And I would like to add, I said people picture a white child when they adopt… I thought I typed “white people”, so if that sounded like some sort of Nazi speak, no, just a typo. Black people = black babies, Asian people = Asian babies, White people = white babies, etc. Not everyone’s way of thinking, but I would imagine this is probably the norm.

Wonder who she will add next? She has to complete the series she started after all, until she finds something else to collect.

Yes, absolutely. I have also said that one should not have more pets than one can reasonably take care of. It isn’t fair to the pets to have a bunch of them and their quality of life be decreased. I have two cats because that is all I can properly take care of…more would not be fair to the animals.

I firmly believe the same goes for children. To paraphrase an old Bill Cosby line, the reason why I have two children is that I do not want three. I can reasonably take care of two. More would be cruel. I couldn’t do it.

Some people can handle three, or four, or five, or more…but you can see the fruits of a good and disciplined parent who spends time with their children and who has them for the RIGHT reasons. I just do not believe that Angelina and Brad are doing it for the right reasons. But I digress.

Second, I’m sorry, but I have dealt up close and personal with people like Angelina and Brad, and from what I’ve been able to discern they probably have issues within themselves that they are attempting to band-aid over with the adoption of children. If you notice, there’s a big high when somebody adopts a child…but when that high wears off, it’s time to adopt another. I’m sure they have philanthropic tendencies and they do good things with their money, but bad people can do good things.

And I’m not against adoption, even foreign adoption. I’m not against helping other countries that desperately need it. But Angelina doesn’t seem to want to help people in America, only other countries. The adoption process in other countries isn’t like it is here, nor are the adoptive parents in some third world country likely to be able to sue for the kid back. Harsh, perhaps, but true. She can do as she likes in other countries, things which perhaps she wouldn’t be able to get by with here. And did Brad give any money to the people affected by the Midwestern floods? After all, he’s from Missouri. Or was he too busy over in Nice or wherever they were at?

They don’t even spend time with their kids…one or the other is always gone filming or doing appearances or whatever. Their stance is good but their follow-through sucks. And I agree…kids do grow up, much like puppies get bigger. These kids are going to be handfuls when they get bigger. I can’t wait for them to get to be teens and freak out every time mom or dad wants to uproot them and jet off somewhere else.

So sorry if you don’t like my opinions. You’re free to voice yours as I am free to voice mine. Maybe you should stick to Scientology articles, then, because I don’t write those.

Silly analogy, but seriously, these kids are going to be a pain once they get to be teenagers, unless Angelina and Brad are giving the kids proper boundaries and, at some point, take time off to devote more time to their children. I’m also expecting a divorce (oops, I mean, a break-up) to roll around once Angelina loses her good looks and/or Brad starts shooting blanks.

I think the reason Angelina first chose to adopt overseas is because an orphaned child in Cambodia is not as well off as an orphaned child in Idaho. Whether she chooses an American kid or an African kid, I don’t think that makes much of a difference, especially since I think more people who adopt would prefer a child of their own ethnicity… not to say people are racist, because that’s not really what it’s about, but I think unconciously they picture a white child.
