What? Britney Banned From Starbucks?

britstarbucks3.jpg

Call the suicide hotline, she won’t have a reason to live!

Yes, Brit may be banned from any Starbucks in the Valley because of the complete and utter chaos that ensues whenever she gets the urge for a Grande Vanilla Frap (with two extra shots, y’all).  Apparently there have been meetings, and consultations, and the general consensus is that she just needs to stay home.  Or at least away from the ‘bucks.

It’s incredibly selfish of her to continue to go to these places and create this sort of frenzy in public.  Where is her consideration for other shoppers?  Where is her concern for other people who might get caught up in this walking mess?  What a self-centered little brat she is…time to grow up.

You know, I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again:  If going to Starbucks causes this much commotion, and Britney knows this, then why do it?  Why not send someone to get her Frap for her?  Oh wait…because then she can’t get her photo taken by her bestest friends.  But lately the relationship between Brit and her pap buddies has gone a bit sour…listen to her tell them to stay off her “f*cking car” in the video below.  (video possibly NSFW)

  3. I’m sorry…Britney is a human being and people seem to constantly forget this! She has a right to her freedom and should not be practically under house arrest because she gets followed everywhere. The problem is the paparazzi that will not leave her at peace. I have no idea how you can consider it ’selfish’ for someone to visit a coffee house and go about her daily business. She is not a prisoner, a convict or a criminal that should be hidden from the world. And Britney definately should have the right to tell people to get the f*** away from her car…that’s a bloody expensive car and they were practically jumping and bashing all over it just to get a picture- have some respect for others property. My car is onloy worth £5000 but I go nuts if I think someone is going to crash into me or make a bash in it…it’s only human! Leave her alone. She is a person with feelings and the right to her freedom.

  5. Oh my god I’m so angry!!! Do you people think you own her or something that she can’t go certain places just because you say so? You are effectively saying Britney has to stay locked away all by herself and not do anything a normal human being would do because it disturbs other people!!! How ridiculous.

  7. Hilarious. Britney created this monster and is now upset because the monster is turning on her. She called and let the paps know where she’d be so she could get her name in the papers, and now is not happy because every time she goes out she gets mobbed.

You know, #2, it’s people like you who keep her from getting the help she needs.

It’s also people like you who cause problems for the rest of us going about our business. Yes, one should absolutely be considerate of other people when one is out in public. It’s called RESPECT FOR OTHERS. It’s also called COMMON DECENCY. Unfortunately, Brit just has the common part right.

It’s just like when you go to the mall and you’ve got people acting like it’s their personal stage, just to get people to look at them. The world doesn’t revolve around you, or Brit, or anyone else, and it’s time these self-centered celebutards realized that and thought about other people when they take their traveling circus on the road. It’s not only stupid, it’s dangerous for innocent bystanders who just popped out to the local ‘bucks for a Mocha Latte.

  9. I’m not here to have a slagging match with someone so you can stop trying to personally attack me. I am simply trying to express how I feel sorry for her…she would NEVER have wanted all this! And as a huge Britney fan I DO want her to get the help she so obviously needs, but slagging her off isn’t going to do her any good. She needs to be surrounded by the people that love her, not criticise her.

  11. And you know what? “Love” doesn’t mean “coddling” or letting Brit do what she wants. Sometimes, love has to get tough. And she’s surrounded herself with people who let her do as she pleases, instead of getting her the help she so desperately needs. That isn’t help OR love.

IF she’d drop out of sight for a while and get some help for her problems, maybe she could live a more normal life. But living in the fishbowl she chooses to put herself in, she’ll just consistently get worse. If she’d drop off the radar, stop concentrating on her career and partying and such, and get some help, and stay away from the problem areas in her life, maybe her life would settle down and then she could do things like go to Starbucks without the frenzy.

What you see as slagging off on her is just someone trying to instill some common sense into an increasingly crazy situation. Someone does need to get critical of her, hold her to a higher standard than she holds herself, expect more out of her than pantyless escapades and endless partying and a zillion Fraps.

  13. You were getting critical of me by saying ‘people like you’ bla bla bla. I have to say I completely agree with everything you have just said though- she is surrounding herself with ‘yes men’ and she needs to take a rain check and go home to her family (that is what I meant by the people that love her). But I must point out there is a difference between criticism and constructive criticism. And some people seem to revel in the former.

  15. Well, sorry, you’re the one who came on here and asked me if I “owned” Brit, telling me how ridiculous I am, and slagging off on me for my opinions. So don’t get riled up if I give you some of your own back. Who got critical first?

You see, people come on here all the time and make nasty comments about me (or D, the main writer) and our articles, but are pretty surprised when we comment back. I guess people are used to other sites where they can say what they like with no feedback from the author.

What we’re offering here is our opinion. And this IS a celeb site…a certain amount of snark is mandatory. But I’m completely serious when I say Brit needs help, and I do hope she gets it. If I criticize (and there’s a fine line between criticising and constructive criticism, it’s all subjective), it’s out of a desire to point out the idiocy and perhaps force someone’s hand to get her some help. I’ve said that all along.

  17. Britney is not going to get the help she needs until people start having the perspective K has: treat her like a spoiled brat. Maybe she needs a spanking, or to be grounded, or have something taken away. I guess it wasn’t enough to lose primary custody of her kids, she clearly can’t be motivated by what would motivate normal people.

And that is the greatest testament to Britney’s sickness. Losing her kids meant NOTHING to her. Absolutely NOTHING. Gross. Sick. Twisted. Fucked Up Beyond Repaid.

Anything we have to say about her is nothing compared to what any divine spirit must be thinking. Sheesh, she’s getting the bad karma she deserves. Treat your kids like crap and life has a way of paying you back.

  19. Apart from that — if you (or your “hangers-on”) are the ones calling the paps to say “Hey, I’m going to Starbucks” then you have nobody to blame but yourself. If you’re hanging out at the Four Seasons or other hotels because the paps are there, again, you have nobody but yourself to blame.

Funny how the paps didn’t follow her to Las Vegas for the (alleged) lipo, or to Atlanta when Brit “needed a break.” Why? My guess is that she didn’t tell them where she was going to be.

Most of the time the paps follow Britney because they know she’s liable to do something stupid and they want to get it on film/video. Maybe if she was “boring” she wouldn’t have this problem.

  21. Speaking of boring, I often wonder what a conversation with someone as “special” as Britney would be like. Probably like talking to a highly functioning simian, or alien. Or whichever. No offense to aliens or simians.

  25. Whatever.I broke all my Britney Shpears records.

But…I decided to try Starbuck’s coffee espresso beans. To me, it makes no sense that their espresso is so listless. So, I made it at home and it tastes infinitely better than when I buy it there. Which confirms my suspicion that they don’t know how to use those coffee machines properly. My espresso on my machine comes out bolder, creamier and better.

    I’m just saying.

  29. I’m not a fan of hers, but I was curious to watch the video - just to see what exactly the appeal is with her. What I found is that the papz need to get a fucking life! Is it really news worthy to get photos of her doing her “daily” coffee run? I would be ashamed to say that is what I do for a living - chase after britney spears in coffee shops and make her life utterly miserable. How pathetic are these photo hounds. She’s not innocent in alot of this drama but she is human AND does deserve her freedom to go where she wants to. It’s so apparent that the media is the one with the problem NOT her. She has personal problems but they have ethical and moral issues. They didn’t even listen to the employees of starbucks to get out with the camera’s - they have NO boundries. If she were begging for the attention, one would think she’d atleast do her hair. I found her to be very polite in starbucks - it wasn’t until they went near her car that she told them off. She has adapted very well to the constant intrusion in her personal life - if it was me I would’ve told those photog’s off in an instant. I would demean them, verbally attack them and do whatever necessary to make them feel as uncomfortable as they do other people.
