Amy Winehouse Wanders Around Munich In Tears
It would seem that the romance between Amy Winehouse and her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is long gone, if the most recent photos of the singing star are any indication. Amy has been on a tour of Europe, and once Blake joined her for the last leg, things started going steadily downhill. Last week, in Munich, Amy was spotted wandering around Munich, alone, minus beehive and bat-wing eyeliner, looking sad and lost and on the verge of tears:
According to pals, the 24-year-old star is struggling to cope with the increasingly stormy rows with husband Blake. And they warn his controlling behaviour, and unreasonable demands are threatening the couple’s six-month marriage.
A source told Closer magazine: “They are constantly arguing backstage, and whenever he gets bored he demands they leave, no matter what she’s doing.
“At one of her gigs, Blake even insisted they go back to the hotel half an hour before she was due on stage.”
Despite Amy’s teams pleas, the young singer won’t stand up to her husband, who she credits with saving her life, after he got her to hospital following her overdose.
The source added: “Amy’s team has told her they can’t run a tour under these circumstances. But she runs straight to Blake, who goes mental and threatens to fly back to the UK.
“Then she goes back to her team and tells them, she can’t do it without him around.”
Blake joined Amy in Brussels last night for the last leg of her European tour, where she apparently got her blonde streak darkened.
This has all the earmarks of someone who is manipulative and controlling, and when you throw drugs into the mix you’ve got a recipe for disaster. Her career will stall and go nowhere from here if this keeps up, because no producer or promoter will want to work with this sort of thing. And what is she doing wandering around alone…no bodygurd, manager, anyone?
Because of the drug bust in Norway earlier this month, it is rumored that Amy is banned from entering the US to tour. Her father says that Amy signed a form that she thought was a release form, but that was actually a confession. Amy was due to leave for the US next week, and the situation is currently being hashed out (pardon the pun) between Norwegian authorities and the British Consulate. It is claimed that the marijuana belonged to the hairdresser arrested with Amy and Blake, but Amy’s drug problems are well-known, whether the weed was hers or not.
Also, according to her father, Amy was an opponent of hard drugs until she met Blake:
He said: “She was a complete opponent of hard drugs - in fact, she got up and said she couldn’t understand why people in the music industry took hard drugs and that changed about six months ago when she got married to Blake.
“And I’m not saying it’s Blake’s fault, what I’m saying is Amy’s responsible for her own actions.
“However, it’s a fact that the hard drugs coincided with their marriage.” […]
Mr Winehouse said his daughter, who has admitted blacking out during drinking binges, has cut her alcohol consumption in the past year but is still battling bulimia and drug addiction.
“She’s not drinking as heavily as she was then actually, but there are other problems.
“The other problem is the bulimia which is still apparent, although she’s put on about a stone in weight, but it’s still affecting her health. And there are problems with substance abuse as well. But it’s not as bad as has been reported.”
Whether the drug problem started with Blake or whether Amy was struggling with them beforehand, the fact remains that a beautiful young woman is slowly destroying herself with drugs, alcohol, and a manipulative relationship. She has enormous talent, which is being frittered away as she continues this slow slide towards destruction. Blake appears to be a very controlling man, manipulating every part of Amy’s life until she can’t make a move without checking with him first to see if he approves or will get mad…because above all, she wants to avoid his anger. She admits her self-esteem is low, and that sort of mentality is ripe for someone like Blake to move in and begin his machinations. Plus, taking drugs just heightens all of these situations, and not for the better. Taking responsibility for one’s actions is extremely difficult under this drugged-up and beaten-down mentality, because your thinking becomes so muddled that you don’t know what is right or wrong any longer.
Until Amy realizes that she can do this without Blake, or without any man, she will continue this sort of self-destructive behavior over and over again. Getting her out of the relationship with him isn’t the answer…fixing the problem within herself is the answer. However, ending this relationship would be a great start and a first step on the road to recovery, because people like this rarely change their ways. Amy needs to realize that there is help, if she will just seek it. She can’t live her life in fear of what he will do next.
And neither can you.

A correction: Amy’s father did not call for a boycott of her records….that was Blake’s father, her father-in-law. Mitch Winehouse has stated that he thought a boycott was a bad idea.

amy’s a strong person and if she sais she loves blake and that he’s good to her that’s what i choose to believe not what a so called “source” has told the papers, or just some crap some journalist wrote to make money on fake rumours.
i hope everything works out for the best for amy, if anyone at all deserve happiness it’s amy.

just because she’s famous it dosen’t mean she’s suddenly responsible for all the young people in the world, why is it her fault whenever some teenager uses drugs and if you’re a parent and your kid uses drugs than i think you’re just taking the easy way out by saying it’s some singers fault for being famous and using drugs!!
besides amy winehouse sets a great example and she’s a fantastic rollmodel because of her amazing personality…..if i was a parent i would rather have my kids have rollmodels like amy rather than some clueless fake bitch like rihanna, beyonce, whats her face or whoever else!!

Amy is awesome i love her i love her style bless her heart she has so much going for her she needs to realize life is more important than drugs an alcohol, i dont wanna see her die like that. she is too young and talanted. she will forever be in my prayers!!!

i feel so sorry for her but she just is not helping herself she needs to get her act together because she is really a beautiful talented girl. i think shes a boss singer and i love each and every song she has sang.
