Andrew Morton Video Interview With Glosslip - Part 2 - Nicole Kidman Another Victim of Scientology’s “Disconnect” Policy
Part 2 in the series of Glosslip’s interview with Andrew Morton we discuss the disintegration of Tom Cruise’s marriage to Nicole Kidman and what influence Scientology has had on Nicole’s disconnection and separation from her children, Isabella, age 16 and Connor, age 13.
Andrew discussed PTSSP Rundown, a course teen Scientologists are given to during their adolescence which in cases of divorce or separation from parents can in effect cause “disconnect” to take place. Andrew suggests what will happen with Nicole’s children, and what we’ve already witnessed happening to their relationship when Tom left Nicole and she parted ways with Scientology.

Kidman is a victim of a cult’s callous attitude toward parenthood, yet I’ve often seen idiotic comments on celeb gossip sites about what an “ice block” (or similar term) she is. How sad and infuriating.

You realize, of course, marcab, that Kidman has reason to fear she’ll be slimed by the Co$ if she speaks out. The Co$ has all that info they collected from her in auditing or counselling or whatever they choose to call it. That no doubt includes private stuff she’d rather not have the public hear about.

If you read too many gossip mags, like I do, then it’s clear that this “disconnect” is already taking place. More than one interview with Katie Holmes has had her happily claiming that Connor and Isabella call her “Mom”, while Nicole recently said in a unrelated interview that because her kids are “getting older” now, they insist on calling her Nicole.
Reading that just broke my heart. I don’t care what your faith is. It’s a sin to poison a child’s heart against their Mother.

Narcissus….I understand, but its her kids and at some point you have to take a stand. I think someone that big would be good because it would be obvious how evil Co$ is if they retaliate against her for just trying to see her kids….Can’t think that she’d have any “crimes” the world wouldn’t be willing to forgive and forget for having the courage to fight for her kids….

I still think she could have done more to be in their lives, like live in the same city they live in. She seemed to be off filming movie after movie once she and Tom divorced. Also don’t forget that Andrew Morton said in the book that Nicole wasn’t really close to the kids and wasn’t really thought of as a nice person. And no I don’t belong to the COS, there are some people that don’t buy into her victim routine. I’ve also heard that she was a 10 year beard for Tom in exchange for fame in the U.S., and those kids were part of the agreement. I do believe the COS is dangerous and destroys families, but Hollywood never seemed to believe this was a real relationship and family in the first place. I still think the beard story is true and Katie is just his new beard.

As soon as they divorced, Tom rented just near the LA mansion they use to share, therefore they could share the kids easily.
Kidman sold the LA mansion and went to shoot tons of movies.
She is very cold indeed, I think she asked for a huge sum of cash against the kids.
Tom doesn’t care about money, he prefer scientology; Nicole loves money, she spend her time to do commerciales and demands lots of money for her movies.

Ana or is it Anita were you there? Or maybe you are one of Tom’s circle of scieno handlers that follow him everywhere. I don’t blame Nicole from getting as far way from him as possible. Who knows what they said to her or threaten to expose or do to her to keep her quiet. “Fair Game” is rampant in the CoS. Tom has a death grip on those grips sadly and Nicole had very little choice. At least these kids are not subjected to what normal scieno kids are becasue their celebrity status protects. As for making movies etc she needs to earn her living as she is an actress. Tom also made movies in the same time period and left his kids with his scieno handlers yet that’s ok right because he’s Tom F’ing Cruise. I would love to hear from Penelope Cruz since she seem to get out relatively intact yet remains silent. How come?

One of the tensions in the Tom/Nic marriage was always that Nic wanted to be in Australia, near her OWN family, much more. If she had to suffer her marriage blowing up because she dared speak her own needs, it doesn’t make sense that she should then buy a house next door to Tom and never leave just to see her children.
The Nic and Katie stories seem so similar, wide eyed naive starlets signing a Faustian bargain with the charming devil. Sometimes I think, I hope really, and I mean this in all kindness, that Katie really is not the brightest bulb in the tray, she’s not going to be the next Meryl Streep, and perhaps this all really is her happy dream come true. She aspired to be a Stepford wife and now has become one, and perhaps this match of theirs really will work. He got an obedient puppet, and she gets her idol to worship.
