Jennifer Lopez And Marc Anthony Welcome Twins
It seems that Jennifer Lopez said goodbye to stretch marks and hello to peach-pit tummy (any woman who has given birth knows what I’m talking about); she and hubby Marc Anthony welcomed a boy and a girl early Friday morning:
The babies were born early Friday in Long Island, N.Y. The girl was born at 12:12 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz., and the boy followed at 12:23 a.m., weighing 6 lbs.
“Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon,” Lopez’s manager Simon Fields tells PEOPLE exclusively.
They’re the first children for Lopez, 38, and the fourth and fifth for Anthony, 39. The couple celebrated the impending births with a baby shower in New York on Jan. 19. “They were just beaming the entire time,” said one partygoer.
It would seem the pregnancy is confirmed.
Congratulations to the proud parents! Now, why not scrap that $6M photo deal that just makes you look like greedy moneygrubbers, eager to pimp out those little babies to the highest bidder? Or at least donate it to a worthy children’s charity on the block?

1. I understand J.Ho has taken $cientology courses, so I wonder if it was a “silent birth.”
2. She should know that selling baby pix signals to the paps that her kids are fair game. There would be a massive contradiction to selling baby pix AND trying to claim privacy. Or at least that’s how it seems to me.

Precisely.
I thought about including a COS angle in this story, but decided to leave that one up to D, since she’s about a bazillion times better at it than I am.

Time for the pimping of the tots to commence.

If by “silent” they mean no singing from J.Lo, I am all for that.

Gawd, I just hope that she doesn’t do that stupid Cindy Crawford, Celine Dion, Kate Hudson thing where she doesn’t cut her son’s hair until he’s 30. She so seems like the type that would do that.
I have never liked her. I find her incredibly self-centered (not to mention self-indulgent). I wonder what life will be like when J-Lo is suddenly not the most important person in the room anymore.
Then again, she may turn out to be the most amazing mother on the planet, but if whoring out your kids for a $6M paycheck is any indication…

Oh, if you really want to know the details of the room, here you go.
How come I didn’t get rich wood cabinets and aromatherapy when I was giving birth?
