Hey Scientologists, Your Leader Says “Vrrrooom, Vrrrooom”

I have to admit this is the first time I have seen Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard in live action. Up until now, I assumed he must have been a powerfully articulate, eloquent and profoundly charismatic speaker. I mean how else could he have created such a thriving religion full of wonder and mystery?

Then I watched the above video and thought: “Whatsamada wid yu hat?”

Yep, L. Ron makes a persuasive argument against the use of psychiatric medicine.

Thanks to the genius who passed this on to me. This might have to be the new theme song for my radio show.

  1. WHAT???

So much for Tommy Boy’s claims that you can be a Christian and be a Scientologist. “There was no Christ.” So saith LRH. Wonder what Katie’s parents think of that?

If these people start saying they can raise the dead after three days, watch out, the end is near.

After reading all of these things, I find it amazing that people can criticize Christianity.

    Whassamadder widyu, hat?

  3. Oh, btw, here’s the full quote:

Everyman is then shown to have been crucified so don’t think that it’s an accident that this crucifixion, they found out that this applied. Somebody somewhere on this planet, back about 600 BC, found some pieces of R6, and I don’t know how they found it, either by watching madmen or something, but since that time they have used it and it became what is known as Christianity. The man on the Cross. There was no Christ. But the man on the cross is shown as Everyman. So of course each person seeing a crucified man, has an immediate feeling of sympathy for this man. Therefore you get many PCs who says they are Christ. Now, there’s two reasons for that. One is the Roman Empire was prone to crucify people, so a person can have been crucified, but in R6 he is shown as crucified.

  5. I love how Scientology seems set up specifically to be their own footbullet. Seriously, how hard could it have been to create an evil cult that DOESN’T teach a bunch of suff so completely nutso or obviously pointed at pissing people off that anyone who hears it wants to punch something.

Seriously, was the whole Xenu thing REALLY necessary? I’d think it’d be much easier to be taken seriously if you, you know, didn’t have such bat-shit crazy maerial that it needs to remain hidden. Pardon my Thetanese.

  11. The thing about this cult is that it does not show its members what it truly believes in at first; it begins by luring their followers by facading themselves as “Self improvement centers”, and only have a certain ammount of time within the Organization (and a certain, large ammount of fees) do you learn the truth; only bit-by-bit, however, and this is after convincing you that the Co$ is truth!

  23. People, please check news being reported as of today. The Church is now starting a campaign in many lesser developed nations, under the guise of self help. I believe the leaders may know that the hammer is about to come down, and are already preparing to establish their operations elsewhere in the world where their practices are less widely known. Please pass this info along.

“Despite legal threats and harassment from Scientology, Channel 4 refused to pull this film, insisting it was based on factual material and interviews with people who had known Mr. Hubbard very well.”

  27. Yeah the Philippines is a prime target for a lot of cults, I’m surprised it’s taken CoS this lnog to get involved there in massive numbers.

As for the video, I always thought the whole “silor” thing was pretty indicative of what a wacko hubbard was. He was obsessed with it.

I wonder how lnog before CoS tries to get this video taken down. It’s funny, they make “promotional videos” but don’t want people watching them.

  29. You guys should really check out that link from #13. It shows lots of footage of crazy LRH and how his sanity unravels. It starts off slow, talking about how he got started, then it starts to get really good and nutty around part 3. It talks about his son’s suicide and operation snow white. It also talks about a little 4yr old boy he locked up on his SEA ORG ship as punishment and wasn’t even allowed to go to the bathroom! Near the end they interview the former mayor of Clearwater, Florida (the city they took over).
If even HALF this stuff is true, then HOLY SH**!!!
