It Seems The Church of Scientology Is Back To Old Black PR Tricks

Please watch the above video and as always, use caution when talking to anyone representing the “media” at Anonymous events. Scientology may be crazy, but they are NOT stupid. Fortunately, Anonymous pwns the internet.

  1. To any of us who are talking to the media, I suggest a high level of caution. At these protests, many of us are armed with Video cameras. If someone asks to interview you, try to have another Anon video tape the entire interview as well. Having our own copy will go along way in preventing clever editing of our own words. It’s easy enough for them to do, especially since most of our masks cover our mouths and they dont have to match any lip movements. This should not discourage anyone from talking to the media, but rather make us more aware of who we are actually speaking TO.

  6. It makes no sense for any Anonymous to allow themselves to be “interviewed” on camera by scilons– we all know they don’t want to ge the truth out and will edit the video in fraudulent fashion.

    ASK FOR PRESS CREDENTIALS regarding any supposed press interview. The question is, are we in this to win or to lose? Sun Tzu would be turning in his grave if he knew we were placing ourselves in a situation where we give ammo to the enemy without any advantage to ourselves in return.

    If we have a second copy of all the interviews, that would be our advantage. When CO$ edites the tapes for their nefarious purposes, we will have the originals to expose them.

    Perhaps not that simple. The original video mentions the use of press stringers. Stringers have an ongoing relationship with one or more press entities and therefore may have entirely authentic and legitimate credentials; the real problem is that they may be (perhaps for one reason, perhaps for another) pursuing an “angle” of Anonymous-the-scary-threatening-terrorists. It may not even be for ulterior motives; some journalists still have not clued in that reporting a situation fairly does not mean “reporting as if all parties are equally credible” and may think they have to scrape up material trying to support the CoS’ claim that Anonymous are terrorists simply because that’s the CoS’ claim.
