Incredibly, RTC rooted around in Lerma’s house for hours, going through office, basement, etc. and trying to make it sound like “federal marshals” did the deed. Part 2 of the video series will cover the search of his basement. Thanks for posting the video here, D!

I would like to know what these “Marshals” are doing now. Are our tax dollars still paying the guy who is seen lounging on the couch?

WikiPedia says this about federal marshals:
“The United States Marshals Service also executes all lawful writs, processes, and orders issued under the authority of the United States, and shall command all necessary assistance to execute its duties.”
I guess they could have deputized all the RTC goons and maybe THAT was why the feds essentially sat around. In the upcoming Part 2, you can hear one of Arnie’s lawyers questioning Kobrin on what gave her the right to carry out the search.
