Under the layer of paint I noticed a powdery blue fibrous substance approximately 1 ½” thick between the paint and the steel wall. I told him I thought it was asbestos, which is a hazardous substance, and the fibers must not be allowed to go airborne. Steve said that he didn’t think it was asbestos and it wasn’t dangerous.
