Nick Hogan Bollea Whatever Does Not Have Polaroid Backing After All
Remember a few days ago when D posted her article about Nick Hogan (or whatever his name is, I don’t really care) blogging on MySpace? Here’s what he had to say at the time:
omggggg its been forever since i blogged…hell i dont even know what blog means but i guess its where you write stuff for people to read
anyways my last one was before i even drove for mopar, if you check my pics youll see that i did end up driving for them for my amateur season and most of my pro rookie season. i recently left the mopar team tho…things didnt work out to well
but!….i picked up a new title sponsor…POLAROID! and started my own team with twin 350z’s pretty cool i know
anyways id like everyone to wish my luck for my 08 season and keep john graziano in your prayers
Not so fast, speedy boy. Polaroid has come out and said that absolutely no way are they sponsoring Nick:
Polaroid is not sponsoring Nick Bollea for the 2008 racing season, according to the company’s vice president of marketing, Cheryl Mau.
Mau sent an e-mail in response to an interview request. Mau declined to comment.
Bollea, son of famed wrestler Hulk Hogan, has Polaroid listed as a sponsor of his race car team, the Polaroid Drift Team, on his Web site, www.hogandrift.com.
According to photos on his website, Polaroid was a sponsor at one time, so they must have pulled sponsorship pretty fast after the accident that put John Graziano in the hospital. My guess is that people were so incensed that Polaroid yanked their money pretty fast.
It also is alleged that at the time of the accident, Nick’s Supra was only insured for racing (on tracks), and he was driving on a license that restricted him to daylight driving only for six months.
I mean, I like auto racing too…I am actually a big fan. But racing belongs on racetracks, not on city streets. Nick is extemely fortunate that the accident wasn’t any worse than it was. It could have hurt innocent bystanders as well.
Oh, here’s one more thing:
Graziano’s lawyer, George Tragos, said Tuesday that the young driver should keep a low profile until the matter is resolved.
The boy (and that’s what he is, a seventeen-year-old boy) needs to sit down and shut up, and not just about Polaroid.

this guy is such an ass on MANY levels. we all need to BOYCOTT ANY COMPANY sponsoring this jackass. for real.

Exactly! I am actually really happy to hear this. It seemed unfathomable that any professional racing team would sponsor this clown. Nick has a lot of growing up to do and his family better start reining him in.
I am sure the fact that he is under 18 will be a HUGE advantage to him in this case. Other than the money it will cost his family, there will likely be no legal ramifications for him almost killing his friend, though he did destroy his life.
I meant to tell k something. I was watching the Hogan Knows Best show, for investigative purposes of course, and I noticed that Linda and Brooke were both driving around without their seatbelts.
What a fine example of a-holeitude.

I too was surprised to see a name like Polaroid, and thought they wouldn’t be getting my business, so I’m not surprised they pulled their sponsorship. The response I had would likely be the predominant response, and would undoubtedly lose them business. And, I know something about racing too, have been to any number of motorsports events, and can tell you there’s an emphasis on safety that young Nick seems to be light years away from “getting.” It just doesn’t look like this young man offers much of anything to like about himself, does it.

p.s.
That picture is just completely disgusting. Every time I see it I’m indescribably repulsed. Yuck, triple-yuck!

Isn’t it gross? I looked forever for a picture for this article and finally found it. I saw it and said, “Perfect!”
He does appear to have a good start on his daddy’s hairline, doesn’t he? Now THAT would be poetic justice…hot, young, bald stud with a p*ssy magnet car.

Ew, ew, ewwww!! *does the icky dance*
My p*ssy is magnetically attracted to guys with some class and compassion, call me old-fashioned, but I just can’t get it up for immature, self-centered showoffs.
Comment by Mitsu — October 26, 2007 @ 12:41 pm
Yeah, and he’s seventeen…automatic icky dance!

I’ve known seventeen-year-olds who were 10 times more mature than this little jerk.
It’s completely possible to be a guy who loves fast cars, races fast cars, isn’t necessarily completely mature, and yet has 100% more respect for others and themselves than this guy has demonstrated. I should know, I live with one! ;p
Comment by Mitsu — October 26, 2007 @ 2:28 pm
So do I.
(well, he doesn’t race yet, only on the PS2)

Ah yes, the old Sunday Gran Turismo fest. My guy says you can build real-life racing skills by playing that game, seriously. He swears by it. And he’s a quite good driver, so I think he knows what he’s talking about (okay, so I’m bragging a little bit :p).
Maybe Little Hogie should go back to Gran Turismo, eh?

My Husband and I have been put off by the Hogan Clan ever since we first saw an episode of Hogan Knows Best. Who would have thought, after watching Hogan wrestle all these years, that he is the one with the bulk of common sense in that family. His wife Linda is completely worthless *except for her love of animals*, and his children are white trash monsters. That much was evident just from watching the tv show.
After the accident and their behavior subsequently… and now with Nick’s ‘blog’, it just cements the fact that none of them are worth a damn.
I hope that whatever happens with Graziano’s custody situation (and shame on his parents too… but they are still the victims here…) that Hogan loses everything. I don’t see any other way that ‘The Hulkster’ is going to wake up and realize what a piece of absolute shit his Son is.

The entire Bollea family is trying to downplay what Nick did to John. And even worse, John is being criticized. Now I just wonder where all that started from — the Bollea’s, no doubt! Nick is a spoiled little punk and I hope he never forgets he’s virtually taken the life of a United States Marine.

Hey, Ally boo…YOU stick it sideways. He almost killed a man because he was drinking underage and was out screwing around, showing no regard whatsoever for others on the road.
He’s a spoiled, overprivileged, undereducated brat.

Guys come on calm down. God he cant help he was born into a wealthy family. Hes young and im sure hes not the only 17 year old to crash a car and cause fatalities. If any of you were born into wealth would you not act like this? Honestly. Everybody messes up but of course sad loner people only fuss over the stupid things that celebritys do. I think some of you may even be jelous.
Comment by 212131 — February 11, 2008 @ 5:32 am
Here’s a thought, 212131…grow up. Actions have consequences. And as far as being a “sad loner” or jealous, sorry…not a loner, and I’m glad I grew up poor if growing up wealthy means you turn out to be a selfish brat. I have nothing to be jealous of, unless having morals and understanding the concept of consequences makes me jealous.
This goes far beyond stupid celebrity tricks, and only age and maturity can reveal that to you. Unfortunately, you have to have both in place. Hope for you yet?
