Hey, #29/30:

Maybe you should read everything I've written about this. I've said that John should never have gotten in the car with Nick. Try reading more than one story.

But Nick should never have been drinking and racing, and then there would have been no choice, would there?

No, I didn't drink when I was underage (I don't drink now either). I was smarter than that. And the few times I did try it, I not only didn't like it, but I was smart enough NOT to drive.

Just because much of the population does it, that makes it right, I guess? It's okay for underage kids to drink because so many do it? They're gonna do it anyway so why bother? That's the mentality that is destroying our young people. Why not encourage them to NOT drink?

I don't care if you call me bitter, straight edge, nerdy, square, or any other name you can think up. At least I've never tried to kill my friends while driving drunk. If that makes me square, then so be it...I'll be so square you can cut glass with the corners.

The author of this article is a VERY bitter person.

90% of the population (excluding the bitter straight edger autor) drank while underage. And a large percentage of those drank and drover underage.

What about the victim? yeah hes a victim, no denying that. but i can guarantee you he was drinking too, and at some point other than that day had also been drunk driving underage. no he didnt hurt anyone but he just as easily could have. people are judged by the company they keep, including the victim, WHY THE FCK did the victim get into a car willingly with someone drinking and driving?

A rush, thats why. racing underage or of age, and with or without drinking is FUN, but very dangerous. flip the script and nicks in the hospital vegetibalized, then what? why didnt this kid stop nick from driving?
Suddenly this kid is partially at fault for not being the party pooper and objecting, or at least refusing to ride with him.

STOP BEING SO ONE SIDED, LOOK AT BOTH SIDES, it was a dumb mistake ANYONE or their kids could have made at the same age, Nick just had the crappy luck of having the worst possible thing happen.

When you say we shouldn't judge the Hogans because we don't know them personally then maybe you should watch their "REALITY" TV show once in a while.
Terry is a joke, Nick is a Smart Ass Punk, Brook is a wanna be pop star, and Linda is a nasty foul mouth piss poor excuse of a woman let alone a mother! sorry Linda, that is how you portray yourself in your REALITY SHOW!!! "Hogan Knows Best" It is like watching Roger Rabbit, these people are more like animated cartoon charcters living in a world of make believe, and I find myself wondering what color the sky is in their world??
The good thing about The Hogans REALITY TV show is that it will make you feel really good about your own life!
If that kind of behavior comes with fame and fortune, then Terry and Linda it's time for a REAL REALITY CHECK before it's really to late for Nick and Brook,if it's not already. You all need to take responsiblity for what has happened here and stop putting the blame on someone who will probably never be able to defend himself again (JOHN).......I can't believe this young man went to war to defend your sorry ass's and gets thrown right under the bus
(unreal)!
HOGANS!Do somthnig John can't do. WAKE THE HELL UP BEFORE IT REALLY IS TO LATE FOR YOUR CHILDREN!
I don't know how Terry can look at that mangeled mess of a wrecked car and have the balls to cry foul, that his poor son was only going 30 to 40 MPH and everyone is picking on him because of who he is?
C'mon, Terry not even you can believe that, that mangled mess of a car didn't get that way because Nick was driving under the speed limit @ 30 to 40mph ...BROTHER

If Nick was drinking and being 17 we know this is WRONG but really his blood level was .02? That could of been a half of a beer maybe. That doesn't mean that Terry bought the beer and gave him any. That could of been Nick acting like a kid and sneaking some.

The facts here are Nick was SPEEDING almost killed John though let me say what kind of life is this for John..
and my heart goes out to him and his family.
Speeding did this.. not the .02 alcohol level that was found in Nicks body. Let's not harp on that shall we.. the facts are 100 mph no seat belt...stupidity rears it's ugly head.. I say put him in jail, take his license away for good.. we will be in a much safer place if they did this to ALL stupid people!
My prayers are with John..

These people choose, CHOOSE, to be in the public eye. They made a CHOICE to open their lives for public consumption. Not only that, but they opened some very bad parenting decisions for public debate when they opened their home to the television cameras.

Thee sad part is that they don't even see that their decisions are bad. They think they are totally normal.

Now...had this happened and Hulk and Linda came out and said, "You know, our son was drinking underage, and he obviously has a problem with speeding, and we want to enroll him in some sort of rehab and get him some help," then I would have been a lot more lenient. But they are making excuses for his behavior. Not only that, but they seem to be causing that very behavior.

And you know what? I'm not stupid or irresponsible enough to (allegedly) buy beer for my son. I'm also not stupid enough to put my kids in the public eye for their every moves to be dissected. If they wanted their kids to be raised in anonymity, they should have not courted the media at every turn.

So spare me the teary platitudes. Cry for John Graziano and his family.

If he would be your son, you wouldn't want the media to be all over what happened.. So just leave them alone, because if that would have a happened to your son, if you have one, you wouldn't want people to be talking about him like that! And please don't judge him because you were not at the scene to be talking about it like that!
Don't take it personal, but I just don't like seeing that they have all this problems, and then there are people talking bad about them.

Hey, #21...perhaps you should check out the articles I linked to. Anything I said that wasn't my opinion I backed up, most of which came straight from a police report.

I put some of my opinion in there, yeah...but if they DO find out that Hulk gave his son alcohol (and if you read the article closely, I said it was alleged, not that it was a fact), he could be looking at some major legal problems. Providing alcohol to a minor is illegal. Fact, not fiction.

Not my fault you couldn't pass the litmus test for reading comprehenson.
