American Idol’s Danny Noriega’s Christmas Greeting
You know, before I saw the above video of “American Idol” hopeful Danny Noriega I already didn’t like him. Not because he’s a total flaming fruitcake of nonsense, because hey, it takes all kinds to make up the rainbow of life. Nope what I didn’t like about Danny, besides the fact he’s way prettier than I am, is that he’s such a little snotbag sh*t.
The way he rolls his eyes, pours it on for the camera, oozes pettiness and hostility, it’s all the things about today’s teenagers that I despise. His angst is completely insincere. We get it Danny, you are here, you’re queer, you want us to get used to it.
You aren’t the first gay teenager America’s ever seen. You aren’t even the first gay American Idol we’ve ever seen (Hello? Clay Aiken anyone?). Clearly, regardless of the opportunity you’ve been given to perform on the most watched singing talent show in the world, you are obviously pissed off about something in your life. Despite the fact, you are talented, attractive, charismatic and live in a world where you can be as openly “out” there as you want and for the most part, people accept you, you still can’t seem to spare us the drama and immaturity of your flippant insolence.
Also, how dare you crap on Santa and Christmas? This shows me how overly indulgent your parents must have been. They clearly should have spanked you more.
Danny, if you were my son, I’d wash your filthy mouth out with soap. Then I’d put a pretty little pink bow in your hair, some pick lipstick on your pouty little mouth and send you to your room.

He is definitely the contestant I most want to see voted off. Yes, there’s that attiude problem. You’re right about that, D. But there’s also the fact that while he may have good singing ability, he needs at least a year or two more of life experience so he can INTERPRET songs. He’s one of those Idol contestants who doesn’t seem to “feel” what he’s singing, probably because he’s too young and inexperienced in life to understand.
And this video shows how he’s all attitude and no thought. Even combined with awesome pipes (which is not the case here), that’s just not enough for anything more than a shallow performer at bars and cruise ships.

With all due respect, while I agree with you on this video I do not see the need in any way, shape or form to bring Clay Aiken’s name into your post. Having watched season 2 Mr.Aiken NEVER acted in such a manner and his personal life whatever it may be is totally none of your business, and if you were my mother or father I would suggest to you to be sure of your facts before commenting on another human being. Lets hope God is good to you and all your children are perfect otherwise I truly pity them………

Danny is behaving badly, no doubt about it. And I do hope he will be gone soon. But bringing Clay Aiken’s name into it is completely uncalled for. Clay has never behaved in such a manner. Quite the opposite. Shame on you.

Such a poseur attitude, to be angry and not truly understand why. He has no clue what the real world is all about, he just wants to show off his attitude.
Not only does he need a spanking, but his parents do as well. Almost the worst thing you can do to a child is overindulge their attitudes and make them believe they are the center of the universe.
Besides, he’s a dainty little girlie-man. I could pwn him with my littlest pinky finger.

If you want to invoke previous American Idol contestants who are gay, why not name those that have actually said they are like Mario Vazquez, Jim Verros, EJ Day? Your believing that Clay Aiken is gay, just reemphasizes him comments about it doesn’t matter what he says on the matter. He has said he is not gay, but you just choose not to believe him. Your right I guess but there was no need to bring up his name related to this little twerp.

I wasn’t comparing his behavior in any way. Clay was a perfectly respectable contestant and a great singer, I was merely stating there have been other, far more talented and famous, gay Idol contestants. This kid’s nothing special.

You know, I was one of Clay’s staunchest supporters for a long time. I had heard the rumors but I just didn’t believe them.
But after reviewing everything that has gone on, even I have to finally admit that yes…Clay does appear, for all intents and purposes, to be gay.
And just how did this become a discussion about Clay, anyway? We were talking about a fakey attitude-ridden poseur riduculous jerk. At least Clay seems to be fairly nice, while this guy seems to be…not.

What I can’t understand is why, if there is nothing wrong with being gay, do so many strangers make such fun of Clay every single time his name is mentioned?
I personally don’t think he is gay, but that is me. Each of us is entitled to our opinion, including Clay.

Attitudes can change when a person matures and is shown love and acceptance. As for Clay Aiken he is almost 30 years old and the Claymates continue to amaze me the way they hold on to their delusions about the guy. He isn’t even PRETENDING to be straight by ever going on a date with a woman.

Let us please set some issues apart: the gay thing is not the same as the bad singer thing, or the snotty attitude thing.
I agree that Clay Aiken may indeed be gay. However, his behavior on the show was absolutely unimpeachable and his singing was brilliant.
Danny’s behavior has been sassy and snotty, and his singing has been erratic. They are nothing alike.
I think folks are making too big a deal out of the Youtube video, though. It was a preteen prank; we’ve got a whole generation of kids who are blithely leaving their growing pains all over cyberspace, not aware that these things can come back and bit you on the butt. Danny was reportedly quite troubled during that period of his life - a threat to drop out of school. He’s turned some of that around now.
I sincerely hope that when Danny goes home in a couple of weeks, it will be because of his singing, and not because of his effeminate nature or because of some silly video prank he did four or five years ago.

danny noriega is not gay, i looked him up on the internet, him and his dad say he is not gay, some people are just born like that, although him and jason (dreadlocks guy) are extremly hot! danny did get voted off along with my favorite person asia’h epperson, i cryed, but DANNY NORIEGA IS NOT GAY!
