Scientology Celebrates Victory Over IRS, Video Of CoS 1993 Epic Event

I had this in my possession thanks to the wonderful largess of a fabulous person, but was unable to parse it out into the increments needed to upload onto YouTube. By the grace of Yahweh, someone did the hard work for me. Behold ladies and gentlemen, all the glory of David Miscavige celebrating the greatest triumph of the Church of Scientology (besides recruiting Tom Cruise as its mascot) in their epic victory of litigious endeavors ever attempted: winning tax exempt status.

It’s long, but certainly telling. Also, here’s a complete transcript of the event, including color commentary.

Parts 2 - 5 after the jump:

  1. There is no “good” reason why they got a secret tax break even AFTER they were caught infiltrating the IRS and other governmental departments.
Where are the authorities? Too busy tasing unruly schoolchildren?

  3. Oh man,
This HAS to be embarrising for the govt. to have hanging out there flapping in the wind. To be basically threatened and sued into submission by a cult into handing over tax-exempt status…and then see video of them celebrating it.

    Ouch.

It’s not too late to right your wrongs though.
The IRS can be a hero (how often does THAT chance come about?).

  5. Why is it that everytime I see David Mis Cabbage I think of the Movie “Get Shorty”? He’s giving all vertically challenged people a bad name. Momentum is building towards 3/15. Remember Dr. King protesting in the 60’s with people walking arm and arm in PEACEFULL protest. He would be proud of anon.

  7. Part two is way out of sync. Part one seemed fine… are the rest out of sync too? Can it be fixed? Watching Dainty Dave on stage is NEVER great entertainment, but horribly out of sync sound/picture makes it all un-watchable.
