Britney’s Pal Says Her Family Doesn’t Fit In Any More, Especially Not In Her New Car
You know, when I first read this, it reminded me of manipulators who take someone emotionally weaker than they are and work on that, telling them that their family and friends don’t care any more, that the manipulator is the only one who TRULY cares. I could be wrong, but then again…?
[Sam] Lutfi said of [Britney’s] family, “They have an agenda. Their agenda is jealously because they don’t fit in. I do. They see her three times a year.”
Britney was by the phone during Lutfi’s conversation with [Harvey] Levin [owner of TMZ]. Lutfi claimed he did not force Britney to buy a car, asking Brit, “Did I force you to buy a car.” In a heavy southern accent she responded, “No.” He continued, “Do I ever bug you.” She replied, “We argue.”
Is anyone else totally creeped out by that? It’s like the manipulator and his prisoner…he brings her up out of her box to stand there and parrot monosyllabic answers while he does all the talking.
But what else is interesting about this little tidbit is this line:
Lutfi said there was no intervention last night, but then said Britney’s family “barged in.” For the record, the family is staging an intervention and Lutfi has been kept in the dark.
Um…HELLO? Isn’t an “intervention” supposed to be a surprise thing? It sounds like the only one surprised is Osmarmy because everybody else on the planet knows about it. Way to keep it on the down-low, folks.
And like I said yesterday, I don’t think “intervention” is quite the correct term here…what are they going to say to her, if she doesn’t get help they’ll never speak to her again? They barely speak to her now. Or that they’ll withdrawal monetary support? Um, she’s the one supporting them. Perhaps they’ll not let her see her kids? The court tried that, it didn’t work. They aren’t planning an intervention…an argument, perhaps, or a strong talking-to, or a finger-waggle with a “no no no”, but not an intervention.
In other Brit news, she took delivery of a new Mercedes-Benz yesterday. Yes, another one. And apparently she went shopping for it in the middle of her, um, intervention:
As TMZ first reported, the family is staging an intervention so Britney can get help for her bipolar disorder. Family sources say they are furious at Lutfi, claiming he pushed Brit into going to B.H. Mercedes today to buy a new car — in the middle of the effort to save her.
And just what did she buy? A black, two-seater, SLK 350 Mercedes-Benz, for which she paid $55,000. Cash. Paid in full. What, no place for child seats? Then she went out driving in it later that night, only to get lost and have to ask one of her pap friends to help.
That’s right, folks…all you who shelled out fifteen bucks for her CDs are co-conspirators with Osmarmy. She used your money to buy a car that’s worth more than many people’s houses, possibly more than the houses of the very people who have supported her by buying her products. That’s the money she uses to blow her life away, while her kids grow up with no mother.
Can I tie this very irrational decision to my theory on the effects of her menstrual cycle to her possible bipolar symptoms?
This is quite possibly the most frightening video of Brit I’ve seen yet. I like what Michael from dlisted had to say about it:
Brit’s relationship with the paps is so f*cking strange. She’s standing there like a little girl and they are saying sh*t like “ooooh, it’s ok Britney…it’s ok…don’t be scared” while snapping away. It’s like they are petting her head and slapping her in the face at the same time.

UPDATE: TMZ is reporting that Brit is getting some medical help for her mental health issues, which apparently have been confirmed as bipolarity. However, she is having the typical problem of taking her meds for a while, feeling better, and then stopping them:
Britney has seen doctors who have been referred by other doctors, plus doctors who have been referred by celebrities Britney knows, and doctors referred by her lawyers, family and friends. We’re told the process has been excruciating for her, partly because her disease is severe.
Sources tell slightly different stories about the efficacy of the medication. A friend says when Britney takes her medicine she is like “a different person — normal and sweet.” But she takes her meds for a while and then feels as if she can live without it — so she stops taking them — and her condition quickly deteriorates. But a professional tells TMZ flatly, “The medication just isn’t working.”
That same professional tells TMZ, “She’s really trying. Whether it works — we’ll have to see.” That person also says it’s extremely frustrating when the media shows video of Britney out on the town acting crazy, adding, “She has a disease. Sometimes when you see her she’s in the middle of an episode. It’s like mocking someone with Down syndrome.”
UPDATE#2: You simply must see this video. At some point she turns her shirt completely around and wears it backwards (you don’t see it on tape but it’s obvious). And check out Osmarmy’s eyeroll.

UPDATE #3: According to X17 (I really hate that site, but sometimes it’s the only place to go for info, true or not), Brit has been up for over 60 hours. It would seem this is the manic phase.

I love Osama saying that Britney’s FAMILY has “an agenda”, as if Osama doesn’t.
The video of Britney with the paps and wanting them to turn her car around is disturbing. She has a bizarre love-hate thing going on with them. I think the assessment that she’s got Stockholm Syndrome is right. Very disturbing.

she doesn’t even know where she is or who she is. It’s obvious that this has gone well past the point of no return. IF she does not get meds and help fast I hate to say it but I don’t see a future for her. She is a danger to herself and others and Lutfi, Adnan whatever and the paps should be brought up on charges. This whole debacle is sickening to watch. The only hope is that her parents take advantage of the fact that she is in a haze and stick to their guns - push, push and push until she makes some changes - any changes.

What a complete mess, and the whackjobs around her are just disgusting. I can’t even imagine having a family member like her. I can’t imagine what it would be like trying to figure out how to save someone from completely self-destructing. Her mother must be overcome with grief. I sure would be, if my daughter or my sister was inches away from total self-immolation.
And I’ll bet the BS about her taking meds for her “mental issues” is just that, BS. Sure seems like total spin control to me. What else is there to do, at this point?
And as for Sam, OMG, someone needs to get that guy OUT of the picture, pronto!!! His calls to Barbara Walters and TMZ were so blatantly over the top, it was obvious that he’s all about the power he has over her. He’ll do ANYTHING to keep that power, including bad mouthing her family publicly. That guy is totally making himself the center of her universe. And there’s nothing her mother can do but sit and watch her flame out. I’m truly disgusted.

I agree that Osama Lutfi is absolutely creepy. The whole thing with him telling the guards who they could let in is abhorrent and strongly reminiscent of the behaviors of controlling, abusive husbands. No matter if we don’t agree with her choice of who she wants to see - it’s still her right to make that decision and he’s on shaky legal ground by denying it.
You know what struck me about this, also, is that for someone who thinks she’s the queen of the universe and all that, Britney sure is letting some smarmy guy push her around an awful lot. If it was me, and some man (I don’t care WHO it was) told the guards not to let anyone in and turned off all my cellphones, I don’t think I’d have a relationship with that person anymore. It’s simply unacceptable to trespass on my personal right to self-determination that way. I don’t think any man I’ve ever been with would even consider trying to tell me who I could talk to or not, actually.

Well, Mitsu, I have to agree with you (and btw, where have you beeeeen? You can’t run off without checking with us first, you know).
But what I think is important for us to remember is that Britney isn’t in her right mind, and most of us commenting are (for the most part). Therefore it’s easy for us to look at it from the outside and see things that Britney, inside and not thinking clearly, is likely to miss, overlook, or plain not understand.
I think she wants to believe, and therefore she does. She wants to believe it is how she sees it, therefore it becomes her reality. Because she believes it, that makes it real.

Oswami reminds me a little too much of Howard Stern and how he controlled access to Anna Nicole Smith. We all know how well that turned out; he would stand by and watch her melt down and make a fool of herself in public, too.
I know if this was my daughter, I WOULD find a way to do something.

I’ll just bet Lufti is sticking by her closely, figuring that she will die very soon…and he’ll make a basket-load of money off the publicity surrounding her demise. Yup, we’re watchin’ the reprise of the Howard K. Stern show, real-time. I wonder if he’ll lay claim to her house, too?

He’ll go for all she’s got left, and at the rate she’s burning through money (and not replacing it) there won’t be much left for him to go through before he moves on to his next victim.
This has been fascinating, y’all, but I just got to get some sleep…unlike Brit, I can’t go for days on end with no sleep!

P.S. I noticed she is back to her British accent, again, in these video’s. Her actions were so manic, can someone tell me WHAT she buys in all these trips to the drug stores? and does it appear to anyone, beside me, that some of the magazines on the stand appeared to have pics of her kids on the covers?
I am very afraid for this girl…. more than anything these videos gave me chills.

Well, leave it to Lufti K. Stern to call the kettle black. From paps to parents, everyone around this girl has an agenda.
That said, aside from (bad) publicity, I don’t see what benefit O’Smarmy gets out his symbiotic relationship with Britishney. I don’t think the guy has much of a life, apart from micromanaging Britney’s.
I can’t believe I’m actually saying this, but I kinda feel bad for him. Irregardless of the fact that he’s put himself in this position, it can’t be all candy and rainbows being Britney’s (albeit self-appointed) babysitter 24/7. (Unless he’s managed to get himself appointed executor of her estate or something sinister like that)
I saw the video where she’s at the Rite-Aid buying cosmetics and who knows what else, and the poor guy is rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. If she’s awake for 80 hours straight, I’m guessing he’s got to be awake with her because she needs playmates.
I’m guessing when he was denied entry into the hospital, he probably thanked jeebus and went home to get some sleep.

Did you see on the video link I posted where he did the eyeroll when she wanted him to drive? I think it was in front of the hotel. I really don’t like the guy but that was funny.
And one of the things she bought was Correctol. They showed it on one of the sites (forget which, maybe X17). You could see it in the sack, two boxes.
I don’t even wanna know.
