Bounty Hunter Revoking Bond For Casey Anthony; Signs Point To The Death Of Caylee

Believe me, I take no joy in typing that title.

Bounty hunter Leonard Padilla, whom I took to the woodshed in my previous post for being a total tool in the hands of Casey Anthony, is finally showing some stones.  Casey Anthony made a fool of the wrong person, because now Padilla is trying to revoke the bond that is keeping Casey out of jail:

Eyewitness News was informed Thursday morning by bounty hunter Leonard Padilla that he’s beginning the process of having Casey Anthony’s $500,000 bond revoked after details emerged that suggest missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony is dead. Padilla said he’s working to determine the process and hopes to begin it Thursday afternoon or Friday.

Orange County detectives were expected to meet with the State Attorney’s Office to discuss new evidence in the Caylee Anthony case. A source close to the investigation confirmed for Eyewitness News, that FBI test results show hair and a stain in the trunk of Casey Anthony’s car belong to her daughter, 3-year-old Caylee Anthony. Eyewitness News was also told the evidence found proves that she is dead.

Casey has been offered limited immunity if she helps in the investigation; however, that offer has a time limit and the clock is ticking away.

(GlossLip has previously reported on the continuing investigation, and Dawn has done a wonderful job keeping us all up to date on the latest events in this horrid case.  I am merely attempting to keep everyone posted while she is out today; I’m sure she will have her own insights on the case later.)

It seems that there is definitive proof that the trunk of Casey’s car was used to transport a dead body:

Eyewitness News spoke to a forensic expert to find out how investigators are able to use DNA to determine that a dead body was in Casey’s trunk.

“Just putting the hair under the microscope one can tell the difference between a normal hair root and one that’s been infected with bacteria after death,” stated forensic expert Michael Baden.

Baden is a forensic pathologist who worked extensively on the OJ Simpson case. He also said the inside linings of the mouth and nose release fluid when they begin to decompose and that fluid can also be identified by DNA.

As much as I have totally railed against Padilla, he has sucked it up and admitted he was wrong:

“I was wrong,” said Padilla. “The people were right that said I should have left her in there.”

When asked where he thought Caylee was now, Padilla answered, “You know, the car was parked next to a dumpster. I would hate to think the worst. God, it’s terrible to think she’d be at the local garbage dump. It’s terrible to think that.”

In an interview Tuesday night on CNN’s Nancy Grace, Padilla said he doesn’t think he would have bonded Casey Anthony out of jail if he had read the information contained in 400 pages of documents released related to the case.

“After reading it, I don’t believe I would have talked my nephew Tony Padilla into posting the bond. And I don’t think I would have come to Orlando after reading that. I mean, I’m still hoping that little girl’s alive, but there’s a lot of information in those 400 pages that would lead those people to believe something different,” bounty hunter Leonard Padilla said during an interview with CNN’s Nancy Grace.

So Casey Anthony is enjoying her freedom, albeit for a possibly dwindling time, while her daughter is undoubtedly dead, probably killed by her mother’s hand.  While Casey was out partying the night away her little toddler daughter’s body was alone somewhere…a trash dump, a swamp, a grave dug in the dead of night.  Casey’s family continues to stand behind her even while all evidence points to her guilt.

I’ve said it before…in today’s modern digital age, where literally the whole world is linked via the internets and digital signals, it’s harder and harder to get away with something as heinous as this.  You can fool some of the people some of the time, and you can fool some of the people all of the time, but in this day and age you’ll never fool all of the world all of the time, and that’s exactly what Casey Anthony tried to do.

Welcome to Fail: Epic Division.

  1. Hurry please, and get this piece of crap right back in jail where she belongs and “God Bless little Caylee.” This whole story is so incredibly sad. That family needs to stop protecting Casey and face the facts, that they raised nothing but a lying, self centered monster that has no right to even exist after whats been done to that little angel.

  3. God bless sweet Caylee. The only thing Casey Anthony has said that’s true is that Caylee is safe. Caylee is in the care of Jesus now.Casey Anthony deserves NO MERCY.Even if Caylee died accidentally she still did not respect her enough or love her enough to give her a decent burial. She threw her away and partied instead. She is truly one of the most immoral, horrible people to walk this earth.

  7. I was extremely glad to hear that Padilla is yanking the bond and Casey will be going back to jail. She should have never been let out to begin with….but at least the guy admits his mistakes and is doing soemthing to correct it.

Hopefully, with this new evidence coming to light, Casey will be put under a close suicide watch until she is back in lock up. For some reason, I forsee her selfish ass wanting to take the easy way out.

    Peace Caylee.

  9. This is so so sad. My heart goes out to little Caylee, she was such an innocent little angel. As for Cayey, she needs to be punished severely for what she has done. Do not give her the death penalty, let her rot in jail, where all her fellow prisoners can remind her every day of what she done to Caylee. Casey is so screwed up in the head, no remorse, partying and laughing when she knew her daughter was dead. YOU SICK SICK PIECE OF TRASH!!!!

As for her attorney, I think he screwed up by taking this probono case. Although, I think his intentions were good in the begining. If only he could pull out like Padilla is doing.

God bless you little Caylee, and may your soul soon rest in peace.

  11. Death by lethal injection for Casey! It all starts with how you are raised by your parents. I am sure Cindy Anthony wears the pants in that family. Cindy Anthony seems like a wacko. It obvious the mom has raised Casey to be a spoiled brat with no boundries. Her child then turned into an uncontrolable teenager who had no respect for her parents and did whatever pleased her.Had she set boundries and disaplined her with she was little and enforced rules her daughter wouldnt have turned into a lying pychopath. I feel sorry for George. It is obvious he is a good man trapped in a situation with a wife who wears the pants in the family and controlled the run away destiny of their daughter.
Cindy Anthony will have to live with it now. Maybe she should of let her unstable wacko lying daughter give the child up for adoption. I think the reason she didnt is she wanted another child herself.

Are you hugging her now? Making her cookies?
Prompting her to prance around like a showdog in a find Caylee t shirt? Get real!
Your grandaughter is not here anymore thanks to your Evil daughter quite making excuses, make her tell the truth! Give the baby a decent burial!!!!

  15. Leonard Padilla has done the right thing!
Put her back in the cage where the evil monster belongs. She will adapt to prision just fine. She will be intriquing to alot of lonely female inmates. Looks like she was enjoying herself quite well in the party videos at the clubs with the other women.

  17. It is very likely that casey did not want caylee found for a month or two, because of evidence that she
was struck or otherwise harmed. Now….Casey can simply say it eas an accidential death, and she was scared, so she panicked and disposed of caylee in the
garbage, so it will be impossible for LE to find the remains. Without a cause of death, casey may get a lighter sentence for a crime of failure to report an accident, insted of the death penalty she deserves for this horrible crime against this little girl.

  19. this story is completely devastating…i hope they find caylee’s body so she can have a decent burial.

what really disgusts me is the wasted time and money everyone has spent trying to find this sweet little girl. the police could have been spending time on actual legitimate missing child cases, or any other cases for that matter. and in a time of near recession, the concerned community could have held on to their dollars instead of donating in the hopes of helping caylee’s family find her. how self-centered can you be to just sit there and let that many people waste their time? casey is sick.

  21. I think the idea of even offering this individual some form of immunity it ludicrous. They say it’s because law enforcement is sympathetic to it being an accident but friends, this was not an accident. I have read the 400 page report word for word and this woman is very, very sick. I’m sure you’ve heard about her not only stealing from her friends and parents but her 80 year old grandmother. Well in the report i read that she had recieved a check for her birthday from her grandmother and used the routing number to access this poor woman’s funds. That’s not a thief but a con-artist. Everything about Casey is premeditated and self-serving. I also saw that on July 2nd she went to a tatoo shop and got a tatoo on her shoulder “Bella Vita” which translates to beautiful life. So some 16 days after her daughter is missing she gets a permenent reminder that life is beautiful. Sick! Is it not obvious that she was happy she was gone and not just scared to come clean about an accident?

  23. I do think from the beginning that this horrible mother put beautiful little Caylee in a dumpster. This is my very strong theory from the beginning. How can the authorities fin out after such a long time?

I know that the body of a newlywed wife in Utah was disposed in a dumpster and her remains were found long after by searching the dump site area.

Could they try searching in that direction?

    God bless you little Angel

  33. As much as Casey is loathsome beyond belief, I’ve lost all patience with her lying parents. The whole family is in on this coverup and tragedy. They all belong in prison. Casey shouldn’t be offered a deal. She should be put on trial for murder. There’s plenty of circumstantial evidence. She deserves the Death Penalty. Life is beautiful. She doesn’t deserve anything more than eternal death in Hell.

  35. Word just came in that after a meeting in Anthony’s attorney’s office this mroning, Padilla is now saying that he will not revoke Casey’s bond! No explanation of why he is changing his mind again was given.

This statement coming only hours after Padilla stated to the media that he feels that Casey Anthony is “self centered”.

  37. Leonard Padilla has changed his mind and will not be revoking the bond.

    http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5h1Nac1XKmGDPZKMEdJOz4f2oHBzgD92S4DSG5

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A bounty hunter who helped free the mother of a missing Florida toddler said Friday that he won’t try to withdraw her bail after all.

Bounty hunter Leonard Padilla had said a day earlier that he would ask associates to revoke the $500,000 bail they posted for Casey Anthony, 22, last week. That would likely have forced her to return to jail.

He said he had concerns about the safety of Anthony and her family, but those concerns were being addressed after a meeting Friday with Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez. Both Padilla and Baez declined to discuss the concerns.

Police say Anthony is a person of interest in the disappearance of her daughter, 3-year-old Caylee, who hasn’t been seen since mid-June. Casey Anthony didn’t report her missing until July.

She faces charges of child neglect, obstruction and making false statements.

Padilla said after the meeting Friday that Anthony can remain free on bond as long as he is convinced she is safe.

Her family said freeing her on bond would help find Caylee.

But Padilla said Anthony has not been cooperating with efforts to find Caylee since her release from jail. There is a $225,000 reward for Caylee’s return. Baez was in a meeting later Friday and could not be reached for comment on the allegation that Anthony is not being helpful.

  39. I am starting to think that Padilla is as crazy as the rest of them. Just yesterday on Nancy Grace he was so disgusted and said that he was sending her back to jail….now he is changing his tune AGAIN. Kind of makes you wonder why? What was said to him in the lawyers office that made him change his mind?

I think it is all a bunch of crazy nonsense.

  49. This smell of decomposition in the trunk of Casey’s car…I would think that the day that the car was picked up, maybe that was the day that the body was removed from the trunk & disposed of. Isn’t it possible that it did not smell bad yet, that only after sitting in the heat and the stain that was in the trunk started smelling bad the longer it sat there in the hot trunk?
Cindy was the one who first reported the “smell of a dead body in the damn car!” I do not have experience in this area, but I would think that if someone is killed, that they don’t immediately start smelling on rotting flesh, but after 12-24 hours maybe that is wehn the smell of decomposing flesh would start smelling terrible.

  53. It was not Casey’s “Grandmother” that she stole the money from. It was her “Grandfather”, Cindy’s Dad. He is in a nursing home and the money was to pay for him staying there. He is the older man in the picture with Caylee on his lap that they have been showing so much.

The News reporter on Nancy Grace said tonight that BIG NEWS would be coming right away in regards to the dumpster next to the check cashing place. They say that the car was left there before daylight, so maybe Casey took Caylee out of the back of the car and threw her into the dumpster. Then she called Tony and had him come and pick her up and never even mentioned poor little Caylee!!! She lied about the car being out of gas. When George and Cindy went to the Impound Yard, they drove the car home, so it had gas in it.
