Compounding Lies Paint Grim Picture In Case Of Missing Toddler Caylee Anthony

It should come as no surprise that Casey Anthony, mother of missing 2-year old Caylee Anthony, has been caught in another major lie. Casey had claimed she spoke with her daughter the day before she was arrested, stating she received a call from a “private number” which she told police was made by her “nanny,” the elusive Zenaida Gonzalez. During this alleged call, Casey in a sworn statement said she spoke briefly with her daughter and that was the last time she’d heard from little Caylee. This would have been the 15th of July, but as it turns out, this was a LIE.

Phone records released by OCPD shows that Casey NEVER received a call from a “private” number or any number belonging to the supposed nanny. Further compounding this woman’s web of deception, the Zenaida Gonzalez Casey refers to as being her daughter’s nanny has cooperated with police and has been cleared of being involved in this case from the beginning. In fact, she is upset that her innocent name has been dragged into this case, and her reputation sullied by the implications.

There are news reports that CSI techs visited the Anthony home for a 4th time and took evidence related to clothes and items Casey Anthony had with her during the time she and Caylee were away from the Anthony home when Caylee went missing. Cindy Anthony, the grandmother of the missing child, has stated in a report to police that she unwittingly washed a pair of pants belonging to Casey Anthony which were found in the car after it was impounded. Cindy Anthony, in her statement to police, said she washed the pants because they smelled of the same odor most reports are claiming to be that of “human decomposition.”

It is also being reported that the OCPD are engaging in pre-planned diving exercises, but doing so at ponds and bodies of water close to the Anthony’s Orlando home. It is believed that the DNA evidence from the mysterious stain found in the back of Casey Anthony’s car are close to being completed, but police have said they won’t necessarily being releasing those details to the media or public.

One final point of interest is an article which states Casey refused a visit from her brother Lee today during a pre-scheduled visit. The article stated Casey knew her brother had come to see her, but she refused to meet with him. Lee Anthony rescheduled his visit for next Tuesday. This seems a bit strange. Perhaps Casey doesn’t want to face her family in light of all her endless lies being revealed. Could it be she is finally coming to terms with the reality that no one, not even her family, believe her anymore? Let’s hope she decides to come clean and reveal what she knows about her child’s disappearance.

Glosslip has been covering this story since it broke and it seems based on our previous reports and this new information, police are getting closer to charging Casey Anthony in her daughter’s disappearance. So far, Casey has been charged with a 3rd degree felony and a misdemeanor charge related to child neglect and obstruction of justice. Casey remains jailed on a $500K bond, a significantly higher bond than normally used for the current charges pending against her. This seems to indicate police are expecting to charge her with something more severe in the near future, and appeals to reduce the bond have been rejected.

Caylee would turn 3 tomorrow, and mother Casey has claimed she’d be home for her third birthday. Let’s pray this is true, although I strongly doubt it.

  1. what’s most unfortunate is that casey had at least five weeks to cover up her misdeed. though one might think in five weeks she could come up with a much better story than the web we’ve been hacking through with the media ….

    my theory?

the family stated that the last time they were all together in the house, that cindy and casey went for a swim … then the removed the ladder as they always did, due to a small child in residence.
however on all the live news feeds we see the swimming pool ladder in place

i think the little girl had an accident of some sort, perhaps drowned MISTAKENLY in the pool after cindy and george anthony left for work … and casey tried with all her might to cover it up

firt burying caylee in teh back yard (explianing the borrowed shovel and the cadaver dog hitting in a location) then when she thought better of it she moved caylee into the car (again, explaining another independant dog hitting on the spot AND the smell AND the dirt) and then with the stolen gas cans plus a single lit match …

well hate to say it but they may never find that little girl :[

  3. I just dont get if there was an “accident” why you would hide it..??
I have two children and although I would want to die if they had an “accident” I would surely tell the authorities. Pool accidents occur all the time and I dont think a whole lot happens to the parents if there is an accidental drowning. Why would a person even consider hiding something like that?
Maybe she killed her, then put her in the water and was going to “pretend” it was a drowning but she knew they would figure that out. I mean if the pool and the ladder have anything to do with it, maybe she killed her and panicked and then put her in the pool and then got a shovel and buried her and then that was not going to work, put her in her car and took her somewhere. I dont know….but this chick is NUTZ!!! as cooky as they come….LIAR!!!
With “EVERY” single thing being a lie, why would we for one second believe that she really knows where the child is. “Caylee being close to home, is probably the biggest clue she has given and she is either close to home like in heaven or close to home as in buried near by. That is my thought.

  5. It seems as if she didn’t love this child much at all before she disappeared. How could she be partying after it happened? I think that she left the girl in the car while she was partying. Somehow the girl died in the car, from the heat maybe. She came out and found her dead, felt glad to be free again, and just got rid of the body with a made up story. The end, or so she thought.

This chick’s going down. It may take time to carefully dot the Is and cross the Ts with the evidence, but they’ll get her. I’m glad that the nanny issue is finally cleared up and dismissed.

  11. This whole thing is getting sadder by the day. If you take the time to blog thru all the crap the news is reporting you will find that not much has changed- Caylee is still missing and Casey is still not giving anyone anything to work with. The people who took Caylee made threats. Well, now the nation knows she is missing so, I hope those threats dont come to fruition.

  13. This was no accident. Casey killed her kid and then dumped, buried, or burned the body. Period. Why did she do it? Because she is, quite simply, a textbook sociopath.

  15. Maybe reality is settling in on Casey, not sure how much of the news she has access to or how much information she is getting from the outside world. And today refusing to see her brother on a scheduled visit, makes a person wonder if she has come to the realization that NO ONE believes her and are disappointed and discussed with her behavior and her unwillingness to tell the truth, and that it will be highly unlikely that she will ever be released to live a free life, that she will be locked up in a tiny cold cell, day after day, year after year. I am sure she is on a suicide watch ever since she has been locked up, understandably, everything about her is so uncertain. Apparently she has had problems her whole life and her family has had to put up with it. It wouldn’t suprise me if she did herself in, not leaving a note or anything. I really don’t know of anyone that is a habitual liar, but apparently those kind of people live in their own kind of world, a nutbag is too kind of a word for her. I hope the end is near and the truth finally comes out and this case will be closed.

  17. This is so sad. That little girl is so cute. Not that it would be less sad if the little girl were ugly.

I really wonder, when this is all said and done, what the diagnosis of the mother will be. The grandmother will most definitely be an enabler, but I can’t tell from the limited description of the mom if she’d be a narcissist or a sociopath. But both are in the psychopath family…

  19. Remember Susan Smith? She was a good mother too. Then she got obsessed with a guy who didn’t want kids. That was the end of the kids.

Casey was supposedly moving in with “Tony”? Maybe Tony didn’t want kids either. No more Caylee. The whole family is in denial, and they drag us all along with them.

  21. Sad to say, but unless the FBI finds a body and is able to connect the murder to Casey thru DNA evidence, we will probably never know what truely happened. If Casey is indeed a pathological liar, you can be sure she will NEVER EVER admit to anything. She will deny till the day she dies. It’s kind of a catch-22. In order to plead the insanity denfense, you have to first admit you committed the crime, and then justify it by saying “I was insane”. However, if you are a true/textbook pathological liar, more often than not, you won’t ever actually 100% admit to the crime.

  23. Such a sad case, so much to ponder. But one thing is certain, nothing Casey has said has proven to be anything but a lie. She is a pathological liar and I doubt she will ever admit to what she has done with Cayley. After all….Casey is only worried about Casey. An accident theory??? Any normal mother would have called 911 immediately! I can’t imagine that any of her “friends” she was staying with…ie, Tony didn’t bother to ask where Caylee had gone when she quit coming to his place with Casey? What did Casey tell them? I pray for Caylee’s sake that she comes home. I also feel the Grandparents are not involved and their only fault is wanting to beleive their daughter is not capable of harming Caylee. I am a grandparent and I would want to believe that of my children also….but if my child had told as many “lies” as Casey has, I would have to have some doubts that I would need cleared up. My comment to Casey is come clean and bring this child home (dead or alive), it is a matter of time before they find her. I pray she’s still alive. As for the grandparents, No one knows your daughter like you as her parents, but don’t be so closed minded to all the evidence and lies that have been presented to you. If Casey harmed Caylee, it is your responsibility to protect Caylee…..she’s just a child. Casey is an adult and has made her bed and until she is willing to cooperate with police…..she’ll be lying in it for along time to come. She sits in jail for refusing to cooperate with police. I find that hard to understand from any mom who’s child is missing. Casey can solve this and for what she is putting the grandparents, Caylee, friends, and family thru shows her lack of concern for anyone but saving herself.

  25. I read a day or so ago about the pool ladder, how Casey and Caylee went swimming, then Casey put up the ladder. I also wonder about the b/f Tony…I don’t think he’s guilty, but maybe he didn’t want kids, like the Susan Smith case.

Maybe Caylee drowned accidentally while mom was doing something she shouldn’t have been doing instead of paying attention to her daughter. Maybe she was having sex with the b/f or passed out from a night of partying. Could a 2 y/o move and connect the ladder? There were a flurry of calls to mom and dad June 16.

Or could Casey, if the b/f not wanting kids theory is true, have drowned Caylee in the pool, then set it up like an accident…complete with what she’ll claim is a “mental breakdown” causing her to act in the way she has been the past month or so? The trauma of “losing” her daughter was too much and she “snapped”? To get reduced time, maybe just counseling, and at the end, what she wanted all along…a man and no child to look after?

Or Caylee died accidentally in the car (locked in while mom partied), and Casey tried to set things up at the house to look like she “accidentally” drowned and then concocted this whole story about the kidnapping? Again, to claim she “snapped” when she found her daughter “drowned” to play on our sympathies and make herself look like a distraught mother who didn’t know what else to do?

IF it was an accident, why not say so?

    All just conjecture.

  29. Casey Anthony would never come clean on her own (in the public) but she is in a controlled environment now and unable to be and do the things she loves most- SPOILED and FREE TO DO WHATEVER SHE WANTS!! I think with time she will break and try to spin yet another lie and turn this into HER PAIN and HER LOSS. Especially when her mother and father get more of an inclination that Caylee isn’t coming home today. I doubt Caylee will be home today… If anything maybe the mother will give into her lies today and let this beautiful little girl go to rest. You can see the grandfather is starting to break already.. I think Casey’s mom influenced the trend of out of sight out of mind in Caseys earlier years and Casey adapted it through her whole life and used it to get away with anything. Either LIE LIE LIE or out of sight out of mind and this is what has gotten her where it is. I think somewhere in the far off past Casey and her mother had disagreements about being Caylees babysitter all the time.. not holding up to her responsibilities, etc. so Casey started leaving little Caylee in the trunk with food (like the pizza that the grandmother later alleged what she claimed to the 911 dispatcher “smelt like a damn dead body had been in the car”)and maybe a flashlight when she had other things to do.. like go see her boyfriend when she was supposedly going to her imaginary job.. going out partying, etc. Making it into a game with little Caylee until the trunk got too hot one day.. perhaps the weekend around the missing time when it is said that Casey went on a weekend getaway with an ex boyfriend and said she had a free weekend because Caylee was with “the nanny”. I think sadly little caylee is dead… and if it was an accident due to some stemmed jealousy of caseys mother being closer to caylee then casey now she wanted caylee to appear missing for lots of sympathy from the public… her mother… and to not have her mother blame her for caylees accidental (or otherwise) death. Why havent the investigators pointed out to casey how could she have had this Zanny babysitter if she hadnt been working for how long?? How could she have paid her?? Just my two cents… I am following this story constantanly and although the picture is getting worse daily.. I pray that beautiful baby will make it home even if the facts are building against it.

  31. Below is a fairly accurate timeline of events including the very telling myspace entry from Cindy,
Casey’s mother where she writes about Casey’s jealousy. Here are some interesting things
if Caylee drowned in the pool – when did this happen?
Casey and Caylee left the house on Monday the 16th
with their backpacks for their “mini vacation”
George then leaves at about 2:30. There is a bunch of phone calls from Caseys phone at about 3:00 but she couldnt reach her parents – which I find really odd,
but its corroborated by phone records the calls were unanswered. Did Casey come back to the house after
George left? Also the calls started only 1/2 hour after George left the house – what could Casey have done to Caylee in the space of half and hour – what was she calling about?
If she did put Caylee in the pool
which would be very strange – she still could some how explain it as an accident. Shes a good liar.
The gate to the Anthonys home was not being locked around that time – it just might be possible that neighborhood kids got in there and swam in the pool
leaving the ladder up and the gate open. Two days
later Casey goes next door and asks for a shovel – she backs up her car in the driveway something a neighbor says was unusual. The timing here is very strange – its very difficult to reconcile how she got rid of Caylee in such a short period of time, if she killed her at her parents house. But if she didnt, then why the shovel? How long before she returned the shovel? I have never heard that reported the length of time she needed the shovel. Another thing, why do we believe that the woman that came forward is actually the person that went to the Sawgrass apartment? I read that the people at the apartment couldnt identify and photos of any woman named Zenaida Gonzalez that they were shown and also couldnt identify Casey’s picture. The Zenaida Gonzalez I saw
interviewed (with her face in shadow) said she didnt have a job – and had four children – how was she going to rent an apartment? I think she just came forward to get some publicity and that she used the fact she had the name Casey gave out to put herself in the case. Nothing else makes sense – because Casey lied about where she dropped Caylee off – its just too big a coincidence that a person named Zenaida
Gonzalez happened to look at an apartment at the very same location that Casey described. People do strange things – maybe this Zenaida decided to get herself some publicity or sympathy and hoped someone would offer her some help. Below see the timeline of Events:

    TimeLine of Events:

June 15th – Cindy and Casey went swimming. Ladder was removed from
    pool.

June 16th – George said he saw Caylee and Casey leave the home with
back packs at about 12:30 PM. Casey said she was dropping Caylee off
    at the babysitters.

June 16th – George leaves house about 2:30 PM.

June 16th- Numerous calls, one right after the other, starting about 3
PM (about a minute apart) made from Casey’s cell phone to both
parents’ phones- No answer. There was about a 2 plus hours between
Casey and Caylee leaving on the 16th and then the flurry of phone
calls by Casey trying to contact her mom and dad. MF said there were
two other individuals she tried to call during this same time frame.
(Who were these- maybe Tony and her brother, Lee?)

June 16th From 6PM -7:30PM- More calls, then no more calls until next
    day.

June 17th the ladder was found next to the pool and gate to back yard
    was open.

June 17th- “Zenaida Gonzalez” Signed a card to look at apt at Sawgrass
Apts. She has been found- said she didn’t know Casey or Caylee.

June 18th- borrowed shovel from neighbor. Casey backed car into
driveway- had never done that before.

June 24th – Report made to police about gas cans being stolen…

June 24th – Casey came by to pick up clothes and George went into
trunk to get a gadget…saw gas cans and took them out. NO CAYLEE seen

June 25th – Jesse Grund – former cop and x-fiance talked with Casee
about terminating with the PD. Made plans to go to beach in 3 days.
June 27th or 28? (He has recanted claim to have heard Caylee in the
    background when talking)

June 27th -car was abandoned in Amscott Parking Lot.

June 27 or 28th – Jesse and Casey went to the beach!!!

June 30th – Car was towed from Amscott Parking Lot; 7705 Goldon Rod
Road, Oralndo 32822. Child’s seat in car. Towed to Johnsons wrecker.
    Casey’s purse on the seat.

July 3rd- Cindy’s myspace post to Casey: “She came into my life
unexspectedly, just as she has left me. This precious little angel
from above gave me strength and unconditional love. Now she is gone
and I don’t know why. All I am guilty of is loving her and providing
her a safe home. Jealousy has taken her away. Jealousy from the one
person that should be thankfull for all of the love and support given
to her. A mother’s love is deep, however there are limits when one is
betrayed by the one she loved and trusted the most. A daughter comes
to her mother for support when she is pregnant, the mother says
without hesitation it will be ok. And it was. But then the lies and
betrayal began. First it seemed harmless, ah, love is blind. A mother
will look for the good in her child and give them a chance to change.
This mother gave chance after chance for her daughter to change, but
instead more lies more betrayal. What does the mother get for giving
her daughter all of these chances? A broken heart. The daughter who
stole money, lots of money, leaves without warning and does not let
her mother now speak to the baby that her mother raised, fed, clothed,
sheltered, paid her medical bills, etc. Instead tells her friends that
her mother is controlling her life and she needs her space. No money,
no future. Where did she go? Who is now watching out for the little
    angel?”

July 4th – Casey was at Tony’s apt. cooking for him and his roommate
    DJ.

July 7th – Casey allegedly posts a message* on her MySpace blog. The
message, titled “Diary of Days,” read:
“On the worst of worst days, remember the words spoken
    Trust no one, only yourself.
With great power, comes great consequence.
What is given can be taken away.
    Everyone Lies.
    Everyone Dies.”

July 15th…Amy, who was in P. Rico for a week and lives with Ricardo
Morales, Casey’s x-boyfriend, was picked up at the airport by Casey.
Amy let her use her car while away. She reports her checks for about
$1,000 were stolen by Casey. Amy was called by Cindy to find where
Casey was. Amy and Ricardo live across the street from the apt. bldg.
Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez was said to reside.

July 16th – car was picked up and Casey was arrested.

Cindy said she spoke with Caylee on June 16th.
On June 19th Casey is photographed dancing, and having a great time.
My theory: Casey left Caylee in her car so she could have “some fun” on the 19th. When she left the bar she either found Caylee dead or taken. She was too ashamed to tell her family. In the 4 weeks that followed, Casey had pleanty of time to disposed her daughter’ body. I AM DEVISTATED for Cindy and George Anthony!

The night that [she] was arrested, she wrote [him] a letter. The letter was filled with the phrase, “I’m sorry,” and complaints that [her] feelings were getting lost in the midst of everyone else’s sorrow. [He] was upset by the contents of the letter and thought, “what kind of person is [she]?” [He] had the same thoughts after he read [her] confession.

If he “recanted” the statement of hearing Caylee in the background, I would want to know why. Perhaps this trip “to the beach” should be looked at more closely? Lots of places to dump a body at the beach… Just a thought, albeit a sad one. And as long as Casey has her lawyer in her pocket, police will get nowhere with her. A confession is certainly in order, no matter WHO is involved. God bless little Caylee, wherever she is.

What about the $45,000.00 that was reported that she spent in that month? What do records show on that??? Don’t you think the credit card company would have called the card owners to let them know that there was HUGE amounts of money being debited to their card at some point??????? 65. To Elaine:

I read that when the investigators questioned the neighbors they said that Casey had the shovel for one hour, returned the shovel then they noticed her backing her vehicle up to the garage which they found peculiar. http://www.wftv.com/news/17136493/detail.html
Also, investigators found the Zenaida Gonzales by the card she signed at the Sawgrass apartments. After several interviews they have decided she is not the nanny Casey is referring to. Also when they showed a picture of her to Casey, Casey said she did not know the woman. Investigators also showed a lineup of 12 photos to the women working at the apartments that saw the Zenaida Gonzales who viewed the apartment. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,400001,00.html
The police said that the women were shown a pic of Casey as well. They said that the woman that viewed the apartment was absolutely not Casey. Investigators were trying to decipher how Casey obtained Zenaida’s name since they dont believe it is coincidence that Casey chose that name, the very name of a women there during the same time that Casey claims she left her daughter there. (Perhaps after she killed Caylee she acted like she was going to view the apt. and went to sign a key check out list and saw Zenaida’s name?) My thoughts are this though… the investigators just recently visited the apartments to ask the women to look at photographs. Do they really trust that they are certain what Zenaida looked like nearly a month after she visited? Did they think to examine all other names signed in after Zenaida’s? Perhaps Casey did visit the apartment afterward using an alias which is when she obtained Zenaida’s name off the list and used it in her story of a nanny. I think it is ridiculous, with this story being in the media for nearly a month now, with Casey’s face plastered all over the news and internet, for these women to be certain she was not there.. How can they honestly say that? I am sure we all are too familiar with what Casey looks like be now. I find it ridiculous that the investigators waited so long to question the staff at the apartments.

To Caley has stolen America’s heart:

Investigators say there is NO CONCRETE SLAB although this comment continues to be made… there were only cement pavers in the backyard, which investigators have said they thoroughly examined…

  69. Sorry, Rachel, but there’s never been a proven case of a “psychic detective” solving a crime case. I wish them all the luck in the world in finding this little girl, but I think it’s misleading to claim that they “were very reliable in finding very difficult cases regarding missing people and finding the murderers.” That’s not to say that no one has ever gotten lucky, but psychics are incorrect the VAST majority of the time. The times they get a hit can be attributed to chance alone.

  71. Okay, if it really matters because we all already know Casey is lying-but I found clearly another hole in her story..this is from the 3rd 911 call made from Cindy and when Casey was speaking to the dispatcher before she was arrested:
Casey: I know who has her. I’ve tried to contact her. I actually received a phone call today. Now from a number that is no longer in service. I did get to speak to my daughter for about a moment. About a minute.

Now here this is another thing she said to her brother in a later phone call made recently:
CASEY: Um, the last private call that I received was on the 15th, I believe? That was the day that mom made that call. And I think that was the last one that I had gotten. I mean as far as my knowing someone on the phone when I last had it.

LEE: And do you remember what area code, or any part of that?

CASEY: That was the number that came up. It just said ‘private cell’ or ‘private call’ I can’t remember which one.

How would she know what number it was to call it when she stated that the number was private?

    Comment by Amber — August 11, 2008 @ 10:08 pm

  72.
  73. Also she said that she did have the other number in her black jack phone which had been missing for quiet awhile..
Why then did she say that she tried to contact her if she didn’t have access to the number and also that the number was private to begin with??..and that she doesn’t remember what number it was at all if it weren’t private and all she can remember are the area codes…see..that right there she just lied again to her own brother. ..

  77. Thank you for the info for the length of time Casey had the shovel which was about one hour. The current theory is that whatever happened to Caylee it happened on June 16th – which is the last day that her parents saw Casey until mid July and the very last time they say Caylee. On June 18th Casey borrowed the shovel for one hour and then backed her car up in the driveway which was unusual the neighbor said. We know George Anthony reported gas cans stolen but just when they were stolen is not clear. I think he reported them stolen on June 24th. Regarding the use of Zenaida Gonzalez’s name by Casey as the babysitters name – it turns out that the Sawgrass apartments are right across the street from Caseys Ex
boyfriend Ricardo Morales and his girlfriend Amy – and Casey stayed with them after she left her house on June 16th. So she could very easily have somehow gotten access to some records over at that apartment and picked out the first hispanic woman’s name in the record book and decided to use that name. Cindy has stated she had heard the name of Zenaida Gonzalez before this tragedy all started, at least she said that a couple of weeks ago – but when asked again recently if she had indeed heard Zenaidas name before she backtracked and wouldnt answer. I think Cindy just made that up in her head that she had heard the name Zenaida before June 16th. In any case, Casey Anthony is one tough little cookie and a big big liar.
She will get convicted of any charge the police bring against her, even if its not homicide, as she is totally unsympathetic as far as the public is concerned. I think she’s willing to trade off a six year sentence (which is for the felony child endangerment charge the worst charge against her)because she knows she would probably get out in 3 years and dodge the bullet on a homicide as she figures no body – no case – and she could very well be right. Makes you sick doesnt it.

  79. You are very welcome Elaine.

Well I just wanted to quote a recent article http://www.wftv.com/news/17169161/detail.html:

George Anthony told Eyewitness News he was supposed to meet in Oviedo on Tuesday morning with “people assisting outside the normal scope of things” and he seemed to suggest that the people are doing surveillance on kidnappers who he believes have his granddaughter.

“These people know they are being watched. They know it,” George told Eyewitness News on Tuesday morning.

“Who are these people?” WFTV reporter Derrol Nail asked.

“I really can’t get into that with you,” George said.

“Are there people out there who can help you find these people?” Nail asked.

“Yeah, you would think that the people who have my granddaughter right now would be smart enough to turn this girl back in to her family. I don’t want anymore of this going on,” he said.

“You really believe that, George, with all the evidence out there to the counter?” Nail asked.

“Oh, deeply. You know something? Stuff that’s out there so far, I hope I can say this as politely as I can, evidence that’s out there is circumstantial. Evidence that’s out there is being drawn up in someone’s mind. Just because some things look like it’s going in one way, it could go in a totally different way,” he said.

During his time in Oviedo on Tuesday morning, he passed out shirts and fliers to random strangers who came up to him, but the person who he said he was supposed to meet in Oviedo didn’t show up.

Eyewitness News asked if he has hired a private investigator and he would only say that the people who are doing the surveillance are private people who are helping him.

After his brief conversation with Eyewitness News, George hit the road with a Caylee billboard in tow. He said he plans on driving it to Sanford and possibly Daytona if time allows.

    - I am wondering why in the world would he still plan on driving around with that large billboard when he swears that the people who have Caylee are currently being watched… then why the need for the billboard, or fliers, or volunteers… this doesnt make any sense at all!

  83. I’m a little confused at this point. I have heard that Casey won’t talk to anyone (including her family) now because she fears information will get out and she fears for Kaylee’s life? Now tonight, Grandpa George makes a statement (on National tv) that the Kidnappers “know” that they are now being watched?????????? He indicates he knows who it is but isn’t saying??????? What?????? they don’t think saying that on national Tv will get Caylee killed????

Also, in the beginning of this case, didn’t grandma cindy say that Casey wanted to take Kaylee for a mini vacation so that mom casey and Kaylee could bond a little more???? But then when giving a timeline, Grandpa George doesn’t mention anything about her taking a mini vacation. He merely states that he saw casey and Kaylee leave with backpacks (as usual)and Casey was headed to drop Kaylee of at the sitters so she could go to work????????????? I don’t think the grandparents are on the same page????????? If as Grandpa George thought, that casey was going to work and Kaylee to the sitter, wouldn’t he wonder the next day where they were when they didn’t come home????? If grandma cindy wasn’t hearing from Casey within a few days, why would she not be checking in to see what was going on. Why did the parents not know at anytime where Casey was and had trouble locating her????? Didn’t she have a cell phone at that point?? And I have to agree with the neighbor about hearing Casey fighting with her parents on several occassions…………we’ve seen first hand how out of control Casey can get (f..word and all!) when she is pissed off! And she was talking to her mom this way while in jail. Cell phone records are interesting at this point. Kaylee come home for America!

  85. Regarding post #42 that is very interesting what you wrote about the different stories that George and Cindy Anthony have given for June 16th – Cindy Anthony did say that Casey and Caylee were going on a mini vacation – and George Anthony stated that when they left at about 12:30 on Monday afternoon they werer wearing backpacks and Casey was going to drop Caylee at the babysitters and go to work. None of the talk show hosts have brought this up. George Anthony is making crazier statements every day. I think these people have something severely wrong with them. George Anthony obviously believes everthing his daughter ever told him. When asked about those damning photos of her – he told reporters that people called his daughter “Mom” because she wasnt the party girl type and was very selective of where she went and who she went out with. This man doesnt have a clue to what she really is – I would hope after seeing those photos it would make him start thinking but he probably thinks they were photoshopped and not real. Then Cindy Anthony tells Greta Van Susteren that after Caylee is found that Casey will get a “mother of the year” award for what she has done for Caylee! I have never seen such denial in one pair of parents. No wonder this girl is a pathological liar – if they dont believe everything she says she probably goes off in a rant until they give into her. Every time I think of it, I think of that movie from the 1950s The Bad Seen with Patty McCormack – it is absolutely chilling – because her character matches Casey to a tee -There was justice at the end of that movie for the character – I wonder if in real life there will be justice for little Caylee.

  93. Becca, I viewed the photos……..if that isn’t an eye opener to Casey’s parents I don’t know what is! Grandma Cindy made the comment in one of her interviews that “you couldn’t know what you’d do until your in that situation”, as she was referring to the grandparents believing Casey’s story(ies). NEWS FLASH Grandma Cindy……..if repeatedly the police were able to show me that MY child has done nothing but lie about EVERYTHING that has come out of my child’s mouth thus far………..MYSELF, AND THOUSANDS OF OTHER PARENTS DO KNOW WHAT THEY WOULD DO! Come on Grandma Cindy………she’s lied her whole life to you and Grandpa George too and YOU know that! You’ve both looked blindly the other way for many years and look where it got you?? I’m curious Grandpa George……when you found out that it was Casey who stole the gas cans you reported missing on June 24th…….did you call the police and let them know the mystery had been solved and it was your own daughter?????…….something tells me probably not. You both act like you know your own daughter better than anyone……….hmmmmmm, is that why you thought for weeks that she was going to work and she didn’t even really have a job???????? If she was going to work…..wouldn’t Casey have a paycheck??? Ever see a paystub? Did Casey ever file taxes? If you were as tight knit with her as you say, these are things you should have had an inkling too. YOU as parents are guilty of enabling her and in so doing…….your granddaughter has suffered the consequence for it. AND last but not least, WHERE was Casey getting all her money to afford to party, buy name brand clothing, gas for her car (oh yeah…she stole that from you), pay for a “nanny”, etc??????? And you, Cindy and George are constantly changing your stories……..AMERICA WANTS JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE AND SOONER OR LATER, CASEY’S HELP OR NOT……..WE WILL GET IT AND SHE WILL BE FOUND!

  99. We all sit at the edge of our seat, just waiting for little caylee to be found, hopefully alive. I think we all have more compassion for Caylee than her own mom and we don’t even know Caylee personally. It’s sad to think that Caylee left on July 16th, unknowingly to be her last time to be seen alive. Thinking she was going on a “mini” vacation with the one person she probably trusted the most. Reports state that Casey was a “good mom”, never yelling at caylee or anything. I find it hard to believe that Casey could talk to the mom that gave birth to her with such hatred (the “F” word in every other word) and have that temper or anger not flow over into her relationship with Caylee as well. Those that seen the good side of Casey, was just as fooled as Casey’s own parents were! Casey was able to fool anyone that came in contact with her. I hope she’s enjoying her stay in jail and I hope she has to think everyday about what she has done to Caylee! (susan Smith all over again…….)

  101. “In the latest twist in an increasingly bizarre case, the grandfather of a missing Orlando toddler made the remarkable claim that the little girl’s “kidnapper” is currently under surveillance.

George Anthony, whose 3-year-old granddaughter Caylee Marie Anthony disappeared almost two months ago, told reporters Wednesday that he believes the child was snatched and the person who took her is being watched.

The former high-ranking police officer, whose 22-year-old daughter Casey Marie Anthony remains behind bars in Caylee’s disappearance, made the shocking claims as Orange County detectives said the child might have died accidentally on or around June 16.”

The whole family is nuts. And to think the grandfather was once a “high ranking” police officer. They should all be ashamed for their refusal to take their heads out of their asses and help find this child.

I can’t WAIT……to see what Grandpa George and Grandma Cindy have to say if they do find Caylee’s body and that Casey was responsible. They already have mud on their face from all the different “stories” they have told throughout this whole ordeal. Starting with………….was Casey and Caylee leaving as Grandpa George says to drop Caylee off at the sitter and going to work that day……..or was Casey and Caylee leaving on a mini-vacation as Grandma cindy states???????? That’s just one of many discrepancies in Grandpa vs. Grandma’s comments.

  107. I agree ith the theory that Casey locked Caylee in the car and came back to find her unresponsive and flipped out.
Let’s face it, Casey is not the sharpest knife in the drawer besides being a liar and daughter from hell. I dont believe she would kill her child. She thinks of herself as a child . By not being able to take responsibility for her mind or for her body for that matter.
I pray for her parents and I pray George does not get a heart attack from all the aggrevation he has been through. And not just with this case, but I tend to believe that Casey was a lovingly spoiled rotten little girl but became a spoiled rotten piece of furniture after 18 years of age. Just listen to the way this 22 year old speaks to her mother. She is still a child erself!

  109. I agree Ellen, that Casey did not intentionally kill her daughter. I think what she has done in covering it up and not confessing to an accident, however, makes it just as bad (if not worse) that she leaves Caylee’s whereabouts unknown. I think she would have gotten sympathy in the beginning is she’d have fessed up. It’s too late for that now. Tonights news now says a headhunter/bountyhunter and a bailbondsman are bonding her out on Sunday or Monday. As much as I hate to see her get out, I hope it helps this case somehow. I think these two guys are just in it for the notoriaty and want a “piece” of the fame. What a pathetic way to be known in regards to this case!

  115. From the home movies they have shown of casey and Caylee I believe she loved the little girl, but along the way something went terribly wrong and the little girl was killed and she took the easy way out and lied.
As a Psychic and as most Psychic know who went to look with the dogs we all know that Caylee has been dead for a long time.
Caylee has appeared to me from the After Life with a grandfather type to say she is safe.
I believe Casey is guilty of covering up a crime but I don’t believe she actually killed the little girl herself and is covering up for abusers that killed the little girl.
The words I got is they abused Caylee and her mother did nothing to stop it.
I see two men involved and possibly another woman other than casey involved in the situation and I believ when Casey told everyone from jail she can’t talk for fear of putting her family in danger this is what she meant that they could be in danger from the ones who killed Caylee.
What needs to be done is for them to tell casey they know she is implicated in disposing of the body but that others killed the little girl in an abusive and possibly drug related situation and see if she implicates the others.
Casey is guilty of covering up the crime but others need to go down with her and then Caylee can be put to rest in the proper way.

  119. Amen to that Angela. Where the grandparents lost me is when they began sacrificing the innocent grandchild for the treacherous child. I have a 21 year-old daughter as well as a two year-old granddaughter… and if God forbid we were living this nightmare I would have to put the grandchild ahead of a culpable child. Children having children, but it isn’t an age thing. Casey never grew up because she never had any consequences. Her parents bailed and rescued, enabled and excused her all her life. In any case, this talk of others involved does not even ring true. The swimming pool theory is what I’ve suspected all along. There were not other abusers, it is a case of childish, selfish priorities–pure and simple neglect. And a cover-up that resulted from her unwillingness to bear responsibility for it. The only “help” Casey had was once again, as they always have, the grandparents helped “clean up” her “mess.” Caylee you are just as precious as can be, you are in a better place.
