Tom Cruise’s Path To Scientology, Sort Of…..

If you ignore the fact that none of these people look like their famous counter-parts, it’s pretty damn near accurate. Oh, and the syncing with the voices is a bit, shall we say, off.

Seriously, someone put A LOT of time and effort into this, which sort of scares me. Kind of like Kiefer Sutherland.

  5. A lot of time and effort to make the clips. Does it mean that some lone, wealthy critic threw his life savings away? Or does this mean there have been considerable resources behind critical voices for a longer time? I’ll tell you what it is, then idiots will demand proof which I won’t attempt. What it actually is; some well to do individuals feel tremendously threatened by Scientology. Since 1950, there have been at least a few individuals with resources. They have thrown their considerable resources at Scientology. But you don’t see much of that, you only see the tip of the iceburg with Andre’s Xenu.com, whose bandwidth charges per month are more than most people’s salary. And of course critics can’t even see that because it is too obvious.

  7. You got it wrong Terryeo. There are about 50,000 people who thinks Scientology makes sense. There are many thousands, it is hard to say how many, who think that it is a dangerous cult. That leaves a huge number of people who either a) don’t know about it or b) think it is a joke. This was put together by someone who knows something about it and thinks it is a joke. I thought it was a pretty funny video.

Terryeo, in 1970 I was told that by 1973 every city in the world would have an org and that by 1975 everyone in the world would be a Scientologist. Back then when they stated a statistic for membership, the number they threw up was 15 million. Today, the number they throw out is 8 or 10 million, depending, I suppose, on which side of the bed David M wakes up on. The fact is about 6 billion people have never heard of it or think its a joke. World conquest thwarted by silliness.

  21. Poor Terryeo, no sense of humor at all. Much like little Tommy and Davey actually. “Threatened by $cientology”? HA! Why don’t you just come right out with it and yell WHAT ARE YOUR CRIMES? You know you want to!

    Funny, funny stuff.

  23. Sorry, no big money critic conspiracy here folks, this is a show from channel 4 in the UK. Thanks for posting it though; the woman who does Nicole is greats, I’ve watched that scene at the Dead Calm premiere 5 times now and laughed my ass off each time. “Australian ginger actress….” LOL!!!

  25. Terryeo, I am starting to think that maybe you are actually intentionally working AGAINST the cult of $cientology by keeping this so entertaining to people like anonymous. By coming on here and instigating reactions out of $cientology’s critics, you are only fueling the resentment against $cientology.
Are you actually an anon or an OG pretending to be a $cientologist or something? If so, I kinda have to admit the lulz.

Otherwise, it amazes me how delusional you are. Your cult is a joke. Get used to it being treated, and referred to in that way. For decades, your cult has denied people the freedom to speak their minds about it through excessive abuse of the legal system with frivolous lawsuits. Anytime anyone dared to speak of $cientology in a less that glowing light, your cult would send out it’s army of lawyers & over-zealous culties (like you) to harass and overwhelm them into silence.
Your cult is the only one responsible for fueling the resentment against it like this (and other, worse ways), and people have been waiting YEARS to have their say. Countless numbers of people are uniting their voices and resources now, Terryeo. The media is starting to see that your cult is now too overwhelmed with way too many other issues to deal with a few jokes and scathing investigative reports the way it once could. My, how the tables have turned.

But why, Terryeo? What has your cult done to upset SO MANY people?
Scientology created it’s own enemies through it’s own, unethical actions and that’s all there is to it.
Your cult is flattering itself if it thinks it was taken seriously enough by any entity to be worthy of the kind of conspiracy that could generate what your cult is now witnessing. Especially when all that is needed to overwhelm your cult to the point of losing it’s power to intimidate the media into silence, is what your cult considers to be “a bunch of bored teenagers” having protest parties outside your “orgs” once a month.
This isn’t some global conspiracy, or that of a wealthy mastermind. This is just society finally putting a stop to something that has proven itself to be a problem, in it’s own natural, simple, way… by it’s people coming together to rise up against injustice.

  27. I think people would leave Scientology alone if Scientology left society alone. Scientology can’t interject their beliefs into society and expect people to accept what they disagree with. That would fall under the label of totalitarianism, you know, like the Nazis?

Furthermore, hiding Scientology behind their front groups (Narconon, Way To Happiness, Citizens Commission on Human Rights, Dianetics and Cult Watch– yes even Cult Watch–to name a few) is lying by omission, seeing that the core of all of these is Scientology and all funnel into Scientology.

  29. edit: OOPS!
I made a mistake when I said Cult Watch,
I meant CULT AWARENESS NETWORK. That is run by Scientology.
How creepy is that! What do you think society thinks when they hear that? They think WTF! That’s what.

  33. Thank you for taking the time to put this together. Yes it is satire, but in it’s truest form. I laughed my ass off. Nicole was fantastic and I loved the robotic Katie!

    Thanks again. Good job.

Maybe you can do a truthful satire on the life of lrh next. I’d give anything to see that.
