Guess Who?

Who has some serious wrinkly knee action going?  Hint:  She looks like she’s going to an ‘ell of a good party.

It’s 44-year-old supermodel Elle Macpherson, proving once again that time and age and gravity happen to us all.

Okay, before I get skewered in the comments, let me just say that I think she looks FABULOUS.  Dead sexy.  I wish I looked that good now and I’m only five years younger than she is.  Yeah, she’s got a bit of flabby skin there above her knee.  I just point it out to show people that yes, models are REAL PEOPLE, and the glossy photographs in the magazines are Photoshopped beyond belief.  If you’re trying to look like the doctored photos you’ll get epic fail every time, because REAL women have stuff like this.  And this sort of thing doesn’t matter because she’s still a beautiful woman.

NOW I will be snarky.  What really bothers me is her makeup application…her face and neck do not match her decolletage, they are much lighter.  With all her money and the resources available to her, she can’t find a foundation that matches her skin color?  I hate to see people with lighter faces than the rest of them.  Victoria Beckham is a serial offender in this area.  And I think Elle has on way too much eyeliner…it adds years and makes her look too much like an aging goth.  Plus she needs some lipstick that isn’t nude color to keep her lips from disappearing into her face.  It looks like she decided to quit before she got all her makeup on.  I would have not had the eyeliner meet at the inner corners of her eyes, they look too small.  I’m not sold on the bangles but I’m loving the dark nail polish on the short nails.  I have on dark polish right now (on short nails, otherwise I can’t type) so maybe I’m biased.  And that dress screams for deep red lipstick!

My opinions only.  She still looks great.
