Nick Bollea Sits In Jail With “Nothing To Think About”

It’s nice to know that while Nick Bollea Hogan Whatever is sitting in jail, he’s using his time wisely, as in trying to sort out his life and contemplating and thinking of just what it was that landed him there to start with. And it’s always nice to see parents who will tell their son the truth and help keep his feet on the straight and narrow:
The phone calls began just hours after Nick Bollea was hauled away from the courtroom.
Nick Bollea: “Had I known this, I would have rather gone to trial or I would rather, you know, appeal the case or something. I can’t deal with this for eight months. It’s (Bollea’s cell) like the size of my bathroom.”
Linda Bollea:Â “Oh!”
Nick: “No windows or nothing. Just one little top bed thing.”
Linda:Â “Oh my God!” [...]
Nick:Â “All you do is sit there and think, and there’s nothing to think about.”
Linda:Â “We’ll get through it.”
Nick:Â “Yeah.”Linda:Â “Prove to everyone you’ve learned your lesson and be more careful.”
Yeah, son. Next time you want to drink and go street racing, make sure there’s no cops around. Or at least do it on a stretch of road with no palm trees.
Nick is one of two minors being held at the Pinellas County Jail, so he has a private cell, and he’s allowed as many calls as he wants during free time if the other person accepts the charges. As well as talking to mommy, he’s put in a few calls to daddy as well:
Terry Bollea: “I’m very proud of you brother. Very, very proud of you. You’ve been thrown in a tough spot and you’ve handled it better than I could have probably handled it. Any man I know. You’ve really been somebody to look up to.”
Sure. I’ll have my son put a poster of Nick up on his wall, since he’s going to be getting his license soon. Or maybe I’ll put up a poster of the wrecked Supra. Nothing like having a visual reminder of what not to aspire to.
Plus, he’s bored…because, you know, jail is, like, boring and stuff:
Bollea asks for anything to pass the time, including books and magazines. He even talks about breaking the world record for sleeping and working out in his cell.Â
I wonder if it is as boring as spending the rest of your life in a vegetative state, lying in a hospital bed, not being able to communicate or feed yourself or go to the bathroom? I had hopes that Nick would emerge from this a better person, but this is admittedly a rough start.
Have him call me. I’ll give him something to think about.

You’ve got to be sh*tting me? This can’t be for real. What a bunch of self-absorbed assplows.
I couldn’t have said it any better. If you were Nick’s mom he wouldn’t be in this pickle. Dumbasses.

If you want the true scope of it, listen for yourself.

TMZ posted a new phone call with Terry and Nick blaming “John being a negative person” for what happened to him. I have never been overly fond of the Hogan/Bollea clan and this certainly did not help. He has the rest of his life to realize what a cad he is. He has eight months to reflect on what happened. Instead he is planning for his “comeback” and to make as much money as possible. Sick, sad, and completely despicable.

Thank you, squishers, for bringing it to my attention. I have just done a story on it.
And let me say…I am outraged at their behavior. Shame on both of them.

I find this family disgusting. Who does Nick think he really is? After what he did to a friend, a marine none the less, he has the audacity to imply that his friend deserved what happened to him. Sorry Nick, suck it up….if anyone deserves anything, it’s you who deserves to be where you are. In fact, you should have gotten so much more, not just a slap on the wrist. You have a life to return to your friend doesn’t. He is a marine, what are you, nothing more than a spoiled rotten brat. Get a life, and maybe hopefully some day you will grow up.
