This was a terrible accident, but you are way over the top in your bashing of the Hogans.

Minors like Nick do need responsible parents. The Hogans should have strongly disciplined Nick when his reckless driving became an issue. It was in Nick’s best interests to do so.

However, John Graziano is also an adult. He’s responsible for his own actions and perhaps even for not acting like a mature adult and taking the keys away from his friend when went behind the wheel while impaired.

Young adults do lots of reckless things and sometimes the worst happens. John was a willing participant in that recklessness and his current condition is just as much his own fault as it is Nick’s.

I don’t think the Graziano’s should get a dime more than the Hogans are willing to give for John’s care. I think that should be OBVIOUS to anyone that is viewing this in an unbiased fashion! Unfortunately, most Americans are too stupid to put the responibility where it belongs and the Hogans will probably pay through the nose.

There is a huge difference between feeling sorry for John and his family and saying the entire Hogan family is to blame for the reckless behavior of Nick and John. No one put a gun to John’s head and told him to go racing with Nick like they always do.

i just want to say a few thing…its not just nicks fault, so get off of it, u people act like john had nothing to do with it. then maybe he should have not gone with nick then. when in fact he knew how nick drives and maybe the law should have crack down the celbs. alittle more then what they do. which is BS cause if normal people like me or anyone else our butts would have been locked up from the get go. so please stop ur crying and stop blaming one person. America is becoming a winning crying screwed up country. everyone wants to cry over things that has been going on since god knows when. why dont u people cry about these stupid imigrants that come to our country and damned changes on our money like “In god we trust”, then our pledge. come on! i say screw them and stop changing our country for others.

First of all, I’m proud for my taxpayer money to go to the care of any past or present Armed Forces members. I’d much rather it go for that than some of the other crap it goes for.

I’m not sure if you’re familiar with the VA system, but contrary to popular belief it isn’t the best system in the world. I’ve known vets who must deal with VA hospitals on a regular basis and there is much that ends up being paid out of their own pocket…they either take the medication offered because they can’t afford the right meds, or they just do without because, again, they can’t afford it. It has been reported that John’s bills are already huge and the bills he faces for the rest of his life will undoubtedly run into the millions of dollars.

And if I have my info right (please someone correct me if I am wrong), but Iraq veterans only receive heath care for two years…it used to be lifetime.

Having said that, the VA hospitals so often provide life-saving services to vets who could not otherwise afford their medical needs. Like any medical system here in the US, it is flawed…it has good points and bad points.

At some point he will probably be moved to some sort of long-term care facility.
