simply put:

If you marry a beautiful, successful woman and you have two children with her and then you divorce her to marry a NANNY NOBODY, wouldnt you be depress? in a few years to realize the kind of mistake you made.
If you noticed that is why now Uma only dates men that are more successful than she is, to avoid the negative feelings of an underachiever loser partner, if you notice every single guy she dates now is a millionaire, why do you guys think that is, she wont make the same mistake twice, one Ethan loser in a life time is enough and he realizes what a mistake he made, now Ethan is with another loser no threat to his ego but not even close to what he had with UMA.
the pain of this realization must be unbereable poor dude, i pitty him really.

I love Ethan. I’m sad for him. He was really in love with Uma. Ethan always talked sweet words towards Uma. He made a mistake but people forget that Tarantino used hanging over Uma all the time. I believe that she really strayed before. We know that she overcame fast. As soon as their split Uma ever was dating while Ethan was suffering. Although he look like so sad…Although I don’t like so much Ryan…I think that he does right thing. After all we don’t know Ryan. I hope that she makes Ethan happier. even if it isn’t last.

Hawke must be delusional because he hopped much more of Uma. He was so in love with her. People think about Uma like a Goddess, but she doesn’t. She strayed him before. People insist to talk that only Ethan is guilty. I’m tired to hear …ETHAN HAWKE CHEATED A MORE BEAUTIFUL WOMAN!… It’s dumb thing. Ethan is a excellent actor, a intelligent and beautiful man, a good son, a careful father and a good friend.

i think it was just a bad relationship that produced children and had it not, they would have split much sooner. i’m not sure he wants her back at all. they just were bad to each other and still have bad feelings about it. at least they are good with the children. it’s hard when the parents still hate each other and the children are so young.
