Reality Is Calling, Britney…It Wants You To Come Back.
Brit was dealt a serious wake-up call today, but God knows if she will answer. This was Brit’s itinerary today:
- Went to Carl’s Jr. to get burgers and drinks.
- Went to K-Fed’s for the handover…or, more specifically, handed them to his bodyguard.
- Went to Epitome in Bel Air, a tanning salon.
- Went to the DMV.
- Went to the Peninsula Hotel (see previous post).
- Went to Nobu in Malibu for a meal.
I was starting to worry about Brit. I’m glad to see that she has her priorities straight, because the first thing I would want to do if I lost custody of my children today would be to make sure my tan was major…you know, for those pesky court dates. There might be cameras there, y’all!
Britney went to the DMV today, and it does appear that she at least applied for her California driver’s license. However, it could be a case of too little, too late. She has already lost custody of her sons, allegedly due to drug and alcohol abuse, and photos of her driving the past few days with her sons in the car without a valid license did nothing to convince the judge that Brit was serious.  One biased agency is reporting that she IS now legal….but this is something she should have done this years ago. No amount of spin can hide the fact that Brit has lived in, bought and sold property in, and worked in California for the past several years, so she WAS driving illegally as a resident of the state.
She had certain legal criteria she failed to meet. She did not meet with a drug counselor. She did not submit to drug testing. She did not enroll in parenting classes. She did not sign the judge’s order. She did not have a valid license in the state of California. And now she does not have her sons.
I am worried about Britney. I believe that her life is spiralling out of control. I believe that if she does not get intense help, and soon, from a place that is serious about helping her overcome both her personal demons and her drug/alcohol addictions, we will have another Anna Nicole Smith on our hands. I don’t know if it was that Brit just did not understand what it took to be a parent, if the drugs and alcohol impaired her thinking so that she could not be a parent, a combination of the two, or something else entirely, but her life is in shambles. I believe she could be a suicide risk, even if it is a slow suicide via party. This is something that has spiralled entirely out of her control, and I do not think she can handle it. And there is no way that anyone can kick drug and alcohol addiction on their own. Where is her family? Where are her so-called “friends”?
I am not a Britney fan, but I am a fan of children. For their sake, somebody please stage an intervention and get her help, before it is too late.
Update:  If Britney has indeed checked herself into the Peninsula Hotel, as is being reported (and buying drugs as well), I have a bad feeling about it. This could be an emergency situation. I sincerely hope that I am just paranoid and that it comes out later that she was just having her carpets cleaned or something.

We are talking about someone who has (according to many reports) been given everything she wants and has never been told “no.”
Even if drugs/alcohol/mental illness played a role in her blatant disregard for the court’s orders, it’s obvious that she has no idea what being an “adult” is all about. She’s a person for whom limits were never set, she has no idea what boundaries are, and has been coddled, pampered and spoiled all her life by supposed adults who most likely only saw her as a meal ticket. Gotta keep that gravy train runnin’ y’all.
She got rid of all the “hangers-on,” but has shown (thanks to the ever-present paparazzi) that she’s not capable of good judgement or making a rational decision on her own.
Interventions, rehab and doctors may be able to cure the physical ills, but there’s no rehab for childish, immature, and selfish behavior. She’s a 9 year-old in woman’s clothing.

just posted on That Other Blog: This is absolutely unbelievable, although, very little shocks me these days.
Earlier tonight, Britney Spears arrived to the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. While there, she sent her driver to Culver City to pick up some illegal goodies for her. Meanwhile, at 9:30pm the X17 gang breaks into the hotel and beats up a security guard with there cameras. Shortly after, Beverly Hills police arrives on the scene and arrests the ENTIRE X17 videographer/photographer crew that was there at that time.
Don’t believe me? Bet your bottom dollar that TMZ will have this all up in the morning, they were the only cameras that filmed the arrest.
Another set of X17 paparazzi, however, followed the driver to Culver City in case Britney was in the car. Much to their dismay, she was not inside the vehicle but they were able to follow Britney’s driver into a dark alley where some shady exchange that contained a small bag, rumored by inside sources to be either cocaine or crystal meth, definitely happened. After that, the driver returned to the Peninsula.
While all of this is going on, Britney is couped up inside a room she checked into at the Peninsula. Kevin Federline was rumored to be inside the hotel with her, but that turned out to be false.
Witnesses inside are allegedly 95% sure she is using crystal meth on the premises. If so, this could get really dirty and messy.

All these pics of her smiling and behaving in a carefree manner truly disgust me. If that was me, and I lost my kids, I would be beside myself, distraught and brainstorming on how to get them back.
I think Britney is delusional and incapable of realizing what’s she’s thrown away. This is not going to end well. Thank goodness the judge took those two little boys away. Everytime I look in their little eyes, I want to cry. They seem truly traumatized.

meh. leave her alone for awhile. we all know she is a useless mother with no talents. why don’t you pick on courtne love. she had her baby daddy killed! so who is worse?
