Dawn, I generally greatly respect your views and the way you cover events. I admire your unveiling of Scientology… but this article really disappointed me. You GREATLY oversimplify the situation of 9-11 and are buying into Democratic propaganda that is just as slimy as you claim the Republican’s is. Do I agree with most of the politics ads (on both sides)? No. But trying to pin a horrific catastrophe neatly on just one party when members of both party had information…it’s really just not cool. Hindsight is everything, unfortunately, and what seems so blindingly clear now was not at the time even to those who are paid to know.

Ok, B.O. will not recite the PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE! Is that who you want for the U.S.A. President? I’m not crazy about McCain (he is too old) but B.O. is for sure not a better choice here. In his book he wrote in his own words that he ceased to advertise his mother’s race because by doing so he was ingratiating himself to whites. He had animosity toward whites. When speaking about a white man in his book, he said that he was wary of him because he was white. He said he will stand with Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction. (read the books) Ok, I have a problem with him. I have to go with the lesser of the 2 evils…Hillary should have been the dems choice, period! She would have won the election!

I’ve been to glassbooth, and the only problem I can find with it is that it keeps changing my candidate. Of course, that’s probably because I keep changing my answers. Does that mean I’m flaky or just ADD?

I don’t necessarily agree that Republicans “brought us” 9/11. I think the seeds of 9/11 were sown many years ago, and we can’t sit and point fingers at any one political party and say they were any more or less responsible than the other. Mistakes have been made all around in both America and other countries which have brought these situations to a head.

But I do agree that attack ads, whether they be Republican or Democrat based, are reprehensible at worst and boring at best. Fortunately, I haven’t seen any Presidential ads on the TV. I swear, I haven’t seen any! What channel are they on?

does anyone know of an informative, unbiased website where i can compare the history/policies of the two candidates and make an educated decision? all i know is that obama says “change” all the time and that mccain is old. neither helps.
