The Bloom Is Off Orlando Bloom
All you tweenyboppers and young thangs so infatuated with hot star Orlando Bloom? Yeah, you might want to rethink that…if you’re into not stinking up the room, that is:
“Miranda thinks Orlando is too smelly. Recently, she asked him if he could wash his clothes and perhaps shower more often.”
When he’s not working on a film, the Pirates of the Caribbean star, 31, “goes days without washing his clothes,” adds the source. “He’ll wear the same jeans for a week before he throws them in the washer. Same goes for his sweaters, T-shirts and socks.”
It doesn’t help that he sleeps with his dog, Sidi, and lets her slobber all over him.
Since Miranda, 24, told him to clean up his act, Orlando has been trying. But, says the source, he’s told friends “he doesn’t know if this relationship will last.”
Okay, I’ll be the first one to admit that I personally believe that we are a bit too germophobic as a society at large (and this from someone who deals with OCD). All this antibacterial this and that is just helping to breed supergerms that will someday destroy us all.
Having said that…I shower every day (even if it is at noon), I wash my hands after I go potty, I do my laundry, and I change my socks and unders at least once a day. Because BO is a no-no. And if Orlando thinks that a supermodel is going to stick around with him and overlook his skidmarks and nasty pits and cruddy socks that stand in the corner on their own, he’s got another think coming. I know he likes being “green”, but you can find “green” laundry detergent and soaps and grooming products.
I mean, for some women that stuff might be a turn-on, but they tend to not shave their legs and eat only organic vegan soybeans and pick their toenails with their teeth and read via candlelight and live on houseboats that sink once a day. I can’t see Orlando doing that. For me, nothing says “This relationship is going nowhere” like week-old pit stains or wearing the same clothes day after day (which he has been photographed doing).
Yeah, think about that the next time you gaze at that poster of Will Turner on your wall. It’s more authentic than you thought…pirates don’t smell like Axe Touch, you know!

Please, like this isn’t some stunt to start shit about him. Or better yet, I wouldn’t be surprised if Orlando himself started this to get away from just being known for being hot and having a pretty face like Brad Pitt did like 15 years ago. I’m not a teenybopper but I do think he’s hot and I’m a fan. Why don’t you try to be more professional and not let your jealousy show through your articles. It’s probably why this is the first time I’ve even heard of your celeb gossip website…

Got news for ya. My life is fine, not jealous of anyone.
Why don’t YOU try to come up with something more original. Disagree with me, that’s fine…no problems with that. But pulling up the same old tired “you’re jealous” line is unoriginal and pathetic and boring. Fail.

It’s official, you’re an idiot. Jealousy has nothing to do with people thinking other people being smelly is gross. If you like smelly, crusty, sweaty, pitstained dudes, hey good on you. But the rest of us civilized humans think it’s pretty gross and unsanitary to not bathe regularly or wash your clothes. Even people in third world countries who have limited access to clean water and detergents make every effort to clean themselves as often as they can. You can be green, without letting everything around you turn green.
Oh, and the reason you’ve never heard of our site is because it’s for grown ups. Clearly your parents filtering software has a glitch in. Better look into that before you see something that makes you cry wee wittle tears.

eugggh!! he might look good but but this is no substitute for sufficient personal hygiene skills - Totally rough and a deffinate no no!! Its really not that suprising that someone like orlando would do this - lets face it how many times has he photographed in the same outfit, attending different events for days at a time - thats gotta reek…. knowning that any encounter with him would need a clothes peg is doing a great job of detracting from his overall cuteness - maybe miranda should develop a keenness for laundry?? or ban the mutt out of the bedroom….

Thanks! I tried to find one that was of Orlando and Miranda, with her walking about ten paces behind him, holding her nose and spraying Airwick, but they just aren’t out there.

No, I do have a problem with people and bad hygiene. The whole point of my post was to express that I think the whole story is bulshit. And to answer the little comment about this site being filtered by “my parents”. I am the parent and I dont have the need to filter anything. I think the reason of not hearing or seeing this site before today is because it’s shitty reporting. There’s tons of other websites reporting this rumor and they dont feel the need to bash his fans (young or not) or have the need to reassure the readers that the author showers everyday.
It’s bad ethics and just plain childish. If you really want to be a reporter when you grow up then you should try to be more mature while you work. If you are an adult (which I highly doubt) then I guess thats why your still stuck with a “no-name” “going no where soon” celeb gossip website.
And to be clear. I dont need to come up with “something more original” to say. It is what it is. Just by the way you answered my comment goes to show that you are jealous. You dont bash someone and then tell everyone that you happen to shower every day just because you feel like it. Its called jealousy or better yet insecurity. That’s what it looks like and that’s what it sounds like. It’s not my fault your so obvious about it.

It’s called humor and clearly you lack that component in your lifeless personality. Lighten up Francis, or just go away, because you are a pathetic troll looking to harass the writers of this site. If you don’t like it, then go to the other sites you enjoy.
Please, really we encourage you to branch out away from our site. You are not our target audience and I don’t begrudge your opinion, but what purpose is there to insult the writer of this site. We are reporting the same story, in that same tone as any other celeb site.

EWWWW!!!!! That’s just disgusting. What gives with the whole being dirty thing? I just don’t get it. I know a person who won’t shower every day because she says its bad for her skin. Whatever. I need my shower every day, and I need my clean and fresh clothes, too. And I prefer that from the humans around me, be they celebrities or regular folk.

I’ve seen this story on a number of sites. My reaction to all the comments I’ve read is simply this - why do so many people believe it? Do they think that because it is written, it is the truth? It could be true, I’ve never been near the man himself to know. It could be false, an attempt to make him look bad. Why? Don’t know that either. Just curious as to why so many are taking it a real without a shred of proof.

Well, I used to like interacting with the readers who disagreed with me. I thought that it set up apart from other sites, that we don’t just post and run…that we stand behind what we say, that we come on here and discuss things with our readers when other sites just post and let things stand with no interaction.
