He was the one who was dignified and gracious the whole time, not just when he was trying to use his contacts to raise money. While Piers obviously played the game better, people liked Trace because of his easy going nature and less abrasive attitude towards everyone. Homophobic you say? Well you are ignorant because he was simply taken aback by Piers' using him for a rebuttal against Omarosa. Does that make him homophobic because he was uncomfortable? No, it makes him human.
