Is Britney Finally Showing Some Restraint?
In the form of a restraining order, that is! According to X17, after cruising around so that she could listen to some music in the car and going to (but not going into) a club, she and Osama bin Loopy invited a couple of the agency’s photogs inside for a bit of a party (what, she doesn’t have any regular friends?). In the course of the evening she danced around in her pink wig to her own music and that of Amy Winehouse, and the photogs witnessed her drink a half a glass of champagne (no word on what she did out of eyesight). Then Smarm showed them a paper, and whaddya think it was?
At one point in the discussion, Sam took a paper out of his pocket — it was a restraining order against Adnan Ghalib. He said, “Look at this!”
Britney expressed disappointment and anger toward Adnan for being “set-up” in photographs that Adnan and his agency have sold of Britney and Adnan together.
Roberto and Leandro didn’t ask questions — they were surprised at the restraining order. After talking about it briefly, the continued having a good time and around 6 am, our photogs said they had to leave. Britney begged them to stay, but Sam insisted that she get some sleep.
I find it amazing that it took this long for Brit to wise up to the fact that Anon was using her to further his own ambitions (and pad his own wallet). People theorized that perhaps Brit was in on the whole deal, and who knows, she may have been…maybe her cut of the take wasn’t as big as she thought it should be. Or maybe Smarmy bin Lousy thought that Anon was moving in on his territory money friend. Or maybe the whole thing (’impromptu’ party included) was a massive publicity stunt. Or maybe…was Brit truly that naive?
Just because you’re an adult, just because you’re a famous person, doesn’t mean that you know how to ‘protect’ yourself from people like Anon.
And what does Anon do now? I wouldn’t think he could go back to being a pap…I’d think his former colleagues would have a few choice words to say about that. I wonder if he can assemble a Big Mac?

I think there is more to this story. He was treating her very rough the night she went to the grill for dinner with him in public last — dragging her roughly by the wrist and knocking over tables as they left, later she was out without him with Sam and they went on the middle-of-the-night shopping spree. There was one more set of pictures on FinalPixx of them together and now this…
I hope she dumped him — I’m not counting on it though, she isn’t showing that good of judgement.
BTW, I did read that last week when she was due in court and finally appeared outside and didn’t go in that Sam kept trying to get her to go inside and Adnan kept saying let’s leave. One of the networks (I think CNN) had some good camera shots when she was sitting in the drivers seat and Sam was gestering toward the court and Adnan wasn’t really showing interest one way or the other.. not sure what the Adnan deal is, but it doesn’t pass any smell tests… I hope he is gone.

Rappy, I couldn’t agree more, Adnan is the worst of the hanger-ons. His motives are purely evil, and taking sexual advantage of Britney when she is in such an awful state is reprehensible.

I put very little stock in the truthfulness of anything X17 reports. They do seem to have a vested interest, and rarely say anything bad about Britney.
The staffers over there really laid in on Anon (irregardless of his obvious motives) and X17 seemed to be genuinely upset that she chose to bed a photog from another agency.
Not defending the guy by any stretch, but I don’t think Britney is totally innocent here. Perhaps Brit and Addon were both manipulating and being manipulated by the other.
She seems so desperate for “playmates” (not to mention that she seems to have really crappy taste in men) that I’m sure that anyone who knows how to play her can get inside.
Plus, I seriously doubt the X17 guys’ motives are any more pure than Addon’s were.

Oh, crazymom, I totally agree about their “motives”. I don’t think they are Brit’s friends any more than I’m Eleanor Roosevelt.
But I will say, some of the posts about Brit lately have had a bit more of an edge to them than previous ones. Not saying that they still aren’t fawning over her shamelessly, but there’s a bit of snark there that wasn’t there before.
