Kate Moss Sending “Message” To Pete Doherty

Well, that certainly didn’t take long.
Apparently Kate Moss and new boyfriend Jamie Hince have had a falling-out over the weekend, and it’s all over….wait for it….Kate attempting to contact old flame Pete Doherty while he was in rehab:
A source close to mother-of-one Kate revealed: “Jamie was livid when he heard about Kate’s calls to Pete, he really likes her and wanted things to work out.
“Things were going well but it is clear that Kate is still head over heels in love with Pete and she simply can’t let him go — even though she knows she probably should.”
In a Sunday newspaper yesterday, 28-year-old Pete’s minder and close pal Johnny “Headlock” Jeannevol revealed how 33-year-old Kate is desperate to win him back, saying: “Kate was ringing him up all of the time concerned for his well-being, then he started quizzing her about the new bloke and she was evasive.”
“She’s obsessed with him - hopefully she will stay away from him this time.”
This after Kate announced her “engagement” to Jamie…which, in Katespeak, means that she likes him enough to have sex with him and to use him to hopefully make Pete jealous. Pete then announced his own engagement to model Irina Lazareanu, who, ironically, is a model Kate helped break into the business.
Kate’s message? While she and Pete were dating, they bought matching cross necklaces as tokens of commitment (to love one another, not any other sort). She wore hers out and about over the weekend, hoping to be photographed by the paps, so that Pete would see it. Apparently this would then be a “message” to Pete that she is wanting him back again.
Um, yeah. I think he can better interpret the message by picking up a copy of the Daily Mail and reading the article.
Just when I thought this could not get any stranger. How junior high this whole thing is. Don’t you love the way some women’s minds work? “I am sorry I broke up with him and took up with this other guy, so I’m going to wear that sweater that I wore when my friend first told me about him and I’m going to wear the same underwear I was wearing when he first felt me up and I’m going to wear the same perfume I wore when I walked past him that first time in the fish market (even though he totally ignored me) and I’m going to wear that same necklace that he has and I’ll go where he might be and that will send him a signal that I still love him with all my heart, or at least until that other guy isn’t mad at me no more.”
Hey, Kate….they have what they call “mobiles” over there in the UK. Pick one up and call him. And just get married already.
