Protesters Act Like Good Parental Role Models In Front Of Casey Anthony’s Home
UPDATE #2: According to The Criminal Report Daily, here is why Casey was arrested again:
CAYLEE ANTHONY UPDATE 13
September 15, 2008
Casey Anthony faces new chargesOrange County investigators from the agency’s Economic Crimes Squad have arrested Casey Anthony for Uttering a Forged Instrument, Petit Theft, and Criminal Use of Personal Information in connection with their ongoing investigation into Ms. Anthony’s illegal use of a friend’s bank account. The defendant was arrested without incident at the Orange County Jail following a scheduled visit with her home confinement release supervisor. She was with counsel at the time of her arrest and is expected to remain in custody until her first appearance tomorrow morning.
We will post the report/charging affidavit on our web site when it becomes available.

UPDATE: Casey has been arrested yet again. No word yet on exactly what the charges are although they could relate to theft from one of Casey’s friends.
And just in case you’re confused, the title is sarcasm.
First, let’s try and quickly get up to speed on the latest news in this sordid, never-ending case. Over the weekend, investigators released recordings of Casey Anthony’s interrogation:
A series of responses given by Casey Anthony during police interviews are not consistent with a desperate mother who wants to find her daughter, a psychologist told Local 6.
“Most people who are interviewed by police officers don’t manage their emotions that well,” Dr. Deborah Day said of Casey Anthony during questioning over her daughter. “They get upset, they get agitated and they get angry.” [...]
The last time I got pulled over by the police on a minor speeding infraction, I got upset. I can’t imagine what it would be like to be interrogated by the police if one of my children was missing.
In the interviews conducted on July 16, Casey continued to be a tough nut to crack:
“What happened to Caylee,” an investigator asks on the tape.
“I don’t know,” Casey Anthony said.
“Sure you do,” and investigator said.
“I don’t know,” Anthony said.
“Listen, something happened to Caylee,” an investigator said. “We’re not going to discuss where the last time you saw her (was). I’m guessing something bad happened to her some time ago and you haven’t seen her, so that part is true — is you haven’t seen her because she’s somewhere else right now.”
“She’s with someone else right now,” Anthony said.
“She’s either in a Dumpster right now, she’s buried somewhere, she’s out there somewhere and her rotten body is starting to decompose because what you’re tellING us…,” an investigator said. “Here’s the problem. The longer this goes, the worse it’s going to be for everyone. Right now, everything you’ve told us — we’ve locked you into a lie. Every single thing that you’ve told us has been a lie.”
Day said the only time she heard Casey Anthony get emotional on released tapes is when she talks about her relationship with her mother, Cindy. and not her daughter, Caylee, Local 6’s Jessica D’Onofrio reported.
A detective was pressing Casey Anthony about how she wasn’t living up to her mother’s expectations.
You can hear the recordings here. The parts involving Cindy are pretty interesting, especially as there has been speculation that Casey murdered little Caylee as revenge against her mother. Casey also pled “not guilty” to ten check fraud charges, the basis of her latest arrest. Slowly but surely the police are building their case.
In the meantime, the neighbors of Cindy and George Anthony are fed up with the noise and behavior of protesters at the Anthony house and are trying to stop further demonstrations:
Protesters angry at her mother, Casey, who faces a child-neglect charge, ate fast food on the sidewalk and smoked cigarettes outside her home in east Orange County. They cursed at family members as they came and left. Family members cursed back.
Then Casey’s brother Lee Anthony blazed into the driveway in a black Ford Mustang, missing a family of protesters — including two school-age girls and a toddler — by inches.
One girl bawled. Mothers shouted. Cameras surged forward to tape it.
“You can’t slow down to give them a chance to move!” a crowd member shouted.
Neighbors are so frustrated by such scenes that an attorney representing the homeowners association said she plans to ask a judge today or Monday to order the protesters to limit their activities.
“We do not care if the content supports or criticizes the Anthonys. What we hope to accomplish is to restrict the time, place and manner of the protest to reasonable activities and hours,” attorney Karen Wonsetler said. [...]
For the most part, protesters have gathered on the sidewalk or the patch of grass between the sidewalk and street — all considered public property.
Deputy Carlos Padilla of the sheriff’s office said that if a judge decides to limit protests they must tread carefully because of the First Amendment right to gather.
“Our legal staff will work that out and figure what has to be done,” Padilla said. “It’s upsetting to the Anthonys and their neighbors, but it is a touchy subject and we have to be careful.”
A group of protesters and Cindy Anthony almost came to blows over the weekend, this time with children being involved:
Around 12 a.m. on Sunday morning, a woman, who was accompanied by her child, began yelling at Casey Anthony’s mother, Cindy.
“She didn’t want that baby, so she could go and party. Stay up late and drink beer. You’re protecting her!” the unidentified woman screamed from across the street.Cindy Anthony was hammering “No Trespassing” signs on her lawn when she confronted the protesters.
Cindy: “See it, see it. Come here [expletive]!”Protester: “I see your [expletive] face. I see your face. Why are you sitting there protecting her?”Cindy: “I’m not protecting her! This is her home.”Supporters of the Anthony family tried to defuse the situation, but Cindy continued after the child joined the exchange of words.
Cindy: “She’s not worth it.”
Child Protester: “Don’t you dear talk to my mom that way!”
Cindy: “Why don’t you learn some manners!”Cindy then threatened to call the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and file a complaint on this mother.
Cindy: “DCF needs to be called on you for teaching your child that.”
Protester: “Call them! At least I know where my child is!”The protester continued to shout at Cindy, even after George Anthony cames out of the house.
Protester: “Have your little body guards go and protect you.”
Cindy: “I don’t have any body guards right now. I’m fine.”As the protesters packed into their sport utility vehicle to drive away, Cindy appeared to have lost patience.
Cindy: “You call her a [expletive] one more time.”
Protestor: “What are you gonna do [expletive]?”
Cindy: “Don’t call my grand daughter a [expletive].”
Protester’s Friend: “You’re gonna go to jail.”A video recording of the confrontation reveals that the little boy, who accompanied his mother, got his arm caught in the door of the SUV. “Ow my arm,” he screamed. Even though he complained of being injured, it didn’t stop him from yelling out, “I hope you die!”
All right, that’s it. I mean, what is wrong with people? Look, I’m all for protesting of something you don’t agree with. There are law-abiding, civil, peaceful ways of going about it. There have been plenty of instances in which protesters show up, have their legal protest, and go on their way, with no harm and no foul involved. I totally understand the frustration in this case, compounded by Casey’s lies and the apparent willingness of the Anthony family to believe them (and smear Tim Miller of EquuSearch in the process). But this is completely and totally ridiculous. People are at this house at all hours of the day and night, screaming and yelling and running in the yard and knocking on the door and totally acting like brainless moronic imbecilic idiots, and then act surprised when the Anthonys get mad at them. Golly gee, I wonder why? You can watch moar videos for yourself: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4. I wish this were an isolated incident…sadly, it is not, it’s just the latest one.
I totally believe that Casey Anthony is guilty of killing her daughter and hiding her body somewhere. If you agree, fine, and if not, fine…the least I think we can agree on is that she knows more than she is telling and has been less than truthful in this investigation. And I believe her parents are guilty of raising a spoiled brat of a daughter. Are they guilty of more than that? I don’t know…maybe yes, maybe no. I do believe that at the least they are guilty of doing an about-face and suddenly believing everything their lying daughter says. However, does that then give me the right to show up at their house and act the fool? What is it about people, when they see a case like this, makes them want to not only watch it but to become part of the story itself?
Cindy Anthony certainly doesn’t make things any easier on herself, stomping around her yard with her little hammer and engaging in cursing contests with the protesters…what, she can’t get someone, perhaps one of the security team they have hired, to fix the yellow tape for her? She doesn’t cut a real sympathetic figure. It isn’t too hard to, I don’t know, stay in the house? It’s like she wants confrontation. She doesn’t have to be out there, yet she goes out there.
All the protesters are doing is feeding the martyr complex the family has. They are not accomplishing anything positive. And the woman digging through their trash is, in my opinion, possibly getting in the way of a proper police investigation. Even if she were to find something, the argument could be made that she planted it there. After all, the search was not conducted by the police, was it? Doesn’t take a Harvard law education to figure that out. If it was an important piece of information, it might even have to be thrown out. And frankly, the protesters are tying up police who could better be used elsewhere. I’d hate to have a genuine emergency and have to wait on a police officer because they were tied up at the Anthony home. They complain about this process being a waste of taxpayer money…well, this is a better use of it? Having to constantly call the police because people can’t respect boundaries and rules? Why can’t people just stay out of the way and let the police do their jobs?
The people protesting are saying they are being a “voice for Caylee.” Bull. All they are really doing is trying to insert themselves into a story which was never about them to start with under the misguided pretentions of being “Caylee’s voice.” If they REALLY cared about Caylee, they would put down their signs and get their sorry butts out there and look for her. But that wouldn’t get them on the news as fast as acting like a monosyllabic knuckle-dragging troglodyte in front of the Anthony’s house, would it? It’s a lot easier to hold a sign and yell than it is to get out there and do some grunt work and put your back into finding Caylee. Way to take the focus OFF Caylee and put it on yourselves, you bunch of idiots.
I’m going to just go out on a limb and say it and if you don’t agree with me, then that’s fine. But if you’re a so-called parent out at MIDNIGHT with young children screaming at someone’s house that the occupants are unfit parents, and you get into a shouting, cussing, verbal altercation with them WHILE holding a crying baby, and your CHILD starts hollering stuff like “I hope you die!”, and the entire time little kids are yelling and crying and getting hurt, and the ”parents” are acting in complete disregard for their own children’s safety and emotional well-being, then it’s entirely possible you are a bad parent yourself. The children are being taught that it’s perfectly acceptable to act like a brainless thug as long as you believe you are right. People like this are no better than Casey, the only difference is their children are still breathing.
Why yes, I did say that.
Please donate to EquuSearch so we can bring this little angel home.
We are a blog, not hard-hitting news. These are our opinions. GlossLip has continuing coverage of the disappearance of Caylee Anthony here.

I completly agree with every point you made. That scene on Saturday night was horrifying. I hope someone reported those people to DCF.

I couldn’t agree with you more. I just watched the videos and was appauled, what do they think they’re accomplishing? I really feel for all the neighbors, my godness, could you imagine?
Comment by Heather — September 15, 2008 @ 11:18 am
“….the least I think we can agree on is that she knows more than she is telling and has been less than truthful in this investigation.”
I’m not ready to call her a murderer, child killer or any of the harsh things that have been hurled at the Anthony home recently! LIAR is the best I can come up with and even that is a hard thing for me to say… I’ve never called anypne a liar in my life, but then again I’ve never seen the likes of Casey Anthony in my life either!
The protestors are IMO discusting examples of human life… they’re adding to the circus and taking away from the real issue… FINDING CAYLEE! Whether we find her aloive and well (we can only pray to God for this miracle) or whether we find her body, we need to find Caylee!
I love your opinions on the case and find this web site interesting and enlightening… living in PA makes me feel helpless to do anything worhtwhile in the search… all I can do is pray and hope that an end will come soon…
Peace,
Linda

Finally someone else out there thinks there protesters have gone nuts. What parent in there right mind would have there children out all hours of the night, and teach them to to behave that way. If my child told someone he hopes they died, there would be heck to pay. Who teaches there kid to say that or even allow thwem to say it.
Comment by Buffy — September 15, 2008 @ 11:30 am
I totally agree with you. These thugs showing up in the middle of the night are there to start arguements and bait the Anthonys into shouting matches. The only thing they are accomplishing is getting their faces on the news and disturbing the people in this neighborhood that have nothing to do with this case.
Comment by Denise — September 15, 2008 @ 11:40 am
The “prostesters” are the same people that you see on “COPS” every Saturday night. You know, the ones without their shirts, baby on their hip and always a cigarette hanging out of their mouth. Pure White Trash always looking for a fight and they found the perfect place to exhibit their skills – at the Anthony home, where in my opinion, the people that live there are just one step above being called white trash themselves. Cindy Anthony seems to be provoking things as much as the protesters. She wants to fight as bad as they do. Why don’t the Anthonys leave, go into hiding until this blows over? At least don’t come out of their house just to hammer signs at midnight. Maybe the reason is that deep down they are loving it as much as the prostesters are.
Comment by Rowdysgirl — September 15, 2008 @ 12:05 pm
Though i do not agree with the violence at the home i surely do understand the anger.
So many people from so many places have their hearts so deep into this and want to find peace in such a horrible situation.
if casey would just open and tell the truth all this violence and anger would be set aside and the real mourning can begin within all of us. She is too blame for all that is happening. She knows what she is doing! She is loving every single minute of the spotlight…good or bad. In her eyes she has done nothing wrong. No remorse, no guilt..nothing.
I am astounded how cindy says no one is looking for caylee. Thousands of volunteers have come out to pray and search for the poor innocent child. I can’t imagine how it could feel to lose a child but to protect the one that that hurt the child is purely disgusting!
maybe if all the protesters got togther and volunteered rather than causing disruption to the neighbors that don’t deserve it would be more a tribute to remembering caylee. we can find this litte girl. Lets punish Casey by finding Caylee.
my prayers are with her.
Comment by Stacy — September 15, 2008 @ 12:08 pm
All the protesting in the world right outside of the Anthony home is not doing anything to find Caylee. More effort to locate her is needed and should be treated as “high priority” by the protestors. No amount of protesting, screaming profanities back and forth is going to make Casey talk. Please – look for Caylee or stay at home and pray.
Comment by Marilyn — September 15, 2008 @ 12:19 pm
I disagree. Casey Anthony is an evil lying sociopath who killed her daughter and refuses to admit it. The Anthonys are wrong for harboring and protecting this child killer. What did they expect would happen? Society doesn’t approve of women who “lose” their children, lie about it, and then go flouncing around town in sunglasses like a movie star. It is an outrage and what we’re seeing is just the natural reaction of society to it. At times the reaction is not pretty.
There should only be three options for the Anthonys: Casey can tell the truth, Casey can go back to jail, or the Anthonys lives can be s***. There should be no fourth option.
Comment by Candee — September 15, 2008 @ 12:20 pm
Gosh! I am not commenting to take sides but I just have to comment on that protester.
If I had to choose between Cindy Anthony and that Protester to leave my children with I most definately would choose Cindy. That woman could not control her anger and to expose her son and encourage him to express anger like that can’t be too healthy.
But what upset me the most watching this video was the protester had no motherly compassion to see if her son was alright or to hug and hold him. What she should have done at that moment was shut her mouth and attend to her child.
How can that mothers anger be stronger than showing compassion to her own little boy????
Comment by Gail — September 15, 2008 @ 12:49 pm
As always, well written. I agree with everything.
I don’t understand how people can protest about Casey being an unfit parent while they bring their children to a protest where there have been fights- both verbal and physical-, etc. What would happen if another fight broke out and a child was in the middle of it? People are already emotional over all of this, and when you have people so full of emotion, and they become provoked whether by the Anthony’s or other protesters, it is just NOT a good environment for children. And the child who told Cindy “I hope you die!”. Wow. Just wow. If either of my girls ever spoke to anyone (I don’t care how evil Cindy comes across, a young child has no business saying anything like that to anyone. And the parents, by yelling and such, are only provoking and encouraging that behavior and showing the child that it’s “alright”) in such a way, they’d be getting an earful.
I fully support protests if people do not agree with something, but what is going on with this whole thing is disgusting. If these people really cared about Caylee, they would be forming search teams with each other instead of provoking the Anthony’s (please don’t think I’m implying they are victims, but seriously, the family is nutty enough, why bother? Provoking them won’t do any good, and it surely won’t help find Caylee) and disturbing the neighbors. And to bring children at all hours of the night to show them how all the thuggish adults act (hey kids, it’s okay to act like that, see how the other adults are acting? Yeah, because kids don’t imitate their surroundings and what they are exposed to….) is just disgusting.
For the sake of the neighbors, I hope this circus ends. I hope these people finally get the sense that “hey, if we actually go search for Caylee, it will get more accomplished than what we are doing now”. And most important, I hope Caylee is finally found and laid to rest properly. It’s not about Casey, it’s not about Cindy or George or Lee, it is about that beautiful girl who never got to celebrate her third birthday.
Comment by delilah — September 15, 2008 @ 1:11 pm
They were nothing but white trash. I could not believe what i saw, first they took those children out there at 12am, to confront cIndy She allowed her own child to run his mouth to Cindy. The little baby was clearing upset from his mom yelling at Cindy, and she just let him cry, and be apart of such nonsense. This shows why children grow up to have problems, and have no clear sense of any morals or respect for others. They are no better than Casey.
Comment by abby — September 15, 2008 @ 1:21 pm
Why does Cindy keep going outside, she continues to give the protestors opportunities to mess with her. She enjoys it, otherwise she would stay her butt in the house, I have no pity whatsoever for her, if she wasn’t wanting the attention she wouldn’t be running out there everyday with a hammer to beat on those damn signs, that is just her excuse to get outside so she can run her mouth. Why do you think Casey is so messed up, Cindy is a walking physcopath.
Comment by Pamela — September 15, 2008 @ 1:57 pm
Here’s a bright idea:
Tell us where Caylee is and the protesters will all go away!
Comment by Candee — September 15, 2008 @ 2:00 pm
I cannot understand the rational behind these protesters. Not only do I disagree with them protesting but I disagree with them bringing their children. What they are teaching their children is despicable. The fact that the little boy also was injured is inexcusable. What has happened to people? Have they lost their minds? This basically has nothing to do with them. They should mind their own affairs. Yes it is a tragedy what happened to this little girl. But why are these people putting themselves into a situation which has nothing to do with them and putting their own children in harms way? I just cannot comprehend why these people are doing this. They must have some deep seated issues that they need to seek professional counseling for. They should put this energy into searching for Caylee. I think people should try and put themselves in the shoes of the Anthony’s. What if this were our daughter? How would our coping skills kick in? Regardless of whether Casey is guilty or not, The Anthony’s are coping the only way they know how, and who is to say we would be any different if we were in their shoes. Sure you can only imagine what you would do when it hasn’t happened to you and sure you can imagine what you would do when it is not someone you love that is accused of a crime. It might be hard for you to believe it also. Look at the way these protesters are acting and they do not even know Kaylee on a personal level and yet they are acting irrationally. How would they act if roles were reversed? Any different? I think not. All of us are in denial when it comes to someone we love, it is easier to see the truth when our hearts are not involved. And when our hearts are involved we tend to see what we want so desperately to believe in. I wish these people would leave these people alone.
Comment by Just me — September 15, 2008 @ 2:23 pm
#9: I disagree as well. Just because it is a “natural reaction” doesn’t make it the right reaction.
Sometimes we have to stifle our natural reactions. That’s called self-control, and unfortunately entirely too few people know how to use it.
Comment by k — September 15, 2008 @ 2:33 pm
Saying that the protesters are no better than Casey is absurd. A child who accidentally trips and hurts his arm is not the same as a child who is murdered! And maybe it wouldn’t have happened if Big Mouth Cindy hadn’t gone barging over to yell at the child’s mother. (And she backs right down as soon as the woman steps out of the car, what a wimp!) The Anthony’s have waived a red flag at a bull. The “bull” being society. Psychopath Casey Anthony has surpassed even the most notorious mom-murderers including Susan Smith and Diane Downs, and now she is out running loose in society. The Anthonys deserve every second of grief they get. Oh and by the way where is “innocent” Casey who wanted to hold her head up high and proud? Hiding in her house? Why doesn’t she come out and deal with the crowds for a while and give her parents a break?
Comment by Candee — September 15, 2008 @ 2:34 pm
Thank you, thank you! I have called OPD and they tell me its not illegal to have a child out there nor is it illegal to have them out at midnight. BULL!!! but they won’t do anything about it.
I also contacted FOX news. They want to be all over the case, then why not approach some of those irresponsible parents who call themselves “adults” and are nothing but “fame-seekers” and antagonistic idiots. FOX did NOTHING! they told me that they had other calls about it and they would do something about it. Again, BULL.
I don’t care if Cindy is protecting her daughter, I don’t care if the Anthony’s are lashing out at these people or not. That’s their right and whether they are right or wrong is not for me to decide. I am neither a judge on their case nor God.
What’s it goin to take? a child getting seriously hurt out there? oh, I bet they would be quick to blame it on one of the Anthony family members. NO, if your child gets hurt, YOU are responsible, YOU took the child there. Deal with it!
Thank you for the opportunity to vent. This has been eating at me since I saw the first child in the midst of an altercation.
Comment by Mary — September 15, 2008 @ 2:54 pm
Oh, I know some of you may say I am judging those parents after I say I am not going to judge the Anthony’s
I know it looks like that, but the difference is, I am fighting for the children who are being subjected to that hostile situation by stating a fact: Their parents are irresponsible by bringing them there. I do not have “facts” about whether Cindy is protecting her daughter who may or may not have killed that child.
The fact is something happen to that child and yes, Casey appears to be directly responsible for it but until they find out (if they ever find out) what really happened, then its “speculation” not a fact.
I believe too much emphasis is being put on Casey and her family and not enough on looking for Caylee, who is the ONLY victim here.
Comment by Mary — September 15, 2008 @ 2:59 pm
***BREAKING NEWS*** Casey Anthony just arrested! For the third (and hopefully final) time. Now if everyone is real smart and she is LEFT IN JAIL the protesting in front of the Anthony’s home will stop.
Comment by Candee — September 15, 2008 @ 3:05 pm
All of them need to go home, they are only making the situation worse. The Anthonys should turn on sprinklers all over their lawn at night, they could get the kind you control from inside. I don’t think Cindy should talk to any of them. Cindy is definitely trying to protect Casey, if she wasn’t she’d kick her out into the mob of protesters and let her deal with them. I wonder how much more evidence will be revealed to the public before the November trial…
Comment by Christie — September 15, 2008 @ 3:22 pm
Well written !!I agree with the fact that the women should not have been there that late and acting that way in front of their kids. However, I don’t feel sorry for the Anthony’s in the least! They deserve whatever they get!! They are prisoners of their own home!!As far as I’m concerned let the protesters keep protesting!!They are ALL liars and do not deseve to live a peacefull life. What Casey,Cindy,Lee and George ALL have done is unthinkable!!The parents and brother know what Casey has done and are covering for that POS!!! I personally loved the lady with the large dog and sign(that read I wouldn’t let my DOG go missing for 31 days!) who sat quietly in their front yard. Hat’s off to her! I wish I knew her name and # to call and tell her JOB WELL DONE! Honestly I think she along with the fake tomb stone guy angered the Anthony’s the most.Love IT!!!!!
Comment by AnniRay06 — September 15, 2008 @ 3:41 pm
Just a thought – perhaps the protesters are hoping that they can provoke one of this family of swine into slipping up and blurting out something, like where the body is or whether they sold her to a kiddie-porn ring. They may be hoping to jar some info out of the people, I don’t know.
Saying that nothing can be done ‘until and unless’ they find the kid is sickeningly similar to the advice of Joren (Urine) van derSlut’s father, in Aruba, after he and his friends murdered the Alabama girl – “If there is no body, there is no crime”. If society uses this as the rule in such cases, one can only suppose that the sales of wood chippers and industrial platic shredders will skyrocket as people with grudges and serial killers catch on.
Comment by Heath Jayman — September 15, 2008 @ 3:42 pm
I totally agree with your opinion of the absurdity of the protesters and I think that children should be left out of it. It is unfair to cloud their minds with the nightmare of what could have happened to Caylee. This behavoir by their parents also shows them that acting uncivilized is okay.
I have been thinking a lot about the public reaction to this case. It has affected the core of our hearts and minds. Think of the Scott Peterson case and the reacton outside of the courthouse when he was found guilty. It was barbaric. It was a lynch mob. Just like this one.
I think the anger comes from the denial and lies this family tells. Cindy went to the media full storm on every channel at first. She GOT US INVOLVED. But, she and the rest of the Anthonys wanted the story and the facts to be on their terms. They changed their stories over and over and we were supposed to follow them and believe them as things changed and changed. That is why I do not believe Cindy & Co. They would have evoked sympathy and support all the way if they had remained in the background and let LE do it’s job. The Anthony’s want us to believe and follow them around with the panel truck when we all know the baby is gone. Logical folks cannot jump on their “band wagon” because it is false. They only want us to know what they want us to know and nobody better argue, or show real evidence. THEY have created the media circus (the monster) all of the media circus is their own words. And then the world’s incredulous shock at their words. What do they expect?
Human beings have a tendency to rally for the truth. We become primitive in our emotions and reactions. What is happening is to be expected.
I am sick of seeing C or G dialing a cell phone everytime the protesters are approached by them. They should stay in the house or go on a trip – I am sure they can afford it now. Totally ignore the masses and they will eventually go away. I feel so bad for the police dept. having to respond to their constant phone calls.
Once Casey is arrested for murder or in jail for a while on the other counts – this will cease. Better sooner than later.*

So to add to my comment above> I feel the protesters SHOULD be there. Maybe in the long run this will help to save other innocent little lives . People will see that they can’t just do something this awfull and that the world will just roll over and let them get away with it!!The evidence is there and continuing to pile!! As far as I’m concerned they are getting the treatment they deserve!!!

As I have said, both in the article and on the BTR Today show, there is a time and a place for peaceful, lawful protests. I am not against protesting.
But these so-called “protests” are going entirely too far.
And as far as this:
Funny, I thought that is what the police are there for. What, is it mob rule in America now? Vigilante justice rules this country? Here I thought we still operated under a system of law and order.

One of the interesting things regarding these confrontations is Cindy Anthony’s behavior. She goes out there in the yard, on the pretense of hammering down no trespass signs, or the other day I read she was weeding with a body guard standing near her. Why?
she doesnt need to do any of those things. There is a company you call that can put up a wire fence all around your property with a gate which is temporary
very fast and reasonably priced. Youve seen these fences, they are used a lot when a new building is being contructed. That would end anyone coming near their property and mark their properties borders. Also why does she go out there and do all this hammering and weeding herself? The yard looked fine to me – its like she puts herself out there on PURPOSE – she wants to provoke these outbursts, – I think she believes that it will draw sympathy for Casey from some quarters, or even draw sympathy for herself, George and Lee. If she didnt want confrontations she could go in and out of her house by car entering through the garage – why does she put herself out there for all to see and also to involve herself in these terrible fights. Everything they do is very calculated – I do not at all feel like some others that their “grief” is causing them to do these things.
Even if Caylee were alive they should be grieving and upset – but all I see is anger at the press, at Tim Miller, at everyone except Casey. If you listened to the interview tapes especially the ones made at Caseys home (rather than the tapes from the Universal
interview) I have never heard a smoother liar, and they were whoppers too – very detailed and everyone of them a lie. I just cannot get over how Casey could just go on and on with detailed information about the non-existant Zenaida, all lies.
Then the police asked Casey about her job at Universal and her friends, and again, just these
detailed stories and they were all lies. Its the most bizarre thing Ive ever heard of.

Like I’ve said, people are no longer content to follow a story, they have to try and insert themselves into a story which is not about them to start with. Everybody wants to be the hero, nobody wants to do the grunt work. The best thing they could do to put Casey behind bars is to FIND CAYLEE.
I am not against protesting, and I understand the frustration people feel. But there’s a way to act and a way not to act. I mean, come on.

#17…Please take a look at the video again…that little boy did not trip and fall and hurt his arm. The car door was shut on his arm by the man who came around from the other side of the car. I am disgusted by the way people act today. Children are being raised to have absolutely no respect for an adult. In my opinion, that is poor parenting. But then again, those same parents don’t have any respect either, so how can we expect them to teach their children anything different.

Holy Cow! Casey Anthony had sex with at least TWO officers from Orlando Police Department.
Boy does this girl get around!
The sexual promiscuity points with police is one
for the head doctors – this is really crazy!
Report from wftv.com:
OFFICERS ALLEGEDLY ADMIT TO SEX WITH CASEY
Casey Anthony is reportedly causing a stir inside the Orlando Police Department. An inside source told Eyewitness News at least two officers have stepped forward claiming to have had sexual relationships with her.
In august, Anthony Rusciano was fired from his position as an Orange County deputy for lying about his relationship with Casey.
A police spokesperson refused to comment on any aspect of the Caylee Anthony case.

“At least don’t come out of their house just to hammer signs at midnight. Maybe the reason is that deep down they are loving it as much as the prostesters are.”
Yes, I agree with the above statement!
I think that Casey and Cindy had a BIG falling out, Anyone who has children know (esp. if livin with parents w/ kids) that the best way to “get even” is to move and take the kids, and not let the Grandparents see them! I think Casey did that, then realized that she couldnt go and do and leave Caylee with Cindy she had to watch her. To call her mom (cindy) and her to watch Caylee would mean she gave in to their spat and wasnt going to do that!
I belive that Casey killed Caylee, on accident with chloroform! Since she and Cindy werent spatting at the time she didnt have to worry about producing Caylee to visit. She told her friends whatever she could tell them…
I also think that Casey told Cindy after her first release from jail the truth!
Cindy has changed her whole opinion on the whole thing! Changing her stories b/c she doesnt want to lose Casey too!
Moms like Cindy are the reason for ppl like Casey
“being a friend, instead of a parent”

Protesters aka Lynchmobs. That’s what I am reminded of everytime I see them. Then we have blogs up the ying-yang filled with people who all of a sudden have formed a clique of sorts. If you’re not one of the “regulars” you’re a troll or some other insulting name. Yes, they’re kind of like Sherlock Holmes vs Dick Tracy but almost comical at times. No one has any compassion for others anymore do they? This is not a defense of the Anthony’s but a lot of families have skeletons and ghosts just itching to break loose. People, stop and ask yourself if this was happening to you and it was your daughter and grandchild would you want protesters at all hours outside of your home and media always breathing down your neck? No, I didn’t think so. Instead of throwing stones you righteous, better than thou bunch of hypocrites, you need to count your blessings that you are NOT in the Anthony’s shoes. Think about it. Think about it long and hard. But there for the grace of God go I. This family needs prayers NOT protests!

I am glad to know DCF is investigating these people — notice the younger child is half dressed and out in the middle of the night and in the earlier part of the video is heard crying in the background. Then when the older child is writhing in pain this compassionate woman first attempts to lift him by his arm then drops him back on the pavement still writhing in pain silently screaming as you can tell from the fact that his screams eescape to audible when the man lifts him into the vehicle and yells “MOVE!” who is he yelling at? The younger woman? the younger child? the injured boy?
Why on earth aren’t these people charged with anything? They started the yelling — CHARGE them with disturbing the peace!! LE needs to protect the rights of ALL citizens not whomever they deem worthy! Clear the dang street and send them home! They will continue to protest as long as they are allowed to stomp all over the rights of the people in that community to live in peace…. isn’t there some kind of CONSTITUTIONAL right being violated here?
Protestors –> You want to protest? Start looking up laws related to childrens rights and protection… VOTE, wrote to your legislators and tell them to vote for developing organization and programs to support childrens needs. Caylee’s not the only one who needs a voice! Or are you so intellectually challenged you cannot figure out how to do anything but blast profane language in a residential neighborhood — how frightened must other children in that neighborhood be? Bringing CHILDREN to a hostile situation like this is comparable to failure to protect them from witnessing domestic violence! AND lastly are YOU so narrcisitic that you believe you are making some difference in this?
Being a voice for Caylee?! — Do you truelly think this is what she would want said to the grandparents she loves on her behalf?!

As for Casey having sex with police officers — she is above the age of consent. Her sexual choices are nobody’s business but her own and that of a consenting partner — BTW the police officers in this issue are also adults above the age of consent and equally as responsible for their choices. Their sexual choices are also nobody’s business but theirs and that of a consenting partner… unless the partner is in custody at the time in which case — THEY are ethically responsible for maintaining the professional boundary. Hey if there is judgement to be passed let’s make sure it is evenly distributed!

Protesting in front of someone’s house is only something I would do to bring attention to a wrong that was being ignored. The police are not in any way ignoring this crime. They are just getting their ducks in a row.
Weeding the yard in the middle of the night? That’s just feeding the frenzy.

FACT –> Casey Anthony has NOT been charged with murder and even when she is she is innocent until PROVEN guilty IN A COURT OF LAW. The burden of that proof lies with the State Prosecutor.
Like it or not the same CONSTITUTIONAL right is afforded to Casey as is afforded to ALL of us! Forfiet that right for her and it will soon be forfeited for ALL.
FACT–> Cindy Anthony was not heard angrily addressing the protestor about comments regarding CASEY — She states don’t call my GRANDDAUGHTER …. and as long as she is not disturbing the peace she has the right to be in her yard any time she chooses … the protesters however travelled there to make trouble. Do you hoenstly believe that POS duo had intended to sit quietly and NOT instigate something? That was premeditated harrassment! What’s next we allow people to “protest” at the homes of people of different religious beliefs? Cindy believes her grandchild is alive … she has the RIGHT to believe anything she wants. PRESUMABLY just as much so as those who believe otherwise! Would it be acceptable now for protestors to show up at the home of the woman whose very compassionate response to her injured son is an angry “c’mere son! get in!” AFTER she has had her say to Cindy of course.
Comment by Deb — September 15, 2008 @ 9:08 pm
Candee and AnniRay06 –> So… let’s see if I have your logic straight? It’s OK to violate the rights of those around you when you are angry at someone exercising their 5th ammendment right against self incrimination or who believes differently than you in a situation.
Lots of people believe differently than you do in this situation … ok to send the protestors?
If the people who are the target of this remain prisoners in their own home — imprisoned with a mob as their jailers — no charges, no trial… just sentenced … then the mob will go away?
Ummm… better resend that memo of mob ettiquette again … the mob stayed when Casey was not there, when the Anthony’s stayed inside… but you believe that if they all just comply with thier sentencing then all would be peaceful again.
How about this? Take the camera’s and news trucks away from the Anthony home and the protestors. Find some other newsworthy events in the area instead of waiting for the 2 minute erruption in a 24 hour day!
You two are quite remarkable people — you would have us set civil rights and societal ethics back at least a few decades. Was that you on the video?
Comment by Deb — September 15, 2008 @ 9:25 pm
“she is innocent until PROVEN guilty IN A COURT OF LAW”
Well, not really. Either she did it or she didn’t. If she did kill Caylee she is guilty at this very moment of that crime. If she didn’t kill her than at this very moment she is innocent. What happens in court in the future is really irrelevant as to her actual guilt or not.
This presumption of innocence is really no more than our legal mission statement. Our goal is to see people as innocent unless we can prove them guilty in a court. A political science professor once taught me that in France people are presumed guilty until proven innocent (I haven’t confirmed this) but it is actually fairly irrelevant as both countries had about the same rate of conviction. This was 1980’s data.
Also, the mission statement is that one is “presumed” innocent in the eyes of the law. Not that one “IS” innocent. Fine details maybe, but what makes one innocent is whether or not someone not committed a crime, not whether a jury has convicted them. Juries get it wrong too, just ask those freed by new DNA technology.
For all that, I still believe in due process and constitutional rights because we all need them. Casey has a right to a fair hearing and bailment and I agree, it is dangerous for all citizens to have even one person have that right taken away from them.

Comment by AnniRay06 — September 15, 2008 @ 9:38 pm
Hey Deb, nobody has ever said that Casey is not entitled to a fair trial before being sentenced and convicted. We don’t know for a fact that she’s guilty, but we do know for a fact that she is lying and obstructing justice. She needs to tell the truth and that is what the protest is about. By the way, the protesters have rights, too. They have the right to be there. The police have been there countless times and no arrests made. Why? Because the protesters are not breaking the law. They are within their rights.
Comment by Candee — September 15, 2008 @ 9:42 pm
ABSOLUTELY WELL SAID KAREN. Thank you for the obviously educated info
I still don’t see that there is enough evidence for me to presume guilt but that is only my opinion. I had in mind those freed by new DNA technology when I wrote the post. It’s not a perfect system — but the alternative of mob rule and vigilante justice scares the hell out of me.
Comment by Deb — September 15, 2008 @ 9:42 pm
I think most of the protesters HAVE been peaceful. There is only an occasional one that out of line. So what? That’s bound to happen. I also liked the woman with the dog and I thought LEE acted like a real jerk to her, jumping up and down on her sign like a 2-year-old throwing a temper tantrum. He couldn’t break it, couldn’t get it in the trash can, and then a bystander gave it back to her intact. What a wuss. I suppose if the sign had said “Casey is innocent” nobody in the Anthony home would have objected to it. This is all getting to them. George is facing assault charges. Cindy has to hire a security guard just to be able to pull weeds in her yard. They have gotten exactly what they deserve.
Comment by Candee — September 15, 2008 @ 9:49 pm
AnniRay your ignorance does anger me
… now do I have the right to send the protestors.
Candee, if they are not disturbing the neighbors, frightening children in the neighborhood and antagonizing hostility and violence — yes they have the right to be there. LE seems a bit weighted to me in this case. Yell in my neighborhood at midnight and the PD is picking up SOMEBODY. How would you feel if you were a neighbor with a small child? Yes this case angers people a child is involved — and now more children. You are obviously angered by Casey’s lying and lack of involvement in finding her daughter … would that anger make you dismiss your concern for your own childs well being and take them out at midnight to yell at someone?
Comment by Deb — September 15, 2008 @ 9:50 pm
Are there protestors @ the jail where Casey is? Are there protestors at the police station?
Comment by Deb — September 15, 2008 @ 9:57 pm
#49: Yes, that is one of the points I was trying to make…how can they say they are “concerned” about a missing child when they obviously are not taking care of their OWN children?
Personally, I think the little boy on the ground wasn’t hurt too badly, I think the drama of the moment and the high tensions and emotions going on helped his arm hurt more (although I have no doubt he did hurt his arm with the car door). He had recovered enough to yell, “I HOPE YOU DIE!” as they were pulling away.
But this is not an isolated incident. Neighbors are complaining about this sort of behavior daily. Look at the photo of the black family I have posted, right at their front door. I don’t give a crap what Cindy and/or Casey did or did not do, that isn’t right.
These sorts of people do not fool me. They claim to be concerned about the missing child, but all they are concerned with is getting their fifteen minutes, all the while deluding themselves into thinking they are “helping”. Whatever. Let LE do their job and stay out of the way.
Better yet, STFU and find Caylee.

I really think a lot of these “protesters” are just morons who want to be on TV. Springer turned them down and now they are looking for their shot. They probobly set the VCR to record the news in hopes they would get on. You know tape over the wedding.
Comment by Rebecca — September 15, 2008 @ 10:32 pm
#48: I do agree that the Anthony family do seem to bring some of this on themselves. Who goes out at midnight to hammer in signs? Why smash someone’s sign in full view of cameras? Is it that hard to get one of the security guys to do it, or hire a company, or rent a portafence?
However…these are not isolated incidents, as I have pointed out before. These sorts of things are happening on a daily basis. People are forgetting that there are other neighbors living in the area who had NOTHING to do with Caylee’s disappearance. So it is okay to disturb their peace, it is okay to frighten their children, all because someone wants to make a point?
They have gotten what they deserve…do huh? So it’s up to John Doe, Average Citizen to determine what sort of “punishment” should be meted out to the Anthony family? And here I was all this time laboring under the impression that we lived in a country that already had law enforcement and a justice system. I have a couple of neighbors myself whom I would like to use this logic on….but oh wait, I see that it is flawed.
No matter what heinous acts they may or may not have done, it is not up to you or me or anyone outside of LE and the justice system to decide if they are getting what they “deserve”.
Comment by k — September 15, 2008 @ 10:35 pm
According to news article I read the little boy has recovered from his arm injury. That had to be an interesting DCF report.
Just about the time I would have said to my husband at midnight — I’m taking the kids over there to give that woman a piece of my mind — his response would be — Uh no honey you’re NOT, because, you dear, you have obviously LOST your mind if you think you’re taking a toddler and young child anywhere at midnight!
My kids are teenagers but at that age the only time they would be out of the house at midnight would be #1 traveling long distance on vacation or #2 The emergency room (only had to do that once when my daughter had a stomach virus at age 9 months). Midnight is 4 hours past bedtime stories!

I think people should leave the grandparents alone. They know. They know what happend. Cindy really started being super angry once the “body farm” evidence came out. I think she knew, but this confirmed it. They propably feel guilty for not taking Caylee when they could. They propably feel guilty for raising such a selfish daughter. And they propably feel guilty for not being there for those couple days, or not making sure she was with her mom. And truthfully if you felt this way and you suspected your granddaughter was already dead, wouldn’t you protect your daughter? Who you raised and loved, and cared for. Your baby girl. What would you do?

You can read the frustration boiling over just on this one website – actually many websites. The protestors need to go home – they arent serving any purpose except to bring sympathy for the Anthonys
and maybe even Casey. Its no place to bring small children and subject them to foul language and violence and makes you wonder how some of these people are raising their own children. As I stated
before, Cindy Anthony doesnt need to go outside and hammer in no trespassing signs or weed or water or whatever the heck she does out there. She is confronting people purposely and she has her own agenda. All the Anthonys have an agenda that doesnt coincide with Casey being convicted for murder. Make no mistake about that. What the best thing for this case would be is if everyone starts ignoring them.
I think that would send a signal that their stories are not credible and that no one is listening to them.
In any case, the protestors need to stop – its become
a horrible spectacle and it doesnt serve any purpose.
The media doesnt need to send helicopters to follow her home from jail either – that just satisfies Caseys need to keep all eyes focused on her. Its a shame that the Anthony’s posted bond – the fastest
way to crack Casey is to let her just sit in jail,
because when there is something in it for her
(like maybe a plea bargain) then Casey will talk,
otherwise – you are going to continue to get the
wall of silence.

I suppose it’s awful of me to think this, but I’d sort of like to see those protestors in front of Jose Baez’s house at all hours of the night. Anyone have his address?
I mean, so many people are upset because the Anthony’s are protecting Casey from the consequences of her actions (and I agree they are) but somehow we’ve ended up with a legal system where it’s actually expected that her lawyer will do the same if he’s doing his job correctly.
Jose has said far worse things than Cindy ever has but I bet his neighborhood is quiet.
I guess that is just how the system works.

A judge today has denied the Homeowners Association on Cindy and George Anthony’s block the right to order
the protestors to stay down the street and gather in
a vacant lot. This is truly unfortunate. The police
have been called to the Anthony’s house 42 times
in I dont know how many days and it seems to me that the judge could have taken this small step to grant
the other home owners the right to a little peace and quiet and also to let the police go about more serious business for the city. What in the heck
is going on with the legal authorities in this city?
Also a judge denied a woman whose granddaughter became emotionally distressed after becoming involved with the Anthony’s a restraining order against them.
The little girl who is 13 became very close to the Anthonys and helped form prayer vigils with them for Caylee – she lives with her grandmother who appears to be her sole caregiver. Apparently the grandmother no longer believes Caylee is alive and wants Cindy and Casey to stop communicating with her granddaughter. However a judge didnt agree and refused to issue a restraining order. I just dont believe that if this case were in a larger city, say Los Angeles that the police would have handled this whole case in the manner that they have done so far. They seem out of their league.

Casey Anthony, her parents and Lee Anthony should be sued in civil court for all the damage they have caused, including to the little boy who’s arm got hurt. That was clearly Cindy Anthony’s fault for provoking and alarming those people in the van.

Lee Anthony, in particular, has destroyed property and should be sued for damages. He has destroyed numerous signs and other property. He abused an animal, a dog that belonged to a person outside his home, by depriving it of water. Lee Anthony also almost ran a child over with his vehicle and probably psychologically traumatized that child. The Anthonys collectively should be sued for at least several thousand dollars in medical bills as well as property and other damages.

Today I had read that two detectives were going out of state to interview a witness. I thought perhaps they were following an out of state trail that could lead to Caylee. However, tonight on Nancy Grace,
it turns out that the detectives have come to California to talk to Leonard Padilla! Apparently
he is going to be interviewed regarding the story that Casey told him and his associate (his last name
is Dick), about how Caylee was actually kidnapped from
the park – by Zenaida Gonzalez and Zenaida’s sister
Samantha. Apparently they grabbed Caylee and threw
a written “script” to Casey for her to follow for 30 days and then sped away in a silver colored car.
Wow, what a story – this is one for the books. I know the police have to build a case, but even though Casey’s current charges could bring her 67 years in jail, the consensus of opinion is she would serve
less than 2 years for these minor white color charges.
Therefore, the police do have time to put together a case, however, it seems to me to be taking a very long time to charge her and I wonder what else they are lacking as far as evidence. Apparently it doesnt seem they have enough. One thing we know, Casey isnt going to ever talk, unless its in her interest to speak and I dont see what that could be unless it was a plea bargain to a lessor charge. Padilla also said
that there are no tips coming in to Cindy – that there are not tips at all now. Also if you noticed
the weather is much better but no sign of Tim Miller
or his group and there have been no more calls for
searchers of even a dead body. I dont believe Tim
Miller and Texas Equusearch will come back to look for Caylee – Tim Miller was obviously terribly distressed by the Anthony’s attitudes and I dont think he will come back. Even Cindy is no longer
out there asking people to look for her granddaughter.
I pray the police can find enough to make a solid case and charge her soon.

I do think there is something fishy about the family that I cannot put my finger on, however, I cant stress enough how bad I feel for them for such bad harrassment- I would say most of all, Cindy. I just read tonight that someone was picking a fight with her in front of her home, if you can’t feel safe at home, what do you do?? Literally, a young man was holding the protestor back, even the protesters child was throwing things at Cindy while she hammered “No Trespassing Signs in their yard” Untill this pans out, they probably just want to hide away from everything. Their new found Criminal profiler lawyer Im sure has told them all to keep their lips tightly shut.
As for the gas cans, I almost wonder if they had found any proof of drug use other than Marijuana with Casey Anthony. As evidence of the chloriform surfaced, I couldn’t help but think of the chemicals in gasoline and the severity of the effects when used with chloriform. Another point that has crossed my mind is.. She stole all this money from her friends, from her parents (documentation shows max use of all the parents credit lines on all cards) and all that police could show for it was some shopping at target, Winn Dixie for some groceries ( that she obviously used to make dinner for her boyfriend and his roomate), and some nights out on the town??? Where did the rest of her money go?? And she runs out of gas??? I almost wonder if this whole thing is the result of a terrible drug deal gone bad. I know it may sound rediculous, however, Drug users show signs for being drifters, not staying the same place for a long period of time… Casey and Caylee were gone for at least a month before the family knew something was wrong. I feel that if this the case… Cindy Anthony had known for quite some time that Casey had this problem… the sound of Cindy’s voice in that 911 call when she says “Theres something wrong” It sounds, and no one can argue… that she in fact, at that point knew what happened to her granddaughter. When those tapes were released, I believe the public heard her gut feeling speak as well. Why would she wash the pants???
So they stunk.. lets face it this woman was in panic mode, her daughter was already in jail, and she could feel that a storm was brewing. Casey Anthony was on drugs when she was at the clubs, and I believe she may have done a huge amount of drugs she was intended to sell. In return, was being threatened by the people who wanted their money back, and she didnt have any of it. To pay them back or a threat followed through- It would make sense “That a body was planted”. Not to mention, Casey and the family’s lying- persistance that the little girl is alive ( which we all know the sad truth)- It all makes sense, however there are other possibilities the whole murder was premeditated, and this was a child that Casey never wanted.
Unfortunately, I am not sure if her selfishness will catch up with her. Do I think that karma will come back to her?? Absolutely.
I read earlier a question about what ever happened to Gail St John. I am an avid reader of her site or, (was) until she travelled to Florida to perform “Searching”. The site was also accompanied by audio tapes of them on their journeys which I fealt extremely intriging. After hours and hours of document studying, tip researching, and maps, I then started googling her and found that she had been in the middle of an ugly battle with a team member from the search over donated money credit card fraud. I was freaked out, but the tips that others were writing into them were genious, so I kept going to the site, and sure enough, within 2 days, they had closed the Caylee Anthony Case. Since then I have seen them on the news and everything being busted red handed before their trip back north after running out of funds.
I am waiting for the truth to come out in this case. Many of you have excellent questions and points. Above someone mentioned that the garbage searchers were to be smiled upon because of their evidence help, I agree with the next person who says that is is just slowing down the criminal investigation the the cops are working on before they come out and publicize this matter from court.
Some of you say that it is wrong that Cindy, George and Lee are playing “The Victims” here with the media. I believe this family never sought out fame or fortune. In reading the 400+ pages of documents releases you actually read how Casey had hurt them time and time again. This family may be lying and destroying cameras, umbrella’s ect. However, Imagine their pain behind those doors of that home. How could you eat? How could you sleep?? Lights on their house constantly. A webcam to refresh every 5 minutes directly on their home 24 hours a day. Neighbors probably blowing up their phones trying to ask them to “Make the protestors stop”. Which as we have all obviously seen they cannot do without the law, walking past that childs bedroom day in and day out.
Say Leornard Padilla is half as human as he appears to be, and that what he said about Lee telling the family what “really” happened. Imagine how devastated that family was about their loss. Thinking about all this time they had banded together to find out they were wrong. Also, from what NG suggests, when Casey is at home no one speaks a word to her, which is also why, now, I believe she is at her lawyers house all the time. I wont deny the family has lied and lied and lied. Overdramatized, I can see at times. However, given the circumstances, the money spent, the HORRIBLE things on the front page of EVERY national newspaper, I really dont know any other way, other that fessing the truth and turning in their daughter that they would handle themselves. Now that they have Mr. Nejame to take care of their “personal affairs” I agree with some statements from above suggesting that all of their so called “Denial” may very well be, the story their sticking to. When in “moments of panic” in the beginning of this case alot of things were said that were highly detramental on the familys behalf. They hired this lawyer to clean up the mess everyone has made. I agree with another person from above that says that their lawyers have a hell of a job putting these cases together.
If I have to see big, bug- eyed sunglass wearin Casey Anthony showin off or high- fiving again, I may wash my hands of this whole case all together. Its heartwrenching to me to think that someone out there could be sooo evil, and lets face it, someone out there was!!
Those protesters… They Need to go out and look for this little girl, spend the time and energy on something worth putting this discrase to society behind bars, or go home!!!The family isn’t budgin people!!!!

TO # 73- First of all DEB- The CORRECT spelling is intelligent! Second of all I did NOT come to this blog to be insulted! You KNOW nothing about me or my family so your just making yourself look like your the one who lacks intelligence and class by knocking other’s down! Your as bad as Cindy Anthony just looking for a fight !Frankly , I should not have responded because your comment wasn’t worth one!

Hey K- since this is your site , I’m addressing this to you . We are all here to be able to express our thoughts and feelings on this case. It’s obviouse it’s an emotional one for many of us. It is NOT right for people (like Deb) to just throw around insults because they don’t like or agree with what one is saying !We each have the right to our own opinion and frankly she is out of line by insulting others. Don’t know what you can do, but I just had to vent about it!

I have tried several times to let go of the hold this case has on me and try as I will I just can’t. It’s grabbed my heart and I can’t let go until Caylee is found!
If you remove ALL the crap Casey told police and just concentrate on her actions after she admits Caylee went missing, it paints a bad picture of her; even with all the lies removed:
She goes night clubbing, spends time at her boyfriends house cooking and cleaning for him, borrows her friends car, takes her checkbook and goes shopping for groceries and whatever else she spent almost $700 on, she’s online and on the phone texting and sending emails to her Mom and her friends, and the list goes on and on and on… what Mother in her right mind could do ANYTHING while their child was missing???? And why, if she obviously had access to someone’s money, why didn’t she put gas in her car and drive it around???
Another point that keeps screaming at me; when police proved she didn’t work at Universal, for the last 2 years, why wasn’t the first question they asked her “Why did you drop Caylee off with a Nanny if you’re not employed”??? Also, Nanny’s or babysitters are not cheap. When my daughter, as a single Mom was working a big chunk of her paycheck went to paying for Child Care! If they really wanted to squeeze her on the issue of a “Nanny” why didn’t they ask her for financial records? If Zanny the Nanny had been caring for Caylee for at least 2 years, there would have to have been financial records, somewhere?
When the police were asking her about email addresses and phone numbers for Zanny the Nanny, she replies to one question that she tried “that day” to email Zanny 2 times, but the email “bounced back”. Why did she wait until THAT DAY to email her????
The most disappointing part of the audio tapes, IMO is that the police allowed their frustration of her lies affect them… they lost the battle and didn’t prepare more open ended questions that would have pressed her further into a corner… unfortunately it’s too late now for them to ask about financail records, email communication etc.

#81 I agree with you – the police,when interrogating
Casey at Universal were really very amateurish, I felt. They talked way too much and injected too much into the conversation and Casey just sat there and said “uh huh” – very enlighening…on what the police were thinking! But not much on what was in Caseys mind. Its too late now in any case. I still believe we will see a serious charge brought against
Casey, most likely be involuntary manslaughter. Here is the definition:
Involuntary manslaughter usually refers to an unintentional killing that results from recklessness or criminal negligence, or from an unlawful act that is a misdemeanor or low-level felony (such as DUI). The usual distinction from voluntary manslaughter is that involuntary manslaughter (sometimes called “criminally negligent homicide”) is a crime in which the victim’s death is unintended. End of description
I dont think they can prove murder – they dont have enough evidence without a body – also at this point
even if they were to find Caylee there is no way with what is left of her body that they can probably find cause of death. So after I looked up specific other things they could charge Casey with, it seems to me
that involuntary manslaughter would be the easiest
to prove by circumstantial evidence. If they can prove that the decomposing body forensically was
Caylee – then they could probably get a conviction.
That is going to be the key though, and they are going to need very strong forensics to back up their case as they probably will never have the body or cause of death. I think they need to prove
that Caylee was in her care, and that the forensic
evidence in the trunk was Caylees and that it showed that it was from a dead body – add in all her lies,
her photographs at clubs after Caylee went missing,
the search for chloroform on her computer, the evidence of chloroform in her trunk, plus her other
criminal activities, and I think you could get a jury to convict her of involuntary manslaughter. Penalies
for involuntary manslaughter can be severe – from 15 years to life is my understanding.

I have watched this story from the very beginning, and have felt due to the fact that cadaver dogs hit on the scent of death, twice, that Caylee had passed.
I, like a lot of people, am so obsessed with this, and I think it is because, we don’t trust our govenment to do the right thing. We want justice, but justice is rarely if ever seen in this country. We are so busy and so consumed with prisoners rights that we do not even care about those who do the right thing.
For example, the people that come by there and rant and rave and look like morons. They have their right to assemble, but what about the people who live in the neighborhood? What about their rights? Don’t they have a right to live in peace? Etc…
Cindy should stay in the back yard, maybe the back yard bothers her? But that is where she should stay, this is “not” her fault, but for the sake of this country and her very own community she should keep herself above reproach.
She can’t be above reproach now, because she is defending something so offesive, to those around her, that it would be in good taste, just to step back, calm things down, but based on her past and current behavior, I don’t believe that is going to happen.
Comment by Colleen — September 17, 2008 @ 3:28 pm
I definitely agree with you about the protesters but I have to say, what did Cindy expect? If you watch the bond hearing – she begs the court to let Casey be released into her custody – in her house. She knew this would anger her neighbors and the public. She has had Casey released into her custody THREE times now.
The Anthony’s brought a lot of this on themselves and they have burdened their neighborhood. It was extremely selfish but hey! So are the Anthony’s.
We have the freedom to protest, to gather and assemble and freedom of speech, but the children need to be left out of it. Leave them at home. That child was HURT and NOBODY cared when he was crying and rolling around on the cement. It was awful to watch.
I don’t think the protests are accomplishing anything. yes, we have the right to protest but does it accomplish anything constructive? Maybe the first night or two, but not anymore.. like I said, it’s a burden that’s unfair to the neighbors.
Comment by Lanie — September 17, 2008 @ 10:45 pm
I’ve just watched some of those protest films. Hum…….who actually paid for Casey’s bail? I sure hope it wasn’t the media so they could continue to get gawkers (like me?)
I see George saying that protestors are being paid by the media. Who knows? But her bail? Somehow I suspect that it wasn’t paid by someone altruistic. I don’t see that Casey’s constitutional rights had been violated in anyway. She just didn’t have rich relatives to come up with the cash and security.
Lots of people are making money off this case including this blog which has had increased hits and therefore advertisers. But, is stimulating a bad econcomy a bad thing? Most of us have rent or a mortgage to pay.
Tough love – It means not giving sanctuary to a daughter who lies about exactly what happened to Casey. Telling a daughter or a sister that they are not welcome in your home until they tell the truth is a loving act. Caylee deserves this. Love is more important than legal advise.

#85- That all could not have been better put!!I just think that although “gawking” is what I do with this case as well… reading and seeing the info on tv is not helping this child be located. The drama takes so much energy that could be diffused into finding this little girl, if thats even a possibility 3 months after her disappearance.

To respond — I have a life and you know nothing about me other than I disagree with your vigilante justice belief system. If this case goes to trial it will be vigilante’s such as yourself and the NON Peaceful protestors who will interfere with the process of a fair trial.

Hey Deb- Looks like we are on opposite schedules . Let me CORRECT you once again take a look at your comments in # 43 first and last paragraph’s.Looks like you threw the first punch !Implying we are not logical people as well as in your last paragraph implying it was one of us on that “video”. So that’s what prompted my responce #45 back to you. Back to your # 43 comment it really was NOT necessary to address any names ! That’s where it began !And last of all to your last comment #88 “you know nothing about me” Isn’t that what I said to you?? Be original now! No your right I know nothing nor do I want to know a thing about you. By the way once again your saying something about me and you don’t even KNOW me. Just because I believe that the protestors have the rights (as we all do) to freedom of speech and to be at the Anthony’s protesting (in a decent way without involving their kids)and that in THIS particular case of Casey Anthony YES I do as well as thousands of others feel she IS guilty ! Like one of the comments above setting aside ALL of the evidence and with JUST the fact that she has liedabout EVERYTHING that comes out of her mouth . If she’s innocent what reason would she have NOT to tell the truth?? So I have to agree with the first sentence of comment # 34! But once again you Don’t know me to call me a Vigilante, because I’m NOT!

The paying of the large bond is still a mystery. Even though the Anthonys have put up their house as collaterol for the 90 percent of the bond it still is a mystery as to who put up the 10 percent which amounts to about $50,000.00 – unless the Anthonys did receive a chunk of money for selling videos and photographs to 20/20 to be shown on their TV show which aired several weeks ago. These shows dont technically pay for interviews but they do pay for videos and pictures. I frankly believe the Anthony’s
did pay for Casey to get out on the large bond.
The smaller amounts for the white collar crimes amounted to less than $500.00 so Im sure they have paid for everything. They want her out of jail and even though I feel she is absolutely guilty and will be convicted, I hate to see these protests which are not doing anyone any good. Its ironic how George Anthony is outraged by protestors and wants them
punished to the full extend of the law isnt it?
I guess he fails to see the irony in that the protestors are out there because they want to see
Casey prosecuted to the full extent of the law as well. However, that doesnt mean that the protestors
should be allowed to come to the Anthonys house in the middle of the night and throw things at the house
and cause such a disturbance. This has really got to end. I dont understand the police – they didnt cite
any of the protestors – are they punishing the Anthonys?
Comment by Elaine 16 — September 18, 2008 @ 1:15 pm
I agree that the Protestors have gone way too far… the 911 call made by Casey is a bit of a crock and Jse Baez sent investigators out to find the protestors, maybe he should send them out to find Caylee…
The thing that gets me the most is the LIES! She’s gotten away with lying so much it’s become acceptable behavior to her family, but in the real world, people don’t coddle to her and accept her lies… IMO she isn’t even good at it… pardon my french, but shit, she had 31 days to come up with a believeable story and Zanny the Nanny is the best she could do??? Just goes to her beleif that anything she says and does is accepted, by her family!
Comment by Linda — September 18, 2008 @ 10:49 pm
For those who think that Casey can get away with murder I present a story today out of Florida
in Volusia County where a woman was sentenced to life in prison without possiblity of parole for having
sex with a 5 year old. Her husband was a pornographer
(who has since died) and she used as a defense that she was forced to do these acts on this child so her husband could video tape it and sell the tapes. The jury didnt buy it. If they can sentence (and rightly so) a woman to life in prison without possibility of parole for that then Casey Anthony when charged with some form of murder or manslaughter will certainly face at least as stiff a sentence. The protestors should understand this and stay home. They are building a very strong case from everything that I have read and the law and justice will take care of her. Mr Baez her attorney made several major errors when making his motion on changing who evaluates the forensic evidence and the motion is sitting on a clerk’s desk. He also was critized in a completely different case (he defended a child abuser and lost the case) in that he was very late to the sentencing and did not apologise to court, the judge or the victims. His excuse? He was late because he was dodging the media who he thought was going to follow him. None did.
Mr. Baez doesnt seem to be on the ball lately. This case is taking a toll on him as well it seems. Its probably because he has to sit and listen to Casey for six hours a day while she cools her heels in his office. I dont really believe that – and I dont think she is there because her house is bugged – though it might be – I think that the tension is too much in that house and Baez is babysitting her. Lets hope he doesnt lose her. Im sure she is sitting in an empty conference room with a laptop or watching soaps on TV.
There is news also that her brother Lee may be more involved in this than originally thought. Cindy and George were willing to take a lie detector test, but Lee nixed the idea – because he didnt want to take it.
Apparently he told the police he had not talked to Casey in one month prior to Cindy calling the police
but phone records obtained by Padilla prove that Lee
did talk to Casey. However, the odd thing is that Lee himself provided Padilla with the phone records.
Every day we get just a little bit more of the puzzle.
Soon the police will have the puzzle complete and she will be arrested.

Gosh, so much to comment on here lately.
#39 (Deb), I don’t think it was a “crime” per se’ for Casey to have sex with a police officer or two…..but it was a crime for the police officer who was on the police force at the time of this investigation to not have revealed his relationship with Casey….THAT is what everyone finds interesting about the “police officer/sheriff” involvement…not that Casey was able to have sex with someone with a badge.
#40 (Rebecca)….CUTE…I LOVED IT!
#42 (Deb)…people protetest all the time…it’s nothing new to society. I do think they need to leave their children at home (hopefully they won’t stick them in the trunk like Casey did!). Some of these people are out for the media attention and others simply are protesting for something they believe in….whether we agree or not. I believe the protests have been more positive than negative, but the media will focus on the negative because that is what the media does and gets paid well for it. Who wants to see a “peaceful” protest?…..BORING. People for years have been protesting Abortion (killing of an unborn child), it’s no different for some of these “true” protestors to be protesting Casey Anthony’s “home” when they feel she has killed her “born” child. Whether she has or hasn’t, has yet to be determined in a court of law……BUT all of the Anthony’s continue to ‘BRING IT ON THEMSELVES’ by their actions and their mouths. I don’t feel sorry for them when they are out the hammering away at midnight!!!!!! Protestors….if your listening (or reading I should say…)……leave the kids at home with a sitter……(just don’t use Zenaida)…just kidding!!!!
#47 (Deb) The same DNA technology being used today to free innocent victims (When DNA wasn’t available)….will be the same DNA technology that will convict Casey Anthony. GO FBI CRIME LAB!!!!!!!!
#48 (Candee)…..well said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#59 (anniray06)….I AGREE WITH YOU 100%!
And last but not least……my own comment………it amazes me, how Casey Anthony will call 911 to insist…. “get someone out here immediately” to protect her own (adult) parents who “chose” to go outside to confront protestors…..but yet she couldn’t call 911 to get help to protect her OWN CHILD who was ALLEGEDLY kidnapped! What’s up with that?????? She actually had a little “excitement” in her usual “monotone” voice when she called 911 that night when the protestors were “bothering” her parents. I’m surprised someone didn’t hand her a “script” to read to the 911 operators, should they start “asking” questions???????

The grandmother, Cindy, seems to thrive on the heated exchanges with the protesters.
The behavior of the entire family is not what you would expect under these circumstances. I’ve been a total wreck over the lose of pets! I can’t begin to imagine how devestated I would be if one of my grandchildren was missing.
The one things that most makes me shake my head in disbeliet is that a child was missing and the car had a offensive odor and no one insisted on looking inside the trunk? Uh…these people are idiots.

I can’t believe some of you people. For God’s sake, the neighbors are afraid to let their kids out and can’t get a good night’s sleep because of all of this “concern” over Caylee. All of you people who think it’s just dandy that the protesters are there, and that golly, they just can’t help themselves by trespassing and banging on the garage door of the Anthony’s home and assaulting people and making all kinds of noise until the wee hours of the morning–I rather doubt you’d be okay with it if it was happening on your street. I don’t think you’d be so excited if YOUR kids couldn’t go outside to play because a bunch of crazy people itching for a fight and screaming obscenities were hanging out on the street. That’s not protesting, that’s harassment.
Then again, maybe you don’t really care about Caylee and are just feeling bloodthirsty. Certainly, you don’t care about the other families in the neighborhood. Maybe some of these jackass “protesters” should get a taste of their own medicine. Have some folks “protest” on their street every day at all hours of the day and night–see how they like it. They might not mind, though, since apparently they don’t think their own kids should do things like say, sleep (midnight and they’re bringing their kids with them). They feel fine about letting their own kids watch their criminal and thuggish behavior. Goody for them and for you pro-thug folks. Decent people would rather not have their kids and their families subjected to that crap, and would much rather let the cops do their job SO THAT THEY CAN BUILD AN AIRTIGHT PROSECUTION. Something THEY CANNOT DO WHEN THESE INBRED MORONS DISTRACT THEM FROM THE JOB BY CAUSING MORE PROBLEMS.
Oh, yeah, but you care about Caylee so MUCH. Please.
