CALL IN NUMBER: (646)478-0139
CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO SHOW AND PARTICIPATE IN CHATROOM

Mr. Zuckerman is an accomplished lawyer who specializes “in the fields of U.S. and international antitrust law and trade regulation, employment law, and other governmental regulation of business” within his practice at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt and Mosle. Prior to becoming a partner for the firm 1989, “Mr. Zuckerman was the Director of the Bureau of Competition at the Federal Trade Commission (1986-89); Chief of Staff at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (1984-86); and Special Assistant to the Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Antitrust Division at the U.S. Department of Justice (1981-84).”
Some of the questions we will be discussing with Mr. Zuckerman on the show will be:
Why did the Sklars decide to take legal action?
How did they become aware of the CoS agreement and how it pertained to their case with the IRS?
What do you think the ramifications will be for a loss in this case? What about a win?
How far into the legal process do you feel this case will go before there is a resolution? Supreme Court?
Have you been before the Supreme Court before?
Does the court of “public opinion” help or hurt this case and for whom?
Have the Sklar’s been contacted by anyone from the Church of Scientology? Have you?
Why do you think the IRS made this agreement with the CoS, and why haven’t they disclosed it even now, with a case pending?
Do you think the IRS will be able to prove their case, since the burden of proof lies with them (and CoS of course)?
Have the Sklars/you considered filing a class-action suit?
If anyone has additional questions as they relate to this case, please login to the chatroom during the show, we will be fielding questions to Mr. Zuckerman and encourage you to participate. There will be an additional 30 minutes starting, from 11:00 - 11:30 for discussion after the show for anyone who has information they want to share or topics they wish to discuss either relating to this interview or the upcoming March 15th global protests planned by Anonymous.

The breakthrough article about the tax exemption for scientology was written by Doug Frantz, in New York Times.
“The “Feds” don’t have an office that says such and such is or is not a religion, they do however have the IRS… which after 70+ lawsuits by the Scientologists, caved in, granting them a non profit religious status under an unprecedented sealed secret settlement agreement…”
PDF file of opinion at 9 Circuit Court of Appeals website “An IRS Closing agreement cannot overule Congress and the Supreme Court”….”
If the IRS does in fact give preferential treatment to members of …Scientology– allowing them a special right to claim deductions that are contrary to law and rightly disallowed to everybody else — then the proper course of action is a lawsuit to put a stop to that policy —”
and the Secret IRS Agreement

This is by far one of the most important shows you have chosen to undertake. I will do my best to try and call in. Thank you so much for getting this story out!!

YOU PEOPLE ARE FOOLS IF YOU FALL FOR THIS LAME ATTEMPT TO DISCREDIT A RELIGION. Guess what? Anonymous is losing steam. These are dumbass junior high kids. They’re popping pimples and playing Mario video games. PROTESTING IS BORING. Nobody cares about protests. MY RELIGION IS CLEARING THE WORLD OF INSANITY. Do you idiots not get that? WE ARE YOUR SALVATION, ITS INEVITABLE, yet you want to destroy the work we’re doing? Like a wise man said, someday you will be NOTHING MORE than a topic in history books. You should join our church now, with seriousness. The alternative is like taking a shotgun and blowing your own head off. Really, you’re headed down that road.
Comment by SCIENTOLOGIST — March 2, 2008 @ 5:36 am
#3, You can’t be serious? Surely you are just pulling our leg, because if you are serious you are one f*cked up individual who really needs to go see a shrink, get on some meds and be kept in a nice white room with padded walls.
See this your brain, this is your brain on Scientology - get it.
And suggesting people blow their heads off? Wow, evil and vile all at the same time. Count me out in your attempts to “save” the world.
Comment by D — March 2, 2008 @ 9:27 am
To # 3 above, Bite me. If being saved means becoming a mindless drone of David Miscavige ( I always seem to want to type Mis cabbage for some reason) then I guess I’ll pass on your so called salvation. Someone said ignorance is bliss, well total ignorance = Co$ mindset as so far I can see. Dawn I love your site and look forward to the second radio broadcast. Facinating. http://www.freedomofmind.com/resourcecenter/responsibility/mind.htm

Not sure if #3 is serious or not but it echoes the sentiment found in this Scientology Orientation video at 2 mins in… Creepy stuff. (watch that part and read the post #3 above)

To the SCIENTOLOGIST, I know that you’re feeling kind of persecuted right now, and that the edicts of your religion demand that you attack rather than defend, but if there is still a shred of your brain that can contemplate thought outside the rules of KSW, please just consider this-
According to high level Scientologists and former members I have spoken to, there are high incidents of prostate cancer and low sperm motility in men, and breast and uterine cancer in women above the OT II Level. Why you might ask?
The long term effects of having a small but significant electrical current run through your body over years of auditing with the emeter has a serious impact on your health. The “super human powers” (which have never been displayed in public) that they claim to possess can’t save these people. Neither can the Purif Rundown (although massive doses of Niacin and hours in a sauna can play merry hell with your liver and kidneys), nor considering yourself “out ethics.”
Good old fashioned medicine and treatment can, but that costs money for most people- when given the choice between their lives and their religions, most people will chose life. But that means that they can’t afford both “services” and healthcare. And if you’re no longer an asset in the CoS, you’re a liability. Most major religions don’t have a “pay to play” attitude- yours does. “Tything” does exist in religions such as the Mormon Church, it’s true, but it’s based on your personal finances, and does not have an immovable price tag, regardless of your income.
I cannot speak for everyone else on this site or even this thread, but I can tell you this from my heart- I don’t hate you. I don’t even dislike you; I, a wog, pity you and want to help you.
The fact of the matter is that you probably joined the Scientologists looking for answers, an admirable human quality that many of us possess. You, however, were taken in by a well orchestrated spiritual Ponzi scheme, by a smooth talking pulp Science Fiction writer who wanted his follower’s money and free will. It’s not your fault- it doesn’t make you a bad person. Plenty of people have been sucked not just into Scientology, but many a scheme looking for answers to the universe but found that it was all just a cult of personality and greed.
In your darker moments, haven’t you asked yourself why your “services” are increasingly expensive, and yet after the first few stages nothing has really changed in your life other than the size of your bank account? Why your religion’s management increasingly demand that you isolate yourself from anyone not in the religion? Why there is such a level of vehemence and aggression against your chosen Church from the outside world? Why is there such a level of vehemence and aggression again those not in the religion, either referring to them as “raw meat” or “wogs” (a phrase L Ron co-opted from British Imperial slang, meaning “wily oriental gentleman,” a lesser being not worthy of respect)? Why the “Superpower” course has been constantly pushed back from the CoS public, even though the people working on are supposed to be free from the basic human frailties that their training is apparently enabled them to be?
Doubtless, right now as you’re reading this comment, you’re getting angry. Angry at me, angry at this site, angry at anyone who would dare point out that perhaps you’ve made a decision that wasn’t the best. But I don’t want to attack you- I just want to make you aware of what else is out there.
Don’t take my word for it- check it out for yourself. Go to your local library or a Kinkos, anywhere you can access a computer that doesn’t have the CoS net nanny installed on it. Check out to anti-Scientology websites- there are many on these threads to choose from I don’t think I need to repeat them here. If you don’t understand a concept, then go back and read it again until you do. Use a dictionary (Websters, not L. Ron’s). Ask questions. Think for yourself. At least this part will feel familiar to you, perhaps even comforting- and it doesn’t demand that you scream at an ashtray or another inanimate object.
If you come to the conclusion that your faith and decisions may have been made under some kind of illusion, there are plenty of people, regardless of where you live who are ready and willing to help you. You are not alone.
If you come to the conclusion that your faith and decisions may have been the right ones, then good luck to you. If you get up to OT II or higher and contract cancer (God forbid), to the point where you are no longer well enough to pay for “services” the wog world that you currently hold in so much disdain will still be here for you; the wogs will give you chemotherapy and counselling and anything else you need, not just massages and saunas. We still won’t turn our back on you- you are human in need, asking for help. You don’t need to be a Scientologist to see someone in pain and want to help, regardless of what your “wise” Tom Cruise said.
Even if all my words fall on deaf ears, I hope that one question gets through … when you no longer are a financial asset to the CoS, can you honestly say that Miscavige and the Sea Org would still help you? Are you willing to risk your life and those of your family on that faith?

NY Sun Article TODAY
“Ms. Yingling said the training Scientologists can deduct is not the same as religious education. “The use of the word ‘training’ in Scientology is not analogous to education,” she said. “It’s just another way of advancing spiritually in Scientology.”
Ms Yingling is lying:

my message to Poster#3 above
You could save so much money by going to see a psychiatrist.
Why is it do you think that Hubbard calls them so many thought stopping names?
So you would not find out Psychiatry, Hypnosis and Electricity are what ‘works’ in Scientology
There is no such thing as scientology, that is a lie, go to the source, Did not Hubbard tell you to do that?
Always go to Source!
I went to the sources Hubbard stole from, and told people about it
now they call me names too…
Do you notice a pattern?

To #3 “The alternative is like taking a shotgun and blowing your own head off.” or perhaps sticking a pipe attached to a car’s exhaust and putting in my window? You “thetans” are incredible! I like the idea of Jeff Conaway becoming your new spokesman. Like it or not, anonymous is growing in strength.

This person here is talking about Tom Cruise, in his crazy video. I think it’s safe to assume that it’s either:
a) A troll
b) A very confused scientologist who someone managed to get here oh god how do I get out this is so confusing

The criminal cult of scientology has members convicted of hundreds of millions of dollars in fraud and sent to prison.
Reed Sltkin. http://www.slatkinfraud.com…and many others…Ken Sttiker or instance, fake charities….
some not sent to prison yet include Mike Kobrin and his wife, helena one of the cults attorneys, founding the fraudulent ATEG OTC version of the real company, revealingly involving Col Wm Odom, ex head of NSA….. it is also interesting that a cult incubator founded USBX investment bank, now joint ventured with the CIA’s Carlyle group. its in the SEC filings and on their web sites.
This may account for the support scn has been getting from govt.

At the conclusion of the Sklar appeal to the Ninth Circuit Court, Judge Silverman concluded that, in essence, two wrongs don’t make a right. That is, both Sklar and the Church of Scientology should not have a tax exemption of the kind given by the IRS. His suggestion was that a lawsuit be brought against the IRS forcing them to comply with the 1989 U.S. Supreme Court ruling, denying Scientologists the right to deduct “fixed donations” from their income tax. He states “An IRS closing agreement cannot overrule Congress and the Supreme Court” (Michael Sklar; Marla Sklar, Petioners vs. Commissioner of Internal Revenue, February 27, 2002 Tax Ct. No. 1556-97).
How did the IRS overrule the S.S. Supreme Court? Many have tried to find an answer. Had the time come to call on the Treasury Dpeartment, which controls the IRS, to investigate how it happened? There have been allegations that the Church of Scientology hired investigators to look into the lives of leading IRS officials. One private investigator reported that he turned down $1 million to do so. Other reports alledged that Commissioner Goldberg removed the Exempt Organization from considering the issue, which was its rightful role. It has also been alleged that former Commissioners voiced their concern of the action.
This issue needs to be investigated. Here is contact information:

Some have tried to find a lawyer to handle such a case without luck. Maybe now that the atmosphere is changing, one may be found to do so.

There, my friends, you will see two opposite ends of rational thought. You will see by reading these two posts who is truly free, and who is held captive.
These two posts sum things up nicely, and can help ANYONE decide which way to go.
Look at them both, and decide for yourself.

Oh, the great deed of Scientology’s “Clearing the Planet” of crime, war, and insanity!
That was Hitler’s plan, wasn’t it? Just another few generations of conquest and control, and there would be no more “entheta” … those who are now allowed to speak out will someday be a footnote in Tom Cruise’s “History of Teegeack”
The Scientologist gestapo has instilled fear in the public that those - such as Anonymous - who oppose it are acting similar to the persecution of the Jews. Well, we can see clearly the critics, Anonymous, and Psychiatry play the scapegoat role of the Jew’s in Lafayette Hubbard’s - and now Miscaivage’s - Kampf.
Shall we let their CLEANSING, I mean “Clearing” continue? After all, it is their right to freedom of religion at all costs (and the sum of all costs shall coincidentally be the price in the end) … Hmmm?

the objective of the protest is not to supress but to inform. i hope that if nothing else you can understand this fact. IF we are wrong and you are right, you should not be afraid to prove that. rather then this hatefull generic rhetoric that seems to spew from your mouths at the merest hint of a differing viewpoint
