I don't want to be disgusted with Amy, but honestly, blatant and habitual drug use can not continue to be condoned through sympathy. If she wants sympathy, go into rehab, get off the junk and then come back. I will be your champion and your cheerleader, until then, bugger off Amy.

I've always suspected that there exists a plane of rarified celebrity where you could actually start paying people to wipe your nose. What this proves to me is that that plane does in fact exist and, unfortunately, Amy seems to have fallen off of it. She can no longer scrape up enough syncophantic celebre-suck followers to garantee one with a kleenex.

By this time next year, I predict we'll be watching a VH1 "Behind the Music" special on the short, self-destructive life of one Ms. Amy Winehouse.

I GET it -- everyone has their own personal demons to deal with, some deal with them worse than others, and some don't deal with them at all. But unless someone is holding a gun to your head and forcibly sticking that needle in your arm, everything we do is our choice. The majority of us are equipped with the capacity for that brief split-second of inner dialogue whereupon we ask ourselves if what we're about to do is a good idea.

It's called personal responsibility, people, and there comes a time in everyone's life when they've got to own up to the things they've done or pay the price.

In other words, in the end, it's Amy's responsibility to take care of Amy. If she can't (or won't) then sadly, she'll most likely suffer the consequences of her own excess.

I hate to say I agree with you. I love Amy's voice, her music, but...I can't feel sorry for her anymore. Nothin' romantic about it. I just feel like I'm listening to a dead person when I play her CD.

Oh shut up. What is so desperate about Amy Winehouse? She has enough money to buy a huge bag of coke and I should feel sorry for her? F*ck off dumbass. I feel sorry for starving children, homeless people, struggling single parents, abused children and the forgotten and sick elderly, AIDS orphans, so on and so forth.

I DON'T feel sorry for self-indulgent nitwits who waste their talent by wallowing in their own fecal matter.

Please don't come back you moron.

I hit this page by accident on a Google search. Thank God I don't have to come back here... you heartless lowlife.

Perhaps karma will dictate that one day you may be in a corner and desperately in need fo love and help. Here's hoping you don't get it. You are sickening.
