Hi. I’m felinonymous. And I am a breast cancer survivor.
On Mother’s Day where I am- and possibly where you are too, the Susan G. Komen for a Cure ran, walked, and even slept in for a cure. A cure for breast cancer.
Today, we know that early detection is a key element to survival. We know that intervention at Stages 1 and 2 are better than fighting from behind the eight-ball at stages 3 and 4. We have reached a place where it is quite alright to proudly stand up and say, “I am a survivorâ€. It hasn’t always been that way.
Once upon a time, a person with breast cancer had to deal with a certain stigma. And it certainly wasn’t talked about. There were no fund raisers to try to encourage or even jump start education and research. It was hidden firmly in the bra drawer so that no one could see.
That changed.
Today, I can cite all of the statistics and tell men (yes, men get it too) and women what they need to do to educate themselves. I can tell you how many people will be diagnosed (within a statistical probability) and how many will die. I can tell you about the joys of chemo and how to get through it. I can arm you to survive. But there is something I can’t do. I can’t make you do a self exam. I can’t make you have a yearly mammogram if you are over 40 or have a history of cancer in your family. And I can’t insist that you choose mastectomy, chemo and possibly radiation. Sometimes, often even, I wish I could.
A friend of mine made a choice to die of breast cancer because she didn’t want to lose her breasts. That was very painful to her friends because we SO wanted her to continue to brighten our lives. But she was diagnosed late in the disease and her oncologist couldn’t even give her 50/50 odds if she opted for aggressive treatment. So she chose to let it go. It was a hard choice. She had a teenaged son at the time and was really committed to surviving until he was a man. She made it that far.
As we fight together against the crimes of Scientology, I would like to share with you a crime that we can too easily miss. The crime of failing to treat, or even have an awareness of, disease that can be managed. Diseases like cancer.
We all know about the presence of blue asbestos on the F(r)eewinds. Many of us, me included, want to do all we can to insure that anyone exposed at least has the choice to be tested and monitored by a doctor. The earlier that a problem is identified, the earlier curative measures can be used successfully. We all want that word out so that people who are at great risk can act to save their own lives.
What we don’t have visibility to is the numbers of Scientologists that die every year because they truly believed that their faith would cure them. That their OT level was going to make the cancer go away. That it couldn’t happen to them.
Gabriella Bramucci thought that when she died of breast cancer. So did Nancy Graham and Sue Mueller. Here are Hubbard’s thoughts about cancer: In Hubbard’s 1975 edition of his book, History of Man, Hubbard wrote on page 20, “Cancer has been eradicated by auditing out conception and mitosis.” This, and similar claims for other illness in Hubbard’s DMSMH, may have helped to bring about the disregard for the medical doctor. In the recent edition of the same Hubbard book, History of Man, which, ironically occurred after Hubbard’s death, a rewrite of the statement above occurs, saying, “Cancer has reportedly been eradicated by auditing out conception and mitosis.” There is no accompanying statement in the recent edition of the book saying that Hubbard authorized the change prior to his death, which he would have had to do for the change to be valid.

Here’s Carol’s story from the same source. I am including the point numbers so that you can find the references easily.
233. Another Sea Org member who died of cancer was Carol. She developed breast cancer after joining the Sea Org. She told me that she did not report it because she believed that auditing would cure it. She also did not want to bother anyone.
234. Carol never received medical treatment for the cancer. She never got regular PAP smears and mammograms.
235. In the late 1970s, after the cancer became terminal, Carol was hospitalized. Because I had an RN degree, Cathy Heard, a GO staff member, assigned me to take Carol home to her parents in England to die there. Cathy said she could not die in Clearwater as it would be bad PR for Scientology and the Sea Org.
222. Carol looked terrible when I saw her. She had lost fifty pounds, was very weak and her mind was wandering. She pleaded to stay in Clearwater because she did not want to go back to her family. I told Cathy but the request was ignored.
236. The hospital nurses said Carol could not travel in her condition, particularly as she did not want to. Her x-rays showed the cancer spread throughout her body into all major organs. Cathy instructed me to give the nurses a “shore story” saying Carol’s parents wanted her to visit them for years, that Carol had disobeyed them for years, that they were now demanding her return, and we had found out and were desperately trying to intercede before it was too late. After hearing the story, the nurses became very helpful.
237. Her parents were very happy to see Carol though shocked at her condition. The family doctor was so disgusted after I gave him the medical reports the next day, and that Carol traveled while critically ill, that he refused to talk to me thereafter. The parents were very grateful that I had helped Carol get home. I stayed in England with the family for a week. Carol slept most of the time - she was too weak to get out of bed.
238. I then flew back to Clearwater and debriefed. I was deeply disturbed by the experience. Ironically, I was assigned a condition of “power” by Cathy and Liz for successfully handling a potentially dangerous and sensitive situation. Carol’s death was not known about in Clearwater. For years afterward, I wondered if there was more to Carol’s death than I knew. Because death is natural. It shouldn’t be a “dangerous” or “sensitive” situation.
Cancer survivors count their “Survival-daysâ€. Not in days but in years that they have survived. This year, I turn five. Five years since I battled the ever-present “Beast under the bedâ€. Five years since I had to make a choice that re-defines you when you make it on life or death terms: “What matters most?â€
For my friend, what mattered most was taking the informed risk that not aggressively managing her cancer would result in her death. And choosing that regardless. Believing that even if she did everything that was suggested, she would end up living less. And that it was more important to be more alive for her son while he was vulnerable and not after he didn’t need her any longer. I didn’t agree with her in life but proudly wear her name in the breast cancer awareness walks I participate in. I understand that she had to choose her own path.
But I read about these women of Scientology and my heart breaks. They didn’t have choices, really. They never knew if a procedure and drug therapy would have kept them alive. They applied the tech and the tech simply did not work. Big surprise.
On Mother’s Day I got up and walked three miles as a part of a visible plea for awareness. And as usual, I was covered in pink ribbons- survivors and angels. The ones who have gone before. My Aunt is an angel- she died of breast cancer when it was not okay to even acknowledge that one HAD breasts. When her breast cancer was discovered, it was already in the lymph and she was stage three. Because of that, I was early stage two when mine was caught.
In the Fall, I will walk 60 miles in three days to raise awareness of breast cancer. There will be new angels walking with me on that walk. They will unfortunately be the people inside Scientology who haven’t yet learned that the tech can’t cure cancer.

How tragic it is to unnecessarily lose loved ones because a cult intimidates its members into adherence to a policy that all illness results from one’s own “failure” to properly apply the “tech.”
Its incomprehensible to me how this “church” has not yet been prohibited from making those claims, intimidating its members, and costing people their lives as a result.
Breast cancer and many other cancers are treatable, curable illnesses that are in no way the fault of the afflicted. For anything to come between these victims and proper medical care is nothing short of criminal, particularly when the same amount of money applied not to the hideously expensive “auditing” and Scientology training could be used to pay for effective, peer-reviewed and established treatments.
The FDA won’t let food manufacturers and marketers claim to lower cholesterol without proof, and are very harsh on those who falsely claim to “prevent heart disease.” Yet on a daily basis, Scientologists are needlessly dying from preventable and curable illnesses, with no oversight from governmental authorities.
Something can, and should, be done about it.

So with the clever changes in the “holy scripture” Scientologists will still have the impression that cancer can be cured through their “tech” but the upper management will avoid the lawsuits.

The problem I believe is Scientology claims of being a religion and its very aggressive nature. IF anybody speaks out against scientology, the church plays the religious discrimination card as a shield and attack with lawsuits backed by millions.
Consequently most people and nearly all organizations will keep their distance. Better to leave the hyena pack alone (and roaming wild) than to invite trouble by antagonizing it. I am inclined to believe that Scientology’s victory over the IRS and Times Magazine taught the government and mass media respectively to back off and back down.
This is probably how the organisation of scientology can make their medical claims and their drug treatment claims with Narconon. The scientific papers Scientology cites to back up its claims when it does (at least concerning with treatment of substance abuse) are bad. Any trained scientist would tear those papers apart.
I don’t known if this is possible, but we do need an estimate on many people have died in Scientology because medical intervention was withheld. While not as dramatic I think a larger number of scientologist put off medical intervention longer then any normal person, probably resulting in poorer prognosis.
Lastly, Scientology truly is an evil organisation of James Bond proportions. This ‘wonderland’ hole just keeps getting deeper. The kind of cancer death describe is very very painful. I have to question, if homicide charges can made.
PS. Forgive me, but I have had the most morbid of thoughts. Do members of Scientology will away their earthly belongings to the church as a standard practice?

JCK, I have been trying to compile that information for some time. The challenge I have is that there are no records that I can go to. What I have had to do is seek out death records to substantiate information found in other sources. But I am pretty persistent.
The day will come when we are able to declare statistically that Scientology has a greater number of deaths than general society. Right now I believe that to be the truth. I just have to prove it.

I think it was Tory in one of the old LMT videos
talking about 6 kids she new of alone. And there was at least one other women I don’t remember who but LMT video knew of 4 kid’s. There are a lot more obviously but Tory will be a good start.

felinonymous, I applaud you and your courage. Your article brought tears to my eyes. My family has a history of cancer. My great aunt died of breast cancer when I was in 4th grade. In 2003, my fiancee was diagnosed with B-Type Lymphoma. He’s in full remission now, but I’ve never had a scarier time in my life then those moments. It just makes it harder to imagine what Scientologists with cancer are going through.

When the book Expanded or New Era Dianetics was released in the early 70’s the conception doing the rounds at such time was that cancer was the result of ‘evil intentions’
The idea was to audit these overts & witholds of evil intentions out & I still to this day have such concept as part of my ideas.
Ron hubbard apparently had a cancerous growth somewhere on his face before his death.

Katie DeCosin was a scientologists.
When it was discovered that she had breast cancer, scientology told her to “go walk on the beach and think about what YOU did to pull it in”.
She was encouraged to forgo traditional treatment in favor of “auditing” and “purification rundown” to “handle” her cancer.
when Katie became too ill to produce money for the COS she was “offloaded” (a scientology practice of getting rid of those who are not “able”).
Katie’s family came to Clearwater Fl. to take her home to Pa.. She was immediately put into Hospice and died there. Katie was 48.

I appreciate the article and comments. I had no idea that the CoS expect and require their membership to deny themselves proven medical treatment. It’s a sad state of affairs when people long so much to have a sense of belonging to a group that they’ll be duped to listen to others whose self-serving desires are so powerful that they successfully thwart what I would think is just common sense.

I have a friend who left behind three beautiful children and a loving husband because of untreated breast cancer. She was a Scientologist.
My family member, also a Scientologist, died from cancer, much too young. He did get medical treatment, but not agressively enough due to lack of finances and a wishful belief in natural remedies. The church’s constant insistance that he show up for healing assists put a lot of extra pressure on him when it was all he could do survive. He had just undergone major surgery, was enduring the nasty effects of chemotherapy, was trying to keep up with Dr. appointments and treatment schedules while working much too hard to prevent a total financial disaster, and yet he wasted hour upon hour going to the org. If he wasn’t having assists run on him, he was being put through the ringer about why he wasn’t rested enough for an assist, or didn’t show up for an earlier assist. He was expected to come in daily, or close to it. In stead of helping him, it added a great deal of stress to the last part of his life. They had no idea how much their attempt to help him actually harmed him because they were unable to sanely look at his condition and understand his tenuous situation. They were convinced that what they were doing for him was saving his life, and that is exactly how much pressure they put on him to show up.

I came into Scientology at a young age & my implantation or education indoctrinated me with the ideas that evil intentions are what causes cancer.
Like a drug addict or alcoholic having been in Scientology for a very long time becomes at the time of leaving the subject SA or Scientologist anonymous like AA alcoholic anonymous that requires staying off the subject no longer consuming its knowledge.

Moneen, my heart goes out to you because I am hearing you say that you were taught misinformation at an age so young that the misinformation is now an intrinsic part of your thinking.
Cancer is a genetic thing. Some cancers are environmental things. But evil intention does not cause cancer. If that were a truth, David Miscavaige would be cancer ridden for all the horrible things he has done to Scientologists and Scientology itself,
What is important for you now, stepping away from Scientology, is to choose to make awareness a part of your life and teach yourself that not ALL drugs are bad. I know that will be a difficult process. But I also know that it will be a freeing process.

I wish this was propaganda bullshit. The way Carol died was very painful and slow. I would not wish that kind of lingering death on anybody.
What felinonymus has reported, was the little considered but logical progression of L. Ron Hubbard’s teachings. Scientology claims (and probably teaches) that ailments like coronary disease, high blood pressure, arthritis, cancer and diabetes are psychosomatic. Since all these ailments are only in the mind, willing it away is possible. Conventional medical intervention is thus not required.
The outcome from this belief, as felinonymus has reported, is that the Scientologist will delay or worst avoid conventional medical treatment, even in the face of something as life threatening as cancer, a disease that frightens the public’s collective mind. Thus the decision to avoid medical treatment by Scientologist is shocking to non believers.
And when cancer suffers are ‘handled’ by quite disposal, we are again shocked. Perhaps only because, we are taught and expected to rally and support a sick member of our group. I wish this was bullshit. But avoidance of medical treatment is a logical progression of Hubbards teachings and thoughts regarding diseases.
Since reading felinonymus reported, I have examined the logical progression of other teachings by Hubbard. Lucky for us Scientology does not run our nuclear power plants (and nobody believes him a nuclear physicist). In the 1950s, Hubbard believed that mixture of vitamin C, B and Niacin (called Diaanzene) could treated radiation sickness and to a degree made the human body resistant to radiation. Hubbard also believed that diaanzene prevented cancer.
In 1958 the FDA seize and destroyed, 21,000 Dianazene tablets from a Scientology company because they were falsely labeled as a preventative and treatment for radiation sickness. So there were attempts by Scientology to market Diaazene, probably cashing on nuclear fallout fears.

While I appreciate your opposition to Scientology, Ronbot Hunter, I’ve seen your same copypasta all over anti-Scn articles and DON’T appreciate you using the anti-Scn movement as your own personal storefront.
In all actuality, I’ve read your page and there are some very suspect statements on it. Very much a conspiracy theorist vibe mixed with new-agey homeopathics and “L. Ron” tech for good measure. Granted, at around $40 it’s a lot cheaper than Scientology. But one has to wonder what “support” you’re offering while learning the “methods”
All in all, it just sounds like more cultie nonsense and I’d venture to guess that it’s not welcome here.

Louanne, I DID write the article. And I will continue to write articles like this until there is no longer a NEED to communicate awareness.
By ignoring treatable cancer until it reaches a point of being NOT treatable, a person is literally sacrificing their life. My friend made that choice. But her cancer wasn’t treatable when it was found. Still, she had the OPTION of using the methods available- mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation. Scientologists routinely DON’T get that option. When any care at all is received, it is frequently poor and palliative at best. At worst, the Scientologist simply dies. Ever see someone in late stage cancer? I have. It is absolutely horrifying to see. The pain is often so great that no drug can relieve it.
Sorry you don’t care for the subject matter, Louanne. I don’t care. I’m sure that there are others for whom the subject is too great, too painful to want to read about. But if ONE person walks away from reading this and schedules a mammogram or starts doing self exam or goes to any number of websites that teach cancer awareness, I have accomplished my task. Cancer isn’t pretty. It’s a tough subject to talk about. But ignoring it is not the answer. Awareness is. Knowledge is.
May you never have to face cancer in your lifetime.

Ron studied Physiological reactions more than most scientists and applied it to invent a new Religion.
He did not invent but copied the laws of nature and scammed the whole world into thinking that he alone discovered these reactions and no one else did. What he did do was noticed the reactions of students and from this scam invented Dianetics “study tech”.

Falling asleep while reading - yawning, confusion, feeling blank, feeling anxious, not there feeling, tearing eyes, eyes going out of focus, dizziness, reeling, rebelliousness, headaches, skipping words, feeling nauseous, fidgeting, jumpy while reading, can’t stay still, mispronouncing words, feeling as if you are squashed, feeling as if you are over-whelmed, twitching, can’t apply what you are reading, can’t understand what you are reading, etc. are all due to physiological reactions when you read misunderstood words or misunderstood definitions.
THE NEW WAY TO DEFECT ANY AND EVERY CULT THAT ATTACKS YOU
In Commerce, Truth is Sovereign and supreme.
Any ex-scientologist or person who wants to defeat them need to know that there are a group of people in the USA that try to expose the crimes of our own government—they are call sovereignty groups. Or patriots or anti-government sites etc.
But the truth is that they do teach people many truths not known by the general public.
One of these methods is how to strike back when the government abuses their rights.
The method I like the best is the UCC method of using the common law or what was once called Constitution Law before this government changed it into Statutory Law and Case Law made by the judges themselves.
Remember this well known fact: Judges, politicians and Lawyer Politicians and lawyers can and are bought all the time—now they are inventing new laws to suit their rich masters.
There are from 50,000 to 75,000 Anti-self-defense or so call Gun Laws, in the USA right now and growing each year.
[The words “government” is replaced with “scientology” to help you understand what can be done to stop the cult.]
These sovereigns can and do use the commercial UCC method to “accept for value” each scientology attack that will bring a “common law” UCC claim/s against them and ruin them and ruin each high profile cult member for life.
Every attack from Scientology is a commercial “PRESENTMENT” and can be accepted for value. That means that now they have to prove you are a real SP and they have to prove you have ALL the 12 attributes with actual PROOF to back up their claims or you can file a claim against the Church and any Staff-Member who dares be a party to false claims against you.
The cult, when it attacks you has to PROVE everything or they will loose commercially and make you rich.
Each Anti-cult person that is classed as an SP can bring a commercial claim against the cult and the cult CAN”T remove the UCC lien which will be the end result. It then must pay or be ruined—that includes Ronbots.
You will be able to learn that in a statutory court, you have no rights since it is run under laws that are in treason to the Constitution. You must learn to reserve your commercial and Constitution rights to defeat Ronbot lawyers.
When you know HOW to reserve your rights under the UCC — In any civil court they will need to show a contract that you violated when you reserve your rights and know what I mean. It is all on the sovereignty websites for you to learn.
You need to educate anti-scientologists on the UCC and how this government is really run—once that is done Scientology will fall.
They can use the secrets of how Ron discovered dianetics and how he used the laws of nature as the base for his lies and scams.
They can study sovereignty websites and learn the way to bring UCC claims on all the head staff of each Center or Org. Recommended as the way to bring down the cult in one year!!!
Since the US is running on admiralty laws which are commercial, they can use these same methods to bring down the cult of the devil Ron.
Ex-scientologists know that to win they must ATTACK and ATTACK the cult, BUT They have no idea of how to stop it. If they only knew two words and how Ron hid that knowledge from the world and used it to invent a so called “Religion” and that its copyrights are now owned by ex-IRS goons, they would be able to win for once.
The words you won’t want to know if you are a ronbot are “Physiological Reactions” of the mind and body. An anti-cult member will learn how Ron discovered and claimed the laws of God as his own inventions.
Once this penetrates into their/your brain/s, then you/they will know how to stop Scientology and all its scams.
Tell and email this info to your friends and anti-cult websites and tell them for me that they are wasting their time attacking Scientology the old way—use the deep down truth to stop the black heart of Ron and the world will win.

Power Comes From Knowledge of The Enemy
Ronbot is a pejorative term for some or all followers of Scientology. The term is a pun on Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard’s first name and the word robot.
The term Ronbot is meant to express the habit of Scientologists of being so programmed with the “Tech” that they can’t express their own viewpoints on life, because that has been suppressed and prohibited of them from doing so.
The Ronbot never doubts any thing he is told by staff, never investigates, never thinks beyond what he is told, never seeks to know more than he is permitted to know, never refuses to turn on his family, never reads what he is told not to read, never refuses to hurt the feelings of his family, never refuses to kill the love he had for his family, never doubts PTS or SP data, never seeks other ways to heal any symptom, never wonders why he is so fanatical and why? Never wonders why he hates SPs, and is willing to kill for the tech. Never refuses to hurt, damage or harm an SP, never doubts he is superior to us, never refuses to obey his masters on staff, etc.
Ex-scientologists view a Ronbot as a brainwashed Robot, since he can’t ever leave the Tech and express his own view points.
His reading material, his TV viewing and his interpersonal relationships and what he says and the way he talks, are closely monitored by other Ronbot Staff. If they discover that he went out with or talked with an SP and read material from Anti-cult websites, he is in deep trouble and must now face an ethics review.
He in fact does not have his own viewpoints, but just thinks so. His mind is so flooded with the Tech that to speak to, associate with, date or love a person who is classed as an SP is instant insanity (drastic down-tone slide) and he will be classed by the Cult as a “risk” or PTS.
Remember this fact—that all true Ronbots have a weak mind and spirit. They are actually very willing to be a slave of the Tech without question.
In the CULT OF SCIENTOLOGY YOU HAVE NO CONSTITUTION RIGHTS SUCH AS FREE SPEECH – you are told what to think, do and say. Your actions, your friends your relations, your books, and everything else you can think about is RESTRICTED to their approval.
YOUR NOT A FREE MAN OR WOMAN ABLE to do as you please at home, read what you please at home, your TV has a little censorship lock on it.
Even your thoughts and innermost secrets are investigated and if they are considered wrong or un-approved by your ETHICS OFFICER you are taken (scammed) for more money.
The Ronbot was told that “suppression is illness and illness is suppression”, therefore he thinks that all illnesses come only from suppression or a PTS condition.
Remember that Ronbots are told that “all illnesses to a greater or lesser degree are due to only a PTS condition”. Any illness or symptom makes a Ronbot turn on anyone he was near in the past 72 hours. He is programmed to believe that his Mother or Father now is a Monster called a“SP” or “Suppressive Person.
He is never given the facts on “symptom re-stimulations”. He is never told about it being a physiological reaction, he is never told that all symptoms and illnesses are physiological reactions and that some symptoms can be re-stimulated by stress and arguments. And that symptoms are never the same for all; because every one has different deficiencies and different levels of toxins in their body, that will bring out a different symptom each time he is argued with.
In his weak brain-washed mind, he can’t ever accept that legal and illegal drugs, chemicals, parasites, toxins, toxic plants, or poisonous animals or insects, poisons, viruses or bacteria or over acidity etc., are the only and true causes of illnesses in the world. His mind rejects these well known facts as SP propaganda.
When he faces you in the street—he can’t see you, he can only see what is programmed into his brain-washed head. To him, you are the SP monster who is no better than his SP father or SP mother he turned his back on and now hates and/or distrusts.
He is not free to think for himself–therefore he is a ronbot.
It is senseless to argue with a Ronbot—he needs de-programming—he needs to be told he is a Robot and that he can’t pull the plug and reset his brain. Do not confront a Ronbot the old way – just pity him and dare him to talk with you about how Physiological Reactions are connected to study tech.
Dare him to have a friendly conversation with you—the more of a Ronbot he is – the more he will be afraid to go to ethics for daring to talk with an SP.
The programming that he has received will force him to ask for your sins and secrets. He sincerely believes that you are against the Cult ONLY because you have sins of omission and commission.
Explain to him that he has sins and secrets too and that you would like to know his first, since he brought up the issue first. But don’t ask to hear them as a treat or condition to talk with him—if he refuses to give you his own sins and secrets—let it pass as long as he is willing to talk with you.
Do not argue with or insult a Ronbot, talk with him in a polite way even if he disgusts you. Arguments are commercial Controversies and make you lose the game. Get him to identify who he is and found out if he has property or a website. He if is connected to any website that libels and slanders your actual name on it—he just made you rich.
Then hire a Private Investigator to find out who owns or runs the website. Write them and accept all their attacks on your name for value. Start the UCC method to counter-attack them and take them for all they own.
Know this for a fact. — His brain is not his anymore. He can’t be proactive and dare to talk with a person who he was told is a MONSTER. But if he dares to talk and you only ask questions and never argue with him. He will begin to doubt and you know what happens to him after he is in the Condition of Doubt.
He is as evolved as a snail-or he was one in another life. In this life, he consented to be a mind-slave. Just dare him to read and dare him to talk with any anti-cult person on a friendly basis for at least one hour—dare him to get to know you–by then after that hour he is now a damaged ronbot to the cult—he won’t be trusted and now he is on his way to freedom from control.
For you to defeat the “Church” of scientology you must expose these truths about how Ron discovered Study Technology.
Once you put this NEW DATA into his brain, he is now damaged goods and is no longer a Ronbot, but a suspected PTS person never to be trusted again by the Cult.
To save a RONBOT BRAIN you must deprogram it with NEW DATA.
