Casey Anthony’s Original Bond Revoked

It seems that the Padillas, the fame hunters bounty hunters from California who so amazingly believed Casey Anthony’s incredible stories about the disappearance of her daughter Caylee, have flip-flopped yet again and rescinded the original bond, leaving Casey Anthony in jail:

The $500,000 bond posted a week ago for the mother of a missing Florida girl was rescinded after she was taken back to jail on check fraud and theft charges, a bondsman said Saturday.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office investigators took Casey Anthony into custody at her home Friday night, just a week after she was released on bond for charges related to 3-year-old Caylee’s disappearance.

Anthony was being held on $3,000 bond on the new charges of uttering a forged instrument, fraudulent use of personal information and petty theft, Capt. Angelo Nieves said.

According to sheriff’s office reports, Anthony used a friend’s checkbook to buy items at Target and Winn-Dixie, and to write a check for cash in July.

The 22-year-old has already been charged with child neglect, making false statements and obstructing the investigation into her daughter’s disappearance.

“The allegations surfaced during the investigation but we had to do our due diligence,” Nieves said of the new charges.

On Saturday, a bondsman said the $500,000 bond posted for the charges related to Caylee’s disappearance was rescinded in the middle of the night, making it unlikely she will be released again.

California bail bondsman Tony Padilla said the bond was surrendered based on the latest charges, new evidence and “heightened security concerns” that he declined to describe.

And perhaps by the fact that he realized that the Two Stooges had been a complete tool in the hands of a mentally ill manipulator, who batted her eyes and cried a few crocodile tears and played on their sympathies.  Your fifteen minutes are up, go back to the magical land of make-believe, otherwise known as California (no offense to Californians).

Casey’s lawyer is, predictably, not thrilled with the latest turn of events:

At a press conference outside the Anthony family home, Casey Anthony’s attorney called her latest arrest “grandstanding” on the part of law enforcement.

“They are not searching for anyone,” attorney Jose Baez said. “They are disingenuous.”

No, the police took back control of a situation which had gotten completely out of hand.  These so-called world famous bounty hunters blew into town and tried to take control of a situation which they had no business whatsoever being involved in, and the Florida police rightfully took it back.  Besides, they don’t have to search for anyone…they’ve already found their murderer.  Alleged, of course:

Several people from a California bail bonds company helped Anthony post bond, saying she might be more likely to talk about her daughter’s disappearance if she were released from jail. But Padilla said Friday he no longer believes the girl is alive.

“Absolutely not,” he said.

Anthony family spokesman Larry Garrison called the arrest a “three-ring circus.”

That’s putting it mildly.

At least she is back in jail where she belongs.  She’s had her little moment in the spotlight, pampered and coddled by her amazingly in denial family, with her hot showers and her nice bed and her pizza and her six-hour lawyer meetings (what goes on in those meetings, anyway?  How long does it take to say, “Here is where Caylee is, here are the people who have her,” since that’s the angle she still chooses to work?  Or does she just sit around doing nothing?), she’s gotten more attention from more men (her lawyer, the bounty hunters) and now she needs to face the music.

Here’s the deal…there are too many unexplained things around this case.  The flurry of cell phone calls to Casey’s mother and father…the unexplained cell phone pings in a wooded area around the airport…the babysitter who does not exist, at least not as her babysitter…the three 911 calls made by Cindy Anthony, implicating her daughter, then her sudden about-face and professed belief in her daughter’s innocence…the warning by Casey’s father (a former detective) to a police officer that Casey isn’t telling all she knows…the “investigation” by Casey that took her to nightclubs and parties.  Too many loose ends that don’t tie to anything.  And the thing is, if you tell a lie long enough, and with enough conviction within yourself, you can make yourself believe your own lie.  Your lie then becomes your truth, at least in your little world.  And I believe this is what Casey Anthony has done…she’s lied so much that she believes her own lies.

The limited immunity deal expires at 9 AM Tuesday.  At least Casey won’t be enjoying a Labor Day cookout while her daughter’s body continues to decompose somewhere in a lonely grave, unlike her month of partying shortly after her daughter was “kidnapped”.  Don’t forget, this is the worried mama out looking for her baby, before she was forced to say Caylee was missing.  I don’t think your daughter is hidden in that guy’s crotch.

  1. I did read that there is a slight possibility that they might re-instate the $500K bond later next week,
however that is not confirmed. I wonder if Padilla
had some inside knowledge of the surprise arrest,
he was so certain that he was going to revoke the bond on Thursday August 29th and then Friday changed his mind. Attorney Baez said he had a faxed notice that she was going to be arrested for the petty theft charges, – maybe Padilla used that as an excuse to not revoke the bond and then after the police arrested her – got Al Estes the Florida bondsmen to come in and rescind it. That way Padilla doesnt look
like the “bad guy” – or thats what Padilla thinks anyway. We all know he wasnt wearing a white cowboy hat in this farce!

  3. I’m so tired of hearing the attorney and parents saying “you don’t know the whole story.” Well, TELL SOMEONE the whole story. In the meantime, the team from Texas with Beth Holloway is in Florida searching. If the attorney and parents are so convinced of Casey’s knowledge, why don’t they call off the search? Why don’t they go get Caylee? The family should get the bills for all of this when all is said and done.

  5. I was thinking the same thing. Seems like they have contributed NOTHING financially to finding Caylee. They even got there daughter out of jail for free. Its so sad. I am glad that casey is back in jail and won’t be getting out. I couldn’t stop thinking about the Melinda / Trenton Duckett case. Trenton has been missing for two years now and most likely we will never know what happened to him because his whereabouts were buried with his mother when she decided to take her own life. I was really concerned that Casey would do the same thing.

Hopefully this case comes to a conclusion soon. God bless Caylee Anthony.

  7. I’m so sick of Cindy telling everyone they should be looking for Caylee, when her daughter isn’t doing a damn thing to help anyone. Hell, Cindy isn’t doing much other than blaming everyone else, yet defending her lying daughter who won’t give up any information on the whereabouts of Caylee. It’s a shame when a family cares more about protecting lying, manipulative piece of trash than trying to do anything for a poor, innocent child. I’m disgusted with that whole family- if you want your granddaughter found, get off your asses and quit telling everyone else to go find her. At least pretend that you care about that child more than your worthless daugther if you want people to believe anything that comes out of your mouths…

  9. I understand that Cindy Anthony asked for TES to come in to search. She knows that part of their searching is for the dead as well as the living. There is no
way that George Cindy and Lee really believe that Caylee is alive – their pretense and denial when faced with having to see Casey daily waiting for her to tell the truth must be an agony. I think that they have taken this attitude because unless they appear to be supporting her, they feel they will never know the truth. Cindy is on record many times in those 400 pages of evidence stating to Casey’s friends that Casey is a sociopath, liar and thief.
She knows her daughter, they may have decided to take this tact to try to get her to eventually tell them the truth. Unfortunately I dont think they really have any idea how bad Casey really is. She’s not going to tell anyone anything – not even her attorney
and she isnt going to kill herself either – she is too much of a narcissist to do that. Take a close look at her in those videos – I have never, ever seen anyone and certainly not a 22 year old who shows absolutely no emotion whatsoever on being hauled back and forth to jail. Its absolutely chilling – a case for the record books. She truly must be mentally ill
but not in the way of Andrea Yates who simply drowned her children and then called the police. This is some thing else. Maybe none of us has ever gotten to see a real sociopath so up close. I remember the Menendez brothers who were arrested for killing their parents – they were both in their 20’s. They were found out quite fast, arrested and tried here in California and are now both serving life sentences without the possibility of parole – in different prisons. Also Scott Peterson too, but in many interviews he cried and got all emotional, saying how much he loved Lacey – he is on death row – awaiting execution. What makes these people what they are — is it nature or nurture, I wonder.

  15. While I read with growing horror the details of this case I think it should be said that it is not the role of the media to judge this “mother”.

Indeed we all want to let our outrage be known but in doing so we risk undermining the legal process. I’m sure at some point her lawyers will argue that a fair trial is impossible due to the negative press she has received.

So in closing let me say I understand you views and that this is an opinion page not a news page but we all need to balance our comments until the verdict is in.

Other than that keep fighting the good fight.

  17. I got this off of http://www.wesh.com channel 2 in Orlando
Florida – investigators confirmed that a dead body was in the trunk of the car and that body was Caylee Marie Anthony

    From wesh.com – Sunday August 31, 2008:
ORLANDO, Fla. — For the first time on the record on Sunday, Orange County investigators acknowledged that recent FBI lab tests confirmed that Caylee Anthony’s body was in her mother’s trunk and that the child is dead.

Evidence from a Central Florida body farm showed that an odor emitted from Casey Anthony’s car’s trunk was human decomposition.

A lead investigator in the case told WESH 2’s Bob Kealing that lab results indicated Caylee’s dead body was in the trunk of that car. Sources also confirmed that a stain in the trunk was not what clinched the decision that Caylee was in the trunk, but it was the strands of hair that investigators suspected all along were Caylee’s.

Investigators had not, until Sunday, disclosed that the decomposing body was, in fact, Caylee.

“The information we’ve gotten back from the lab that she was in the trunk of that car and that she is dead is certainly something we take seriously,” said Orange County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. John Allen.

The 3-year-old’s grandmother, Cindy Anthony, called 911 in June saying she had not seen her granddaughters in several days and her daughter’s car smelled like a dead body.

Cindy Anthony later rescinded her comment, saying the smell was an old pizza and some cleaning fluid.

On Sunday, 150 volunteers came out to help Texas Equusearch, an organization using computer mapping and other high-tech means to try to find some evidence of Caylee Marie Anthony.

“We’ve come across a lot of areas,” said Mandy Albritton with Texas Equusearch. “We’ve ruled out a lot of areas she’s not, so that’s progress.”

Orange County detectives are directing search teams to areas associated with their investigation, like a wooded area near the Amscot where Casey Anthony abandoned her car.

“The information we’ve gotten back from the FBI lab has clearly helped us focus our investigation,” Allen said.

Police sources said the lab test that clinched the decision was on strands of hair belonging to Caylee that showed signs of decomposition. However, those tests did not provide a probable cause for how the child’s body ended up in the trunk. Investigators said they’re continuing to look into that.

“I want an apology from Sheriff Kevin Beary,” Cindy Anthony said.

Meanwhile, Cindy Anthony said she’s still fuming over her daughter’s re-arrest on Friday. She refuses to buy into evidence that her granddaughter is dead.

“We need to start looking for a little girl that’s walking and living and breathing and someone actually has her,” Cindy Anthony said.

Sheriff’s investigators said the timing of the arrest Friday was not orchestrated. They said these latest economic crime charges are a separate matter from the child neglect case.

With two new felony counts and one misdemeanor, Casey Anthony is now facing to 17 years in prison if convicted of everything.

  21. How very sad I feel for this little angel Caylee. It breaks my heart to think of Caylee laying in some dirt pile. How could Casey kill her baby.,and think she could ever get away with this horrible crime. I do believe she has mental problems, she has actually convinced herself and her family that Caylee was kidnapped. As a mother I don’t know what I would do or say to my daughter other than ask her why? Why couldn’t she just give Caylee to her mother and father. She then would be free to go live the life she so badly wanted. She truly must have hated her parents so much that she would rather kill her baby than let Caylee live with her mother, and father. In a way I blame Cindy for not allowing Casey to give Caylee up for adoption. Caylee could have been placed in a loving home, and Casey could have done what most 19 year girls do, have fun. Now an entire family is torn apart, and will spend the rest of their lives crying for Caylee, and Casey.

I pray this family will accept that Caylee is gone, and try to forgive Casey for what she has done to Caylee. In the end Casey will face a higher power. I hope she repents and she willl ask God for forgiveness.

    God Bless our Angel Caylee

  23. I am very thankful that I have these websites to vent my total frustration over this case.Everyone has an opinion, and it helps to be able to read what other people allover the country are thinking. While I agree everyone is innocent until proven guilty,I must say all the evidence points to Casey guilt. When I say all the evidence I don’t mean what the police have.Since Cindy and Jose Baez are claiming the police have leaked information that is not true and are misinforming the public I have only looked at the info provided or lack there by Casey and the rest of the Anthony’s to form my opinion.Just about everything that they have said on one day has been recanted or changed the next day. Trying to get a simple answer out of them is impossible.I heard Cindy say on the Today show that she never said “Casey needs to be out of jail to help find Caylee”.Now unless I’m cracking up,I know she said that. Cindy said “the puzzle pieces were coming together” she never elaborated on what pieces and has never mention the puzzle since.George said they are watching the people who have Caylee or may have Caylee again no more has been said about that either.I thought the Anthony’s have a spokesperson to deal with the maggot media(Cindy’s words)so why is Cindy still out there running her b.s. stories. There are no rational explainations for this story, because we are dealing with irrational people. To be able to go in front of national tv cameras with a straight face and say the things they have said ,even when they contradict themselves and can be proven a liar at every turn is not normal.I think that is what has the public so frustrated,if only someone would tell the truth and but an end to this. Give Caylee a decent burial.

  27. It is obvious the little girl is dead. However, I think more than Casey was involved in this crime. Her daddy is probably the one who got rid of the body. That’s why he gets on tv and tries to insuate that Caylee is alive and he knows who has her and they’re being watched. What a crock. if you know who has your granddaughter then go get her, don’t just watch them. How bizarre. Casey is a liar and a disgrace as a human being, but she is definitely not smart enough to dispose of a body as well as it is apparently hidden. George Anthony, however, is an ex cop who would know exactly what to do to get rid of a body so that it would have the least chance of being found. I’m sure Cindy washing Casey’s dead body smelling clothes was also not an accident. These two parents are covering up a murder and they are nothing more than accomplices to it. They need to go to jail along with their daughter because I’m sure that when all the evidence is in, it will be proven that Casey’s mommy and daddy share the blame. This entire family is a blight on humanity!!!

  29. It has been a sad day to learn that Little Caylee is no longer among us. Finding that Casey, the mother, has told countless lies about her little girl and, her whereabouts indicates to me that Casey is hiding something and/or she does not want to incriminate anyone else in the crime. If that is the case, who is she protecting by not talking? I can’t help but believe that there are others involved in the death of this child and, hiding and destroying the evidence. Cindy has done everything in her power to cover up for her daughter Casey. George has a terrible temper, even when the reporter asked him if he felt little Caylee was dead. During all the interviews that Cindy had done it was all about her and her daughter, Casey. Sure the mother claims that her daugher is a socoipath. Why not? This would be the perfect opportunity for Casey to plead “insanity” and walk away from all of this.

I am not worried about Casey getting a fair trial as I have spoke to several people that are not following the story at all. They knew of the little girl missing, but did not know of the extensive investigation. The courts needs to ask for a change of venue for Casey to be tried. Let justice be served in the memory of that precious little girl.
