Has anyone out there thought about the chance of Casey Anthony telling her parents the truth if they had been telling the media that they know she is a pathological liar and deep in their hearts they think their precious grandchild is dead? They couldn’t do that. They had to hold out hope that child was alive. They had to hope that there was a shred of truth in what their daughter had told them. Maybe she had given the child away or sold her to a real “Zanny”. Turning on Casey would never produce the truth. I watched Cindy’s face in those jail house tapes. She was listening intently and watching her daughter’s face for any clue. None of you really know what you would do in the same situation. I know we think we do. But when the child that you have loved and raised gets involved in unspeakable acts you do the best you can to deal with the crime and it’s victims. It is natural for a parent to also try to save or protect their own child. It is a very difficult place to be and unless you have been there you should not judge. Cindy and George are most likly beating themselves up emotionally more than any of us could. They are wondering where they went wrong, regretting letting Casey leave their home with that Caylee, and asking themselves if this is their fault? They are in so much pain. No matter what kind of parents these people were they love their children and they loved that dear little girl and they are suffering unimaginably right now. Please don’t be one of those who make it worse for them.

I agree, watching these no-lives people constantly, pointlessly protesting at the Anthony’s house makes me angry at these idiots, it accomplishes “Nothing!” It’s just a way just as you said to get their 15 minutes in something that has nothing to do with their lives (if having one). Just a way for them to release their anger, and have nothing better to do than throw rocks and bang on garage doors

I wonder why in the world the Anthony’s don’t fire that so called lawyer of Casey’s, HE is the only reason Casey isn’t talking…HE want’ all the publicity he can get, and he is getting high profile attention…I say he is just out there for the publicity…I hope the Floridians in his neck of the woods put HIM in his place…he seems like a jerk in the worse way…

I, too, am a grandmother of a beautiful granddaughter who will be 3 in November. Her mother is a single mother and a few years older than Casey. They lived with me and I, like Cindy, was the real mother. My daughter didn’t want my granddaughter and relied upon me to take care of her while she went out and partied (but she had a job). I gladly did because you can’t make people be good parents. I became very close to my granddaughter as Cindy. This year my daughter has really grown up and took on her responsbility as a really good mother. She has moved about 100 miles away to become manager of her own store, bought a brand new car and her own home. She has my granddaughter and loves her dearly. If I hadn’t stepped in and helped, my daughter may not be the loving mother she is today. Knowing this was the best for my daughter and granddaughter, I had to let them go. I’m like a divorced parent, I get her every other week-end. lol My heart goes out to Cindy, but if she knows anything, she needs to talk. Caylee’s little body needs to be put to rest even though it means Casey will go to prison or worse. So, you see, this case has really hit home. I can’t quit thinking about the whole mess. Caylee is in a much better home with our loving God. CAYLEE, YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN!

The latest–that Madame Cindy Anthony has accused Jesse Grund (one of Casey’s countless parade of bed partners with questionable taste) of putting Caylee’s corpse in Casey’s car in order to frame her–is just one more act in the Theater of the Anthony Absurd. Does this mean that Cindy is finally admitting the Caylee is dead? Hasn’t she been unwaveringly adamant in her insistence that Caylee is alive and that Equusearch concentrate on finding a “living little girl”?

More proof of the family’s commitment to throwing shite in all directions and hoping some of it sticks, no matter who it hurts as long as it points away from their psychopathic, murderess daughter.

And people wonder why most folks are spitting angry.

I appreciate this blog its actually one of the few that I belong to that is not all full of hate. I can also see that you are trying hard to stay objective which is hard to do because all us mothers, fathers, and grandparents can certainly relate to how we would feel if it was our child that was missing.
