Amy Winehouse Might Leave Husband, Get Manicure, Or Both
Eww! She touches things with those hands! She went to McD’s with those hands! I don’t even want to think about it. Somebody get me a wipe.
Amy was spotted leaving Harvey Nichols department store in London, after doing some private shopping until 2:15 AM. I certainly hope the shop employees got overtime for that!
She has a beautiful voice, but like Brit, she’s in danger of losing it all. Unlike Brit, however, she can actually sing, and that without aid of fancy recording studio equipment. I’ve never quite gotten the winged eyeliner, but it works for her, I think.
In other Amy news, she may finally be ditching her junkie husband, Blake Fielder-Civil. Sources close to the singer say that she’s finally seeing the light:
At her birthday bash this month they made their feelings about Blake clear – and ignored him. And in crisis talks with Amy, he has since had to admit a series of secrets – including that after her August drugs overdose he left her hospital bedside to get another fix. [...]
She’s now confronted him and he admitted that after her overdose, he left her, out of it in her hospital bed, to go and take more drugs.
“Now Amy’s mates think she may have seen light at the end of the tunnel.
“A relationship this intense and explosive just can’t last. This could be the beginning of the end – fingers crossed.â€
I can’t say that I’m a big fan of her music, but she is talented and it’s a shame that she’s throwing it all away on drugs and stinky ballet flats. When she had her overdose earlier this year, I was seriously hoping that it would be the impetus she needed to get herself to rehab and stay there….unfortunately that wasn’t the case. I’m not saying that her husband is the reason she is on drugs…but his presence obviously doesn’t help matters any.
He really seems like a manipulator:

A source told the paper: “Blake laid it on thick just before she went on stage. Her dressing room toilet was covered in sick. I don’t know if that was anything to do with the row or just normal for her.â€
I am hoping that she can get herself straightened out, and I think ditching the loser leech of a husband with the unwieldy name could be a good start. Well, that, and some freshly-scented hand soap.

Those fingers aren’t dirty, they are the burnt fingers of a crack smoker. You can seriously burn your fingers to the nub when smoking crack. It’s purdy sad, eh?
