Not for any other reason than they made great music. But that was in their day. Even if this album is ever released I'm not spending one more cent on a bloke whose only interested in how hard he can pull himself in the morning. People get over him, he doesn't give a pigs bum about anyone but himself and the last ten years have proved it. Oh I'm making an album people. I really am making an album. The songs have been out in pirated versions for a while now, and they are REALLY good songs, but I am a good little fan and plan to buy the songs whenever Axl chooses to legally release them. Axl Rose is possibly being very clever about all this; the hype that follows this new album is transcending musical fans and getting people interested from all genres. Had he released the album in, say, 2000 I don't think it would have done as well, since other Guns members like Slash and Duff were doing Velvet Revolver, and it might have looked like they were just competing and could have affected sales.
