His Highness Hollywood, Ian Halperin, Issues Challenge To Oprah For Tom Cruise Special
Glosslip contacted “His Highness”, Ian Halperin, to get a response about Tom Cruise’s upcoming Oprah appearance [May 5], and “his Highness,” who has met Oprah personally on several occasions [I've seen pictures] challenges Oprah to have the courage to give “His Highness,” Andrew Morton and Glosslip’s, Dawn Olsen seats at the taping on the second day in Chicago. The first taping will be at Cruise’s estate in Malibu.
Halperin said he will give everyone in the audience a signed copy of Hollywood Undercover and a signed copy of the film “High Highness Hollywood”, plus he’ll give to Oprah the gold bow tie he wore during the film, “His Highness” so she can auction it off for charity.
Halperin told Glosslip:
“I am actually a big fan of Tom Cruise and of Oprah, and if either of them are as spiritual and as open as they portray themselves in the media, then they will allow us to take part in the show’s question period to allow us to get to the bottom of Cruise’s seemingly bizarre behavior documented within the media over the last few years.”
Halperin then added a further message to Oprah:
“Oprah, please be open to this, it’s a chance for you to show that you are a fair person. And by the way, you looked extremely hot in that track suit you were wearing the last time I saw you in New York. Oprah, this your chance to show the world how fair you are.”
Well, you heard it straight from Glosslip, “His Highness” wants a shot a clearing the air, and maybe if I am lucky, I will get to take a seat on Oprah’s couch. We will keep you updated on this situation.

wow, tom on oprah on May 5- go figure. that was the worst day of my life in 2001. I got arrested for underage possesion of alcohol and released from detox only to find an abulance in my drive way containing my father’s dead body. YEAH SCIENTOLOGY! GO TOM CRUISE! go fight win! go TEAM! YEAH!

please bombard Oprah’s site with this story - maybe she’ll have the decency to take His Highness up on his important challenge. Dawn, keep up the amazing work!!!

I can understand Oprah wanting Morton and Halperin on his site but why would she want you, Dawn? You haven’t actually provided any kind of insight into scientlogy, you’ve simply continued to hitch a ride with those who actually do all the work, research on scientology. Let’s be honest, you have nothing to offer. You simply collate news.

With all due respect Anon, Dawn will be able to report on it all and document it. She’s great at that and has been an incredible voice against COS. Show some respect - she shows it to you.

Wow, pretty sure you aren’t anonymous, other than not using your own name. I will ignore you troll. Not to mention, I was reporting Ian’s statement. It wasn’t my idea, but his. I think it was also meant to be a tongue in cheek on his part, the whole thing, not just me.
Now, you better go check your stats Scilon, the week’s just beginning for you and you’ve already failed.
UPDATE: Yep, same Scilon troll using same IP address as all the others. Better learn to use the internets better my friend.
We’ll be here for you when you blow. We care about you.

You have to forgive their crappy internet-fu, Dawn. LRH’s tech expired in the mid 70s; after then he was just incoherent and an embarrassment (not to mention a wanted felon).
So they’re not too good at this whole ‘technology’ thing. I mean, seriously, a few anons just took an overview of their IT infrastructure from public records and it looks….halfassed and laughable. Many of their orgs have open wifi hotspots.
Caling their crap ‘tech’ is an insult to Betamax.

Oprah is being wooed by the church. First it was by Kirsty Alley, who now has a 5 year contract weight loss program sponsored by Oprah’s company. Now you have Cruise coming back for the first timesince the coyuch jumping thingty. This means that there have been one or more previous meetings, calls , attempts to resolve their ‘upset’ more likely starting with Kirsty for the benefit of Tom, and then Tom doing the same thing, all for the purpose of bolstering the church ’s PR. We can hope& pray Oprah will be fair and allow this to happen but Cruise won’t show if you 3 are there. Anyone want to place bets? , lol!
ps: Comment by ‘ Anon — April 25, 2008 @ 9:02 pm ‘ rude at minimum and seemingly spam. Consider trashing it, Dawn. It distracts from the column and thread here. You don’;t have to explain all that you have done, to one ignorant smart aleck.

Re. # 6, LOL! Nicely put. Thanks, I needed the laugh.

Oprah has never really cared about being “fair”. She cares about ratings and money and how many people she can drag into her delusions of grandeur. She’s her own LRon and she’s been building her church for years.

ditto joanie.
Oprah is usually very careful not offend her audience..so i wonder how this will play. My bet, no substance, she will avoid all contoversy.
Imnsho.

Well Dawn, obviously that OSA plant isn’t behind 7 proxies as per Anon training at the RCKROL Institute. L2Troll, Scilon. As to what she’s contributed to the cause of Anonymous going against the Co$, how does setting up several interviews with well-known critics of the Co$ sound? How about putting herself out there to potentially be taken down if she gets too close to home with her active reporting? Swing and a miss, plant.
As to what she has actually been doing in regards to whether or not she deserves to be present at the actual show, I believe that the media is a core asset to getting people to pay attention to things that they would otherwise not give a horse’s arse about (I.E., some people wearing Guy Fawkes masks and protesting some random religion/cult/hot dog stand). Since Ms. Olsen is, as anyone following Glosslip over the last few months can tell you, keeping very close tabs on Anon and their Kampf, she is one of the best people to have on hand should there be any extra questions in regards to what Anonymous has been doing, no offense to Mr. “His Highness” Halperin, nor to Mr. Morton.
The fact of the matter is that a bio on Tom Cruise, while potentially chock full of Scientology references, would probably focus more on the whole of his life than this particular chapter of Anonymous vs. the Church of $cientology. Dawn has been a giant boon to the good intentions of Anonymous, and respects our history in regards to the goings on of what we were doing before we decided to take on the Co$. The excellent fact-checking and observations garner her a great deal of not only respect, but credibility and a boatload of insight. Anyone who says otherwise needs to lurk moar or gb2 RPF and statup quick so you can get off the bench and provide more lulz. Come back, Terryeo! Come back! We miss you!
