Scientology Leader David Miscavige Explains COS Plans To “Obliterate” Psychiatry
The above video is of COS leader, David Miscavige, addressing his ”flock’ as to how the organization plans to “obliterate psychiatry” in what can only be described as hate-filled sermon against an entire community of people who have dedicated themselves to helping people lead relatively normal lives in spite of chemical imbalances, emotional trauma, abuse, and personality disorders. A community of people mind you, who are accredited from real schools of higher learning and given certificates to practice medicine based on years of real scientific studies in the arts of psychology and psychiatry.
So yeah, I guess I can see Miscavige’s point, why trust those with degrees in the field of psychology, when I can put my life in the hands of an organization whose very foundation was built on the philosophy that the best way to make money was to start your own religions? That sounds ethical, moral and sincere.
If you can wade your way through the COS double-speak and pseudo-sciency sounding lexicon, what Miscavige is saying is COS is waging a war on psychiatry (and winning of course) by publicly discrediting those who practice the medicinal art. On top of that, he also elaborates on how COS has distributed over 70+ million pamphlets worldwide on their literature titled “Way to Happiness” to help those people who are vulnerable, lost or confused and in need of spiritual guidance. Since COS is single-handedly putting the evil psychiatrists out of business, this leaves COS to help pick of the pieces of the shattered remains of the psyches of those who are no longer able to get the medical help they need. However, he failed to mention once COS is done sucking these people dry of both their money and their will, they are indiscriminately tossed on their collective asses to fend for themselves.
I paraphrase here, because I don’t speak Xenu.
While we’re on the subject of David Miscavige, I should mention a recent news story about his niece Jenna Hill Miscavige and her bravery for speaking out against COS and her uncle.
In a NYP article, Jenna gives some insight as to what she endured during her times with the COS.
Jenna left the COS in 2005 because she was virtually unable to visit or see her parents since their defection from COS in 2000:
Jenna let loose on Scientology last month when she posted an open letter to a senior sect official, which was later posted on the Web, praising the Morton book and slamming the church. Scientology spokeswoman Karin Pouw responded to her: “I am absolutely shocked at how vehemently you insist upon not only denying the truths that have been stated about the church in that biography, but then take it a step further and tell outright lies.”
Pouw did not respond to our call for further comment by press time yesterday.
But Jenna is not backing down. Her mother and father left Scientology in 2000, but she stayed in until 2005, during which time she says she was kept in a boarding school, only allowed to see her parents once a year and subjected to a bizarre daily regimen.
“If you flunked your uniform inspection, sometimes if you were late . . . you would be dumped with a five-gallon bucket of ice water,” she tells Recchia, a former Post reporter.
“We were also required to write down all transgressions . . . similar to a sin in the Catholic religion. After writing them all down, we would receive a meter check on the Electropsychometer to make sure we weren’t hiding anything, and you would have to keep writing until you came up clean. This is from the age of 5 until I was 12.”
Wow, and I thought Catholic school sounded scary.
I hope Jenna has some kind of security detail. I give her credit for coming forward, it must be very frightening for her to go up against an organization as powerful as the COS. Maybe this will give courage to others to leave.

Be very wary of the tenth of February.

On a serious note, I really wonder what COS’ response will be to the planned protest? They’ve been awfully quiet.
Maybe they are losing their will to fight with so much of their evilness having been made so readily accessible on the web.
If only we could save Katie and Suri before the implosion occurs.
I will pray to my deity of choice for their safety. See Terryeo, I can pray for free anytime I want because my religion doesn’t keep tabs on me and doesn’t charge me for the “way to happiness.”

They’re not staying quiet. Word’s in that the Clearwater picket will have 10 off-duty cops hired by the CoS to “supervise”, being paid a massive $45/hour.
The pre-protest meetups and practice protests have had the police called on ‘em before (including a hilarious one where two guys went out to hand out fliers or something, and the CoS called the police because they were feeling “threatened”). Though the police laughed them off that time (not in Clearwater
).
Comment by Anon — February 7, 2008 @ 6:08 pm
@#17: Actually, D, that’s one of the more important subjects of discussion on our lovely Enturbulation board. It seems like the game plan might be their usual counter-protesting tactics (a leaked e-mail mentioned having VM tents around in some locations on 2-10), but there’s also been rumors that some major buildings will be ‘closed for the day’ then. Clearwater intel has confirmed that the Scions are going to hire 10 or so policemen to try and counter the protest there.

What is little known and NEVER reported by the mainstream media, is that since the blackbox warnings were put on SRI drugs in the past few years, the prescription of said drugs for children has gone down. This would seem like a positive, except the reason is not that less people are mentally ill, but that doctors are afraid of potential lawsuits.
The result? A giant SPIKE in the suicide rate, particularly among young clinically depressed teenage girls whose doctors were dissuaded by the FDA’s warning, which as you can see plain as day in the video, was the doing of the CoS CCHR. These people have no place in science. It is not a logical leap to say that scientology has it’s hands bloody from the deaths of these little girls.
David Miscavage should be considered a sociopath, a fraudster and a cultist. Nothing short of prison will suffice.

Dear Anons,
Going back to the article, psychiatry is a lie starting from the name itself.
IT should mean “doctor of the spirit” but they don’t believe man is a spirit but just a block of meat.
Their past is also horrible.
They have invented hundreds of systems to torture people like heavy drugging, cages, elettrick shocks to kid, they were friends of Hitler etc etc.
So they have to go down in flames!!!
And they will go down in flames!!!
If you look at the parts of society that went down (like education, use of drugs etc) and you will see the dirty hand of psichiatry entering these areas and start to operate there before the downfall.
Regarding the 10th of Feb are you guys taking out of the closet your KKK “attire” or will you show your face?

The same silly assertion can be made about $cientology, Frank. Dictionary.com says its entomology is from “knowing how to know,” yet it has little to do with “knowing,” a lot to do with self-delusion.

Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t trying to ensure I got credit or anything like that. But I’m fairly new to this rather interesting sort of event. I find it amusing how no matter how much accurate information there is available, some people in the media still make such simple errors. Errors that could have been avoided by asking the right question, or doing a little research.
I’ll just say that this has truly opened my eyes. I never took the majority of what I saw in the media at face value, but these little things make me question it even further.
Dawn, I would like to suggest you join in on the forums at enturbulation.org if you haven’t already. Should you wish to continue your articles on this subject there are many there who would provide you with info, maybe even interviews. There’s even a section for questions from the media.
