I'm no Dr. Phil, but my dime-store psychoanalysis says that:
a) she's addicted to the spotlight, she needs to be the center of attention, which is why the paps know ahead of time every move she makes and why 30 of them follow her into the Rite-Aid at 2 in the morning, or driving down Mullholland or to a gas station bathroom.

b) she's hyperactive/ADD/whatever (remember that photo of the ADD pills placed conspicuously in the purse?), so she's probably got to be moving ALL the time, got to be doing something, going somewhere, she probably needs/craves activity + see "a" above.

c) I'm also guessing that like #2 above said, her house is probably pretty big, maybe too big, no matter how many employees are there with her. Perhaps Twitney really is simply trying to outrun her demons, literally AND figuratively.

I could understand that...if this were the same house she was living in during their marriage. That one (in California) has been sold.

She's got another house to go to, why not go to it? Neither house that she has now, she had during their marriage. And I can understand not wanting to be alone, but she has people around her all the time. Perhaps not "friends" (in the true sense of the word), but at least she isn't by herself all the time.

She needs to face a lot of things head on, but refuses to do so, and that's a big reason why she is in the situation she is in today.

In a way, I can actually see why she would want to stay at hotels and not at her house. During my own divorce, and even afterward for awhile, I did NOT want to be at my house by myself. It was just too much. There were too many memories, it was too quiet, and I ended up crying too much. It just felt better to be elsewhere. I believe the current house she lives in is not the one she had when they were married, but I can still understand wanting to keep herself occupied elsewhere. At some point though, you just have to go home and face the emotions head on!

ick. Did you see the photos of her driving her assistant's car? I suppose poor Carla/Karla had no choice, what do you do when your meal-ticket, erm, I mean boss says "give me the keys."
I guess trying to convince her to stay home and watch CSI Miami was out of the question?
