Andy Dick Busted For Acting Like, Well, A Jerk
What, did you think I would go for the obvious line there?
Ustabee-comedian-turned-sad-drugged-up-junkie Andy Dick was arrested for, among other things, exposing and fondling the breasts of a minor:
Actor and comedian Andy Dick, who has a history of run-ins with the law, was arrested early Wednesday outside a Murrieta restaurant on suspicion of sexual battery and drug possession.
Police said Dick, who was heavily intoxicated, grabbed and fondled the breast of a 17-year-old girl before pulling her top down in the parking lot of the Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar about 1:15 in the morning.
“The victim was traumatized by this,” said Lt. Dennis Vrooman, spokesman for the Murrieta Police Department.
Police later found one gram of marijuana and one Xanax anti-anxiety pill in Dick’s pocket. He was arrested and later released on $5,000 bail.
Buffalo Wild Wings? What, there was no Applebees open? Seriously, that stuff passes for haute cuisine here in the flyover states, but I thought people out there on the Left Coast only ate at lettuce and carrot bars.
This isn’t the first time Andy has had a run-in with the law, or the second, or the third…
Seriously, I’ve seen so many stories about Andy Dick getting drugged up and/or drunk and doing stupid things that it really doesn’t surprise me any more, but it does make me sad. He used to be somewhat funny, now he’s just a sad caricature of himself. Let’s hope his family or somebody that cares about him can get him to rehab before he really does some harm to himself.
But I do have to ask what a 17 y/o girl (and the friend she was with, according to the story another girl of unknown age) was doing out at one in the morning in the parking lot of a BWW? I’m NOT saying she was “asking for it”, so don’t leave me nasty comments. I’m just thinking that a teenager going up to talk to anyone they don’t know in a parking lot at that hour of the night probably isn’t a good idea.

Wow, didn’t recognize him without the stupid glasses.
I hate Andy Dick. I don’t think he’s funny and I hate almost any show or movie he’s in (except Lion King II, he was just a voice in that :p) BECAUSE he’s in it. And he does so many icky, illegal things I wish he would just stay in jail.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he thought she was older. I also don’t understand how he could pull her top down without ripping it, unless she was wearing something uber skanky. Normally you would pull a shirt up to see breasts, unless she had on an easy access skank tube. I’m not saying it makes what he did okay, but she was probably askin’ for it. Hopefully this will teach her to mind her bedtime.

I’ve always felt sorry for him, even when he’s not zonked he’s compelled to act-out like a bratty kid just to make people feel uncomfortable. One of those “commedians” that doesn’t know how to “know their audience” when necessary. He must have some serious inner-psyche problems. “Icky” is the right word.
