Victoria Beckham To Design A New Line Of Men’s Jeans
And jeans tight enough to show what religion you are need not apply:
She said: “I think guys should wear jeans big and baggy, with a big pair of boots or flip-flops-exactly how you see David when he’s out in his jeans and T-shirt.
“Do not pull them up tight and have your bulge showing. Let it hang!â€
The jeans will come out as part of Beckham’s dVb label. She told men’s fashion website DNR: “These are not skinny jeans. They are what I call proper men’s jeans.
“If you are a man that likes really skinny jeans, very fashiony, this isn’t really the line for you. I didn’t want anything too tight around the crotch.
“That really repulses me. It might be fashionable, but you are not going to get that from dVb.â€
While she’s at it, she gets in a little dig at people who don’t do their fashionista homework:
Beckham, the creative director of the brand, went on: “I’ve used the best Japanese denim, and I think I’ve created a fit that is very flattering and very comfortable.
“I’m a complete control freak and I want everything to be perfect. I’m not doing a Britney Spears and just putting my name on something and saying, ‘Sell this perfume.’
Ooooh, burn. I believe homegirl has a case of the OCD. But she does have a point…if I had my name on something, I’d be sure to know everything about it before I ever let it go out with my signature. People associate it with you. I’d definitely want to make sure the product, be it jeans or perfume or microwave popcorn, was top-notch. Unlike Curious. So anyway:
The jeans, sourced in Asia and Morocco, will retail from $220 to $285 USD, she said. They are expected to be sol
Wait, what? These are still jeans, right? They don’t have diamonds or jewels embedded in them, correct? They are denim, which is basically cotton twill, right? They don’t come with motorized zippers or a pocket full of cash?
And people actually pay prices like this? For jeans?
I think I’ve just met people who annoy me more than Mad Posh.

“Curious” is quite a nice perfume, actually. It won a quite prestigious perfume industry award (the “FiFi Award), and it’s actually produced by Elizabeth Arden. Very well balanced, a nice, light white floral. Very unlike “Fantasy”, which smells like cupcakes in a candy shop, but apparently, that’s what Britney wanted (seriously).
Have you smelled Victoria’s first perfume? There were two, “Intimately Beckham” for men and women. They were both completely and utterly BORING. No character whatsoever. Total snoozefest. I can imagine that Victoria signed off on them, but neither one of them knows anything about fragrances, apparently.
(Yeah, I’m a perfume geek. And “Curious” is the only thing with Britney Spears’ name on it that I own or would have anything to do with, and that includes her other perfumes and her CDs.)
And no, I wouldn’t pay that kind of money for a pair of jeans. I won’t pay that for a bottle of perfume, and I’m a perfumista…

I recently began wearing perfume again after years of not being able to due to allergies and allergic reactions. I’ve amassed quite a little collection.
Call me a snob, but I’ve made it a point to not own any sort of perfume or scent with a celeb’s name on it or one that a celeb has associated with themselves. I also try not to wear those perfumes endorsed by celebs but not created by them, but sometimes you can’t get away from it.
(I know, I have a very weird set of standards I live by)

I refuse to buy anything made by Kimora Simmons (who needs Phat all over your clothes anyway, just wearing them will create that perception I’ve found) or anything by Jessica Simpson or The Olsen Twins.
As for perfumes, I have to admit that Paris has one which smells ok, but I would be afraid to admit to people that I smell like “Paris, no, not the city, the whore with big feet,” so I won’t buy it or any other celeb fragrance. I like Michael Kors scents in case anyone cares. And Fresh makes nice stuff too.
Not that you asked, but you know, now you know.

I like the idea to launch a fashion line of baggy jeans.
I personally like men jeans more than women, they are big and more comfortable.
