Madonna And Guy Ritchie To Divorce, Part 148
Once again the rumors (or, since she likes to adopt fake accents, rumours) are swirling that singer Madonna and her filmmaker husband Guy Ritchie are ready to call it quits:
The source said: ‘They’re obviously sad but they’re dealing with it like grown-ups. Things have just run their natural course.’
The paper reports that the couple will formally announce the split when Madonna’s world tour ends on November 29.
The 49-year-old singer is now said to be setting her sights on a fresh start and plans to spend time moving between her plush properties in London, New York and Los Angeles.
Okay, so here’s my question…why wait?
Look, I don’t like divorce either. I think entirely too many marriages end way too early before people really have a chance to try and work things out, and I think this is doubly true in the celeb world. Famous people tend to end their marriages before they’ve really begun.
But Madonna and Guy have been together, in some form or another, since 1998. We aren’t talking newlyweds here. And while perhaps this marriage could be saved, if the two people involved are reportedly amicable with one another but firm in their decision, then why put off the inevitable?
I know somebody is going to say, “Well, it’s for the children.” Got news for ya…kids know more than we think they do. Lourdes is a teenager now, and she’s undoubtedly figured out a few things. Children know when their parents are unhappy, and they know when a marriage is strained, so why continue to slowly and agonizingly pull off the bandage?

I am sure Guy will do his best to rip off Madonna which is why he most likely married her in the 1st place. Madonna was his investment its a shame too for Madonna since she is the one who has busted her tail to get what she has.

Finally - he will divorce that bitch and start making great movies again.
I am sure he wouldn’t take a penny from this marriage - he is more concern with saving his ass.

I think what we’re dealing with, the whole “announcing in November business”, is the difference between reality and some PR lacky’s calendar. I would imagine, if they are in fact divorcing, that they are already separated, that they are already living separate lives and for whatever bizarre reason Madge’s publicity machine (or Madge) doesn’t want to officially deal with it until she’s off tour.
I think we seen repeatedly occasions in the lives of celebrities where the lives they are leading are clearly not what their PR machines are reporting.
I do wonder how this split might impact the adoption of little David. It seems that the country he’s from (I’m sorry I’m blanking) has been really finicky about this process (not that that is a bad thing). I wonder if a divorce of his parents might cause them to start fussing again?

Don’t think Guy Richie didn’t know what he was signing up for - at least financially. He probably deserves a medal for lasting this long. Anyone who has managed to live with Madonna for 7 years should at LEAST be granted 5mil for each year. And don’t ya know, everything in her life revolves around her, her “work” schedule, her tours, her plans, her work-out, her diet, her “creativity”, her “inspirations”, her gyrations and sexual needs? When it comes to Madonna, everything she does is all about self-interest.
