohan has gotten WAY TOO much press, mostly for Lilo’s on set behavior which bordered on extreme narcissism. That didn’t stop Dina from embarrassing herself, especially when she attempted to interview Jane Fonda.
The NY Post recounts:
After Dina’s first question to Fonda fell flat, Dina pressed on and asked, “It’s so hard for young stars today with the paparazzi and press - do you have any advice for my daughter?” Fonda - who the witness said seemed “taken aback and appalled not just by Dina being on the carpet but by the questions” - snapped, “If you screw it up now, you don’t get another chance!” and turned on her heel and walked off. A rep for Fonda said, “We kept all interviews short because the press line was long.”
Zing! Imagine the audacity one has to have to seek advice from strangers about one’s own daughter, when the world knows you are the witch who gave her the poison apple. Now we know where Lindsay get’s the schizo gene from.
Dina’s camera-hogging won’t matter much now that Lindsay’s made headlines again for recent photos and stories of her out of control cocaine binges, and bragging to friends about who she’s slept with. Class-y! Lindsay doesn’t have to worry about mommy-dearest upstaging her — she’s a one-woman media circus.
Truth be told, these two are like a toxic cocktail filled to the brim with overinflated egos, delusions of grandeur, self-destructive impulses and a voracious need to whore themselves to the camera.
Here’s how I picture an intimate mother-daughter moment between Lindsay and Dina: the two of them pouring over magazines counting how many times they were mentioned, photographed and referenced. Then they would take a break to throw back some vodka tonics, whorf some rails of coke, and make a list of all the men they have bedded, plan to bed and the number of STD’s they been treated for. Followed up with a detailed account of abortions, hospital visits for “exhaustion,” and all the other b*tches in Hollywood they hate. Dina would say, “Lindsay, I’m so proud of you. You are a real star,” and Lindsay would reply, “G*d mother, you are such a c*nt.” Which would be followed up by some scratching, hair-pulling and biting.
Like a regular Hollywood Hallmark moment.
