Jenna Miscavige Hill Helps Out Children Trapped By Scientology With New Site ExScientologyKids.com

I have a YouTube video waiting to go up which mentions Jenna, Astra and Kendra’ s new site Exscientologykids.com, but the internets and YouTube are constantly conspiring against me and I could wait no longer for my video to upload before letting those who are currently trapped inside Scientology know that people are out there to help you.

I have been getting contacted by many, many people who are afraid, but bravely willing to break free from the chains that bind them to the Church of Scientology.

To those still trapped by the Church, please know people care about you.

There are people who’ve been where you are now, Jenna Miscavige for example. Her uncle, David Miscavige, is the head of the Church of Scientology. Jenna, like many people who’ve been inside the Church of Scientology, state it is difficult to leave. Scientology has a process which members must go through in order to leave and part of that process is being declared a “suppressive person” or a “potential trouble source.” These SP’s and PTS have reported being threatened, harassed, disconnected from loved ones still inside the Church, and ultimately cut off completely from their former lives for choosing to leave.

The experience can be distressing, alienating, confusing and for many, disorienting. Now imagine you are a child going through this. In Scientology, they believe children are merely souls — old souls having lived many lives before — simply trapped inside a child’s body. Because of this, Scientology takes no special measures to protect children from traumatic events, such as being separated from loved ones.

Contrary to Scientology’s beliefs, all professions who deal with children, such as pediatricians, counselors, teachers, child psychologists and child development researchers, will tell you children are special. They require different treatment than adults. Their minds and bodies are still developing - and therefore - quite impressionable. It’s not only important, but essential they should be treated with a sense of responsibility, care and concern for their well-being. With this in concern in mind these three brave young women have developed a kid-centric, kid-friendly website to address these concerns.

Please help spread the word so we can reach the people who need to see this.

SCIENTOLOGY KIDS, A Special Message To You:

  1. It has been more than twenty years since the leaders of Scientology were sent to jail in the United States. Even pipsqueak nations like Belgium, France and Germany and sending Scientology leaders to jail. Why does America lag behind in this important area? Can’t we even send Miscavige into hiding like we did Hubbard (for the last ten years of his life)? Maybe once Bush is out of office, the nations leadership will focus on justice for all.

  9. Sal the Bartender — I don’t think you should call countries with rich histories and great people “pipsqueak nations”. Remember who helped America declare independance against the British? France.

Also, thanks for posting this heart-felt article, D. It’s true, we are out there, and we’re very concerned for your safety. We’ll do everything in our power to help you get out, safely and surely.

  11. It takes a lot of courage to stand up against being oppressed. These women are making a huge contribution to ex-scientologists everywhere. Wonderful job ladies!

  13. I’m sure David Miscavige is going around hitting any Freewinds Sea Org peon to relieve the stress of being a laughingstock.

  15. I’m so inspired by what these three young women have done, reaching out to help others who went through the same dreadful treatment they did, and worse. If these women have stories of abuse, imagine the childrenn of rank-and-file members, who aren’t among the leaders, and have less power.

As a mother, reading their stories, what was expected of them, what happened to them, and the way their families disconnected from them when they chose to leave Scientology…. it just makes me cry for the childhoods that they should have had, and didn’t, how much they have lost, forever.

Theirs are personal stories of the damage CoS does to those inside it. When added to the tremendous number of cases of malicious damage CoS has done to those outside it, not incidentally or by rogue individuals, but by the organization itself, it is only reasonable that records be produced, those responsible be held accountable, the “church” be dismantled, and reparations be made to those affected.

    It’s just that simple.

  17. And CO$ says it’s the saviour of humanity…

I’d laugh - but this is just too serious to be taken lightly…

Don’t be afraid - blow, and we will be there for you!

Once again - great writing, D.

  19. Thanks for all that you are doing (also thanks for the great radio program on Sunday, it was awesome and very informative). I am a former member of the cult of $cn and I’m so happy to be free. I live in Clearwater and want to help in any way I can. I know how scary it is to think about “losing” everything by leaving that group. But it can be done and done easily and painlessly.

Did you know that member of the Sea Org are shown a film that tells them and shows them what will happen if they leave? It depicts a homeless person, dirty, hungry, helpless — that’s what they are told they will become if they leave.

  21. You can always believe the exact opposite of CoS propaganda. Homeless, hungry and helpless is what Sea Org members will be if they STAY IN, locked up in an RPF or dumped on a corner with all their possessions in a garbage bag. It is great that kids are being given this chance but I am also concerned about the old Sea Orgs.

  23. I do not know who I am talking to, but I will declare that the harshness, viciousness and hurtfulness that Scientology dishes out is not totally understood by me.

I think that overall they are an incredible institution, inspite of the pain that they have distributed to others including my daughter who was 13 when she went into the Sea Org and 16 when she returned home. I will never truly understand the emotionally violent nature of those in the church, who display this by continuing to destroy peoples lives long after they are gone. Many x-members do not provide any immediate threat to the organization or individuals inside or outside the church, to warrant such obliteration of their lives. Nor will I possibly ever understand what they did to my daughter. I do not understand their lack of compassion for their own parishoners, no matter how many errors that member may have made. Salvation IS available within the Church, and not by the means that you may be familiar. It is different, it is workable, and it is spiritually liberating. That is why I am greatly saddened both for my daughter and myself. We have been denied that avenue to spiritual liberty. That is most dishaeartening of all.
