I was hit 3 yr. ago by a 17 yr. old boy, who was driving too fast and lost control, I spent 31 days in the hospital, ICU included. I have to live with residual problems from all of the metal in me from the injuries incurred. Yes, accidents do happen, but if they are caused by reckless driving and speeding, add drinking into it, Nick Hogan has to pay the consequences, whatever the law says and take full responsibility for his actions. Which he is not doing, and his parents are shameful to even imply they are saddened at charges against their son, and so glad that he was wearing his seatbelt but his passenger was not, therefore implying that’s why he was so severely injured. I have seen the Hogan’s reality show and what I have witnessed is overindulgence of their two children and trying to BUY both of their children celebrity careers? We have raised two sons, and proud to say they are responsible, mature young men and college educated. We always emphasized the importance of education and responsibility for one’s own actions. Unfortunately, I do not believe Nick will change his ways judging by his parent’s attitude already, the law will have to punish him, his parents won’t, they are just making excuses for him. So Sad!!!!

I don’t hate Terry and Linda.

I hate what they did to their children.

Have you ever read things they’ve said and done? All they can do is make excuses for their precious little son, and try to lay Nick’s share of the blame at John’s feet. Whatever!

Doing the best they can, my butt. A cat is a better mother.

Although I understand everyone’s anger at Nick, I don’t think it is right to bash Linda and Hulk. Every parent does the best they can to raise their children. Rich or poor, your kids grow up and make their own choices. Let’s turn the hate into prayers for a miracle for the poor kid in a coma!

This is not California so I would expect Florida to uphold ALL, if any sentence given in court, to the fullest with out hesitation. Nick, can you say time to visit Bubba.

Nick has moved on people. He is back drift racing, not even sitting out a season to grieve He feels justified because he’s convinced himself that that’s what John would be wanting him to do. He has new sponsors and new cars and he’s left John to wither in a hospital room somewhere. I can guarantee that Nick will see no jail time, or any punishment at all, other than in civil court…and Daddy is ready with wallet open to handle it. You can’t put someone in prison for being stupid and his parents have drilled it into him that it’s not his fault. Only Nick knows at night when he goes to bed, that he’s lied to everyone, and now he’s beginning to believe his own lies. Yeah nick, right, you weren’t racing like I have seen you do so many times before. Hulk’s gonna still be wrestling when he’s 80 to pay off the damage his kid has done….and rightfully so, Hulk was the enabler.

Thank you for writing what I was thinking. I have watched Hulks show a few times and found myself watching because I couldn’t believe how terrible his kids are and his wife seemed to be just as bad. I would hate people writing about my family like this, but hopefully this will wake the entrie family up to how selfish they really are. The poor man in the hospital may not have had a seat belt on but Nick should have made him put one on if he was going to drive reckless, I hope Nick really has to pay for this terrible accident somehow, I hope he lives with it and does not buy it away mentally or physically.
