Mariah Carey Weds After One-Month Relationship

And get this…she done went and got hitched without a prenup, to a man eleven years younger than she is. Yes, reports are that Mariah and Nick Cannon got married yesterday, and nobody even saw it coming:
Carey married TV actor Nick Cannon at the home she just bought in Eleuthera in the Bahamas, a source close to the singer said.
“They have been smitten with each other for days, weeks,” the friend said. “And she’s always had a crush on him.”
And about that absent prenup thing? Apparently, they were in too much of a rush to get married to worry about it:
“Everyone is happy to see her happy,” Carey’s friend told The Post. “And it could work out - some people know each other for five years and get divorced. Maybe this is true, instant love.”
Not everyone is so over the moon.
“There was no prenup - there wasn’t time,” said another worried source.
You’d think that someone who has been around the business as long as Mariah has (and with one divorce already under her belt) would know better than to get married without a prenuptial agreement. If they were able to keep things under wraps so well thus far, then what was the big rush? I might say it’s the tried-and-true reason that most people rush weddings (that Cannon shot her full of lead, if you get my drift), but everybody knows that she’d feel too “violated” to get pregnant. And we wouldn’t want to steal the spotlight from Mariah, would we? Stock up on those Trojans now, Nick!
I don’t care about the age difference thing, but for someone as wealthy as Mariah to marry without a prenup is pretty foolish. She’s been through this once…she should know that sometimes it isn’t always “true love”.
Well, I hope Nick can learn to sleep in a room where there are twenty humidifiers surrounding the bed. That is, when he isn’t lining her path with scented candles and a red carpet. Wonder if she’ll let him use the Hello Kitty bathroom?
Good luck, buddy…you’re gonna need it.

Isn’t she Bipolar? I remember a few year ago she went a little crazy and she spent a month or so in the same UCLA facility where Britney Spears was recently treated.
Anyway, getting married on the spur of the moment to a man you don’t know that well without a prenup seems like a mania thing to me.

She did spend some time in the hospital. I’m not so sure she isn’t still dealing with some issues, and if she is I hope she has them under control.
Yeah, it doesn’t seem like the smartest thing in the world. Not sure she thought this one out.

Holymoly. Is it April 1st? Hope this works out for her and her bank account.
If it doesn’t work out, I call that she will claim that she did it under duress.

I don’t know…are you seeing something I am not?
I was more wondering what is wrong with her side. It looks a little bumpy. Of course, this photo is from 2005.

I’m kind of curious, why does anyone care about Mariah Carey anymore? -Does- anyone except the small handful of black musicians she hasn’t slept with yet care? Other than as a subject of ridicule, when was she last relevant?
For that matter, when was Nick Cannon last relevant?

Apparently, her singles are up there in sales with the Beatles, according to what I just saw on TV. Whoodathunk? That surprised me. But I wonder what kind of songs she’ll sing when she is too old to peddle the overt sex angle?

What the singles she made when she was still fat and wore flannel shirts? That’s the last time I remember her putting out any music that didn’t nosedive like a Tijuana hooker into a mountain of coke.
As for what she’ll be singing, it’s the same crap she’s been singing for the last ten years. I’m convinced that it’s the same album over and over, but no one listens closely enough to notice. Those few who do are rendered deaf by the screeching cat-in-a-boiler sound she calls talent.

I mentioned that on the BTR Radio show yesterday…that not only are her songs screechingly awful, but she’s ruined music as we know it because people who don’t know better think “volume=talent”.
I recently attended a competition where young singers performed, and the ones who won had the “Mariah Syndrome”…where they had two volumes, loud and louder. The judges were obviously blinded by it (and no, my kids were not involved in the singing part of the competition). A great set of pipes that allow you to project have nothing to do with talent.
It just means you’re really, really loud.

k: I must be old, I remember when ’singing talent’ meant you could hold a single note, as opposed to sliding up and down the scale like a spastic retard at a xylophone.
I say we’ll see their homemade porn in a year, tops.
