Caylee Anthony: Casey Anthony To Be Arraigned Today

There’s been a ton of news in the case of missing little girl Caylee Anthony.

After her indictment and news that she is due back in court on November 5 on those bad check charges,  probably the biggest news to come out so far is that there’s been a possible trial date set for her mother Casey, who has been accused of her murder:

Eyewitness News was the first to find out a trial date has been set in the case against Casey. She’ll be tried for first-degree murder on February 9 and the case is going to be expensive, especially if it’s moved out of town.

She is expected to enter a “Not Guilty” plea at her arraignment on Tuesday:

Casey Anthony is not required to be in court Tuesday for her arraignment. She is accused of killing her daughter Caylee who was reported missing in July.

Eyewitness News first reported that Casey Anthony entered a written not guilty plea on October 17, which means she does not have to be in court Tuesday when a judge is expected to officially accept her plea.

Tests done on Casey’s car have come back with evidence of both decomposition and chloroform:

Scientists who conducted forensic tests in the Casey Anthony investigation concluded that human decomposition and evidence of chloroform were present in the trunk of Casey’s car, according to the report released Friday.

The report details findings from FBI tests on items found inside Casey’s car, including DNA results on hair samples and forensic testing of debris and clothing [...].

Among the results is confirmation that a hair sample found in the vehicle “exhibits characteristics of apparent decomposition.” The report also says that specific hair is “microscopically similar” to hair investigators took from Caylee’s hairbrush.

“The hair found in the trunk establishes that Caylee’s dead and that her dead body was in the trunk of the car. Even if they don’t find the body, it’s enough evidence, scientific evidence, to establish that she’s dead,” said Dr. Michael Baden, nationally-renowned forensic pathologist.

DNA testing done on that piece of hair and compared with a sample provided by Casey confirmed that neither Casey nor Caylee can be “excluded as the source of the hair,” because the “mtDNA sequences … are the same.”

Tests also confirmed “residues of chloroform” within a spare tire cover found inside the trunk of Casey’s car. “Residues consistent with chloroform” were also found within the left and right side trunk liner. The report says no other chemicals were detected within those items. Coupled with evidence that someone on Casey’s computer was researching how to make chloroform, it could explain how Caylee was murdered.

“That would indicate that chloroform has to be considered as a cause of the baby’s death,” Dr. Baden said.

Odor tests that were conducted on the carpet inside Casey’s car concluded that 80 percent of the chemicals identified were “consistent with decompositional events.” The results of the FBI’s Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) on the same carpet concluded that “while these are still preliminary results … both odor analysis and LIBS results appear to be quite consistent with a decompositional event having occurred in the trunk of the vehicle.”

The report also clarifies that the tests conducted appear to point to human decomposition and not animal. Meanwhile, a hair fragment the FBI found on the shovel Casey borrowed from her neighbor days after investigators believe Caylee was murdered, but that hair did not match Caylee or Casey.

The report’s final conclusion is that the results of the tests and comparisons indicate “that a portion of the total odor signature identified in the Florida vehicle trunk is consistent with a decompositional event that could be of human origin.”

It seems that somebody was on Casey’s laptop looking up do-it-yourself recipes on how to make your own chloroform:

There was evidence of high levels of chloroform in the trunk of Casey’s car and sheriff’s investigators found that someone on Casey Anthony’s computer was researching not where to buy chloroform, but how to make it yourself, which can be done easily.

Eyewitness News legal analyst Bill Sheaffer says, if you were up to no good, there would be an advantage to making it as opposed to buying it.

When you Google “how do you make chloroform,” more than a million websites are listed with instructions. On the first one, page one had an explicit warning about chloroform’s dangers, calling the chemical extremely dangerous and unpredictable and warning never to allow children to come near chloroform. [...]

Sheaffer said it’s significant because, if Casey made the chloroform as opposed to buying it, she could have been trying to cover her tracks. Buying it would have generated some sort of record.

“This way certainly, she could argue, ‘Alright, I was interested in looking into how to make chloroform, but I never did.’ Or, ‘That’s why you smelled chloroform in the trunk area, because I was experimenting in making it,’” Sheaffer said.

Record or not, the jury would be faced with a compromising question for Casey.

“Why would you need to make chloroform. For what purpose?” Sheaffer questioned.

George and Cindy Anthony, Casey’s parents and the grandparents of little Caylee, continue to insist that the little girl is alive:

George and Cindy Anthony looked tense and tired as they sat on the couch next to “Today” host Meredith Vieira.

Even when Vieira pressed the Anthony’s about their daughter’s role in Caylee’s disappearance, they continued to stand by their daughter.

The Anthonys said they think Caylee is still alive and believe she is going to be found. They said they are not going to give up and they are getting tips and leads every day as to her whereabouts.

The family has now established its own tip line for people to report any information that might lead to Caylee. The number is 1-888-231-5618.

However, the majority of the “tips” received by the tip line have been from psychics.  Expect those details to be released soon.

UPDATE:  Read some of the “info” the so-called “tipsters” have been giving.  Truly amazing stuff.

And in the same interview, George (who had to testify against his daughter to the grand jury) and Cindy deny that they are in denial:

George and Cindy Anthony said on national television that they think their granddaughter, Caylee Marie, is still alive and have not given up hope, despite a first-degree murder indictment against their daughter, Casey.

The couple appeared on the Today Show this morning and were interviewed by Meredith Vieira.

George Anthony refused to answer questions about his subpoena to testify in front of a grand jury last week. “I cannot comment,” he said.

Orange County officials announced last week that they think the child is dead and charged Casey Anthony with first-degree murder, among other charges, following the grand jury indictment. Cindy Anthony called the move another “tactic” to prevent her daughter’s lawyers from viewing their evidence.

The evidence that points to a decomposing body in the back of Casey Anthony’s car and traces of chloroform found in the same place have not been released yet to the public. Cindy Anthony thinks it’s all circumstantial and can be disproved.

When Vieira asked George and Cindy if they are in denial about their granddaughter’s death, they said no.

“My granddaughter is still alive,” George Anthony said. “My granddaughter is still out there and we are going to find her.”

Finally, a couple of the more rowdy protesters at the Anthony home might be charged with battery:

According to the Orlando Sentinel, the suspects, whose names were not released, are accused of attacking George and Cindy Anthony in the middle of the night at their home.

According to the police report, one of the women involved grabbed George’s shirt and a man pushed Cindy, Caylee’s grandmother.

The suspects fled in a blue Jeep, the Anthonys said.

It’s now up to the State Attorney’s Office to decide whether to file formal charges.

Good.  I’m very glad to see some of these knuckle-dragging monosyllabic troglodytes getting what they deserve.  Yeah, acting like a moron for the world’s media is really keeping the focus on Caylee and on getting her home.

There’s something that has always confused me.  Why use chloroform?  Something like NyQuil is much easier to get, easier to explain in the household, and possibly easier to explain how the child could have gotten hold of it (someone didn’t tighten the cap down far enough, the child thought it was Kool-Aid, etc).  It occurs to me that chloroform is widely used in the movies, on television shows, and in noir-type mystery books as a quick and effective way to knock people out leaving no evidence behind.  However, there are many bad side effects to using chloroform, the worst of which is death:

Exposure to chloroform occurs mainly through breathing or skin contact. Exposure to the vapour can irritate the eyes, nose and throat. Lower concentrations of chloroform can cause dizziness, fatigue, light-headedness, nausea, confusion and headaches. Higher levels may induce anaesthesia with changes in respiratory rate, cardiac effects (e.g. irregular heart beats), gastrointestinal effects (e.g. nausea and vomiting) and effects on the liver and kidneys. Exposure to very high levels can result in death. A fatal oral dose of chloroform may be as low as 10 mL (14.8 g) with death due to respiratory or cardiac arrest. Breathing chloroform or ingesting chloroform over long periods of time may damage liver (such as hepatitis and jaundice), kidneys, skin and central nervous system (such as depression and irritability). Skin contact with the liquid can cause a rash or a burning feeling. Repeated skin contact may produce dermatitis. Absorption through intact skin occurs rapidly. The liquid can cause severe eye burns. Chloroform is a probable carcinogen (agent that causes cancer) and it may be teratogenic (may cause foetal abnormalities).

I mean, it seems to me that if Casey were using chloroform to knock out Caylee so Casey could go party, that would cause more problems than it would “solve”, as a child exposed to chloroform might be more likely to be throwing up and complaining of a headache than sleeping soundly and peacefully.  As difficult as it used to be to regulate the dosage in adults (when chloroform was used in surgery, during WWII and before), the fine line between sleeping and death might be even finer in a child.  Chloroform to make a child sleep just does not seem practical to me.  Like I said, why use that when something like NyQuil or Benadryl is handier, easier to obtain, and easier to explain away in the home?

No, if there are traces of chloroform in the trunk of the car, and if Casey’s laptop shows evidence that someone searched out how to make chloroform, then what else could it be?  Cleaning fluids, drugs, or perhaps evidence of a murder?  I think the latter…I hope I am wrong, I hope it can be explained some other way, but at this point I don’t see what it would be.

We are a blog, not hard-hitting news. These are our opinions. GlossLip has continuing coverage of the disappearance of Caylee Anthony here.

  1. The Orlando sentinel is posting actual tips that
were released today. I think the people who call in tips must be mentally unbalanced. One woman said the KKK has Caylee and that they paid for her and use children in satanic rituals. What a thing to have to read by police or the Anthonys.

Scott Peterson writing Casey Anthony in jail
10:15 California death-row inmate Scott Peterson has been writing letters to Casey Anthony in the Orange County Jail, sources said.

Peterson was convicted of killing his wife Laci, and unborn son, Conner, three years ago. Laci Peterson, who was eight months pregnant at the time, was reported missing in December 2002 from their Modesto, Calif. home. The bodies of Laci and the unborn child washed ashore in April 2003 in the San Francisco Bay. Peterson was charged in their deaths after the bodies were found.

  21. There is a slide show that shows Casey and Tony
Lazzaro at a video store – arm in arm renting a movie
just hours after police think Caylee died. Here
    is the story:

    REPORT FROM http://www.wftv.com:
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — June 16 is the date Caylee Anthony likely died. Eyewitness News retraced Casey Anthony’s steps on that fateful day and talked to the man who saw Casey just hours after Caylee’s death.
“No emotion, no tears and no regrets,” is how Casey was described on that day of death, when she rented a movie about a kidnapper and killer just hours after, detectives believe, she murdered her daughter.
Never before seen surveillance photos show accused killer Casey Anthony and her boyfriend walking into an east Orange County Blockbuster (see map) just before 8:00pm on Monday June 16, just hours after her daughter Caylee was last seen alive by Casey’s father at home.
The new photos show Casey without Caylee, arm in arm with her boyfriend, after they chose two movies to rent. One rented was “Untraceable,” about a kidnapper and killer. The other was “Jumper,” about a mother who abandons her 5-year-old child, who then can teleport himself.

“They came in, went out,” Johnny French told Eyewitness News. “Brought the movies back on time just like everybody else.”

French rented the movies to Casey and her boyfriend that night. He said there was nothing about the couple that stood out as unusual.

“They seemed normal and she seemed fine. If there was something wrong it would have stood out. I just don’t remember them doing anything unusual,” French said.

Casey’s phone records show she made seven phone calls in the three and half hours between 2:45pm and 6:15pm that afternoon, the time during which investigators think Caylee may have died. Two were made to Arden Villas Apartments off University and Alafaya, apparently to friends. Casey’s ex-best friend, Amy Huizenga, told investigators Casey called her that day and said she needed to find a place to live.

Caylee’s grandfather told investigators the last time he saw Caylee was at 12:50pm on June 16. He remembered her sunglasses and her ponytail as she left with Casey, who claimed they were spending that night at the nanny’s.

“That’s the last time I saw my granddaughter,” George Anthony told investigators.

Investigators say Casey stayed on the east side of town, as usual, during the six hours or so between when Caylee was last seen alive and she showed up her with her boyfriend, but her exact whereabouts are unclear.

  23. I do not understand this girl. I think she killed
Caylee, but its still difficult for me to believe
the absolute nonchalance in attitude of seeing her
stroll arm and arm through the store with Tony.
Under any scenario, kidnapping, selling Caylee,
accidental death, whichever you choose to believe
about what happened to Caylee – what kind of person
can, just a few hours later, be so completely at ease
and relaxed enough to go out with her boyfriend
and rent movies? Caylee was definitely gone on the
date that Casey is seen in these videos. No one has
seen Caylee from that date on – so we have to assume
that what happened to Caylee happened just before
    these videos were taken.
Casey’s actions are one for the textbooks.

  25. Casey is just devoid of empathy. She clearly has a personality disorder. People like her are a serious danger to society and everyone around her.

Maybe our courts don’t consider personality disorders to qualify for inclusion in an insanity defense. Maybe they should as Casey doesn’t seem to have access to a conscience. If you feel bad when you see you have hurt someone, it stops you from behaving that way again. The pain and suffering of others passes right by Casey.

Not much treatment is available to such people. Maybe that is just the lot of a percentage of humans to be that way, by accident of birth or their environment or a combination of the two. I’ve known my share of people with narcissistic personality disorders and guilt rarely plagues them barring little cracks here and there.

    Sad…………….

  27. Yes its sad – also today Todd Black according to the Orlando Sentinel cast aspersions on Tim Miller
using the search for Caylee to get money for his organization. No wonder people dislike the Anthonys
so much. Tim Miller has a wonderful reputation, and
lost a daughter who was murdered. He tries to help wheverever he can and this search coming up for Caylee
in November will be very expensive. The Anthonys dont
want anyone to search for Caylee’s body, its as simple as that. Maybe they should delve into some
of the 4000 tips mostly from psychics and people
who have dreamt where Casey is to chase down leads.

  29. How do people become liars? Perhaps Casey learned it at home. The whole family seems a little off from the quotes I have heard and read. God speed Caylee’s spirit, which is better off without these monsters around her. I love my daughters, but if so many signs regarding a missing grandchild (god forbid) were floating around me, I hope I would have the courage to call it what it was and not cover a lie with another one. Own up, Mr. & Mrs. Anthony. Your daughter is a murderer. Assist the state with putting her away so she cannot hurt anyone else! You owe your grandchild that, at least.

Karen, I have followed a case for 21 years of a child molester who has a personality disorder much like what Casey seems to have. He was sentenced for his crime, and when he had completed the time, he was held in a medical type facility for criminals. He will be there until the day he dies because he is a danger to society. I doubt Cassey will be able to avoid trial based on her disorders.

  35. I was just reading about the Leah Walsh case- very sad
in New York. They found her body and her husband confessed to killing her and staging a hoax to cover it up. Now however, the attorney says there was a
“rush to judgment” Unbelieveable! these attorneys.
    From the article today:
Walsh’s attorney insisted at his client’s arraignment that police made a “rush to judgment.”
But the chief of the Nassau County homicide squad said Walsh has given verbal and written confessions.
    End article.
Even when these people confess it isnt good enough anymore. We as taxpayers have to pay for these lowlifes to have their trial even when they admit
    to doing the crime.
I heard Lee Anthony is asking people not to donate
money to Texas Equusearch. I think that the Anthonys
realize its not in their interest for Caylee’s body to be found. This is incomprehensible to me. Because
they cannot KNOW what happened to Caylee. They
can BELIEVE Casey, but they dont know for sure. Why
hamper people who truly want to look for Caylee
and bring her body home for burial if she is out there. Not that, after all this time, there is much
“body” to find. The Anthonys agenda is quite clear
and its not about finding Caylee, its about getting
    Casey out of another jam.

  39. I agree there is no reason for the Anthony’s to not support or discourage support of Equusearch, or provide an article of Caylee’s clothing for that matter. It doesn’t prevent them from looking for an alive Caylee. And, I also don’t think it’s a matter of diverting limited funds. I think the people who would donate to Equusearch would probably be of the believe that she is dead and not want to donate to the Anthony’s fund to help search for an alive Caylee.

Also, who cares if Equusearch is raising funds for their organization through this case. They are a worthy cause.

The one thing that I wonder about is the murder one charge. I think that will be hard to not have a reasonable doubt about. Because it’s quite possible that it was an accident and just negligent homicide. Casey could have drugged Caylee, researched this in advance, and gone off to party expecting Caylee to wake up. Then researched the missing kids as a cover up.

I haven’t checked the dates her search on missing kids sites. Was this before or after June 16th? I guess that info would make a difference to me.

    Comment by Karen — October 30, 2008 @ 3:13 pm

  41. It was actually months before June 16th that she researched missing children websites. From what
I understand aggravated battery resulting in death
or child abuse resulting in death can be punishable
by the death penalty. Drugging Caylee or anyone else
for that matter regardless of intent that results
in death is not excusable as an accident. Certainly
drugging this little girl and putting her in a car
trunk would be considered child abuse and battery on
a child.Involuntary manslaugther also called criminal negligent homicide has a penalty in Florida of 15 years to life. I assume involuntary manslaughter is used in drunk driving cases where the driver kills someone. I believe that what we think of as an “accident” meaning she might have drugged Caylee
but didnt “intend” for her to die wouldnt be considered accidental death, its the drugging part
and placing her in a potentially airless place like
the trunk, that brings into play the battery and child abuse, thereby resulting in death. I think if it were a mother who left a 3 year old in a pool
unsupervised and the child died – that they might
be able to make a case for involuntary manslaughter
    under those circumstances.

  61. Gosh, Im really naive! – when a lot of posters thought there was something going on with Casey and Baez
I really discounted it. However knowing Caseys
proclivities to come on to every man she meets,
maybe its possible! Tony Pipitone of local6.com
has been working on a timeline to figure out when
    Caylee might have died: Article:
Pipitone said to understand why investigators believe Caylee is dead starts early in the morning of June 16, when Anthony called her boyfriend, Tony Lazzaro, from her parents’ house.
The 80-minute phone call ended at 1:05 a.m., and Anthony then had a conversation via text messages with Lazzaro until Lazzaro called her at 3:08 a.m.
known what was discussed, but less than 10 hours later, Caylee, who was 2 at that time, was seen for the last time by her grandfather, George Anthony, Pipitone reported.
“Ten minutes to 1 (o’clock) that afternoon on the 16th is when I actually saw Casey and Caylee together — both leaving with backpacks — and my daughter said she was going to work, and she was taking Caylee to the nanny, to the baby sitter,” George Anthony said.
Just before 8 p.m., seven hours after Caylee was last seen alive, Casey Anthony and Lazzaro are seen on surveillance video visiting the Blockbuster store near his apartment on University Boulevard. Caylee is not in the video.
Lazzaro told Local 6 News that he had not seen Caylee at that point for two weeks.
The video is one reason investigators believe June 16 may have been the day Caylee died, Pipitone reported.
“What happened in the next hours is even more intriguing. Tony (Lazzaro) and Casey rented two movies for that night. One one of them (was) “Untraceable,” which contains a graphic scene that is even more chilling when you consider where Caylee’s body may have been,” Pipitone said. “The movie shows an FBI agent being pursued by a sadistic cyber-stalker who pops the trunk of a car and is overcome by the smell of a fly-infested, rotting corpse left by the killer in the trunk of the car.”
Investigators believe Caylee’s body was left in the trunk of her mother’s car, where it decomposed, emitting an odor that Casey Anthony’s mother, Cindy Anthony, identified, Pipitone reported.
“It smells like there’s been a damn dead body in the car,” Cindy Anthony said in a 911 call.
“Whether the movie scene is a clue to what Casey might have already done or was about to do — or even where Caylee may have been on the same night they rented that movie — only Casey can answer that, and she’s not talking,” Pipitone said.
Pipitone said he will continue to investigate the timeline into the case using cell phone records that show who Casey Anthony was talking to or texting.
    END ARTICLE

so the big question is – what the heck did Casey
do with Caylee during those hours?

  63. I found this article really interesting about sociopaths by Dr Liane J. Leedom MD.
Casey seems overly sexual and apparently this is a hallmark also of sociopathy in individuals. Also
Dr Leedom says sociopaths have no “care-taking”
    ability:
    ARTICLE:
The most important part of human character, Dr. Leedom believes, is the ability to love. The ability to love is the key to happiness, as well as psychological and physical wellbeing. When people develop their ability to love and fully enjoy relationships, she says, they are immunized against addiction and antisocial behavior.

According to Dr. Leedom, people with the ability to love do ALL of the following in relationships:

Feel and enjoy affection toward special people.
Show empathy toward those they love.
Want to take care of those they love.
At times sacrifice their own desires in order to care for others.
Sociopaths lack ability to love. Dr. Leedom says sociopaths may experience fleeting feelings of affection, but the joy they get from these feelings is far less than the joy they get from having power and control over others. Their inability to love is also called “emotional callousness” by scientists.

Sociopaths lack empathy. Empathy stops people from hurting others. This is because an empathetic person actually feels another person’s pain. Someone who is routinely emotionally and/or physically abusive toward others does not have empathy.

Dr. Leedom says sociopaths generally show no care-taking behavior, and rarely or never sacrifice their own needs for those of others. When they do show caring, she says, there is always a hidden agenda.
Sociopaths characteristically have poor impulse control. This makes them aggressive and overly sexual. “Generally speaking, if a sociopath thinks of it, he or she does it,” Dr. Leedom says. “They exhibit little planning and forethought, and show a lack of consideration for consequences.” END

  69. Elaine,

Regarding your theory in the previous 10-14 blog…

The shovel was used to break into the shed? Was there proof of forced entry into the shed when George made the report? Or just missing cans? The keys were in the house regardless. I just dont think Casey could break a lock with a shovel. Was the lock “hindge” ripped from the door?

I am intrested in the theory fur sure and don’t have any holes…

    Thx

  71. To MS: The report said the shed was “broken into”. I assumed the lock was broken. However, maybe she used the shovel to part the doors of the shed. They are usually made of aluminum but some sheds are also made of rubber.
Maybe she wedged the shovel into the doors and parted
them enough to get the gas cans. I know that they
were locked because gas had been stolen from the
Anthonys shed before. She wouldnt use a key because then there would be no forced entry and the Anthonys would know she used the key and stole the cans.
This is just a theory of mine for why she needed a shovel as I never believed she buried Caylee in her parents backyard. And of course, it could all be wrong!

  75. The most shocking thing about this whole case for me was Casey’s comment on the phone to her friend where she says she’s in jail on some “whim.”

She just doesn’t have anything empathy inside of her to regulate her behavior. To a degree maybe that is beyond her control, and for that I do feel a certain compassion for her. However, I’d like to see her put away for life in someplace for the criminally insane.

  77. This thing with Baez hugging Casey is not going to be looked into, however, if Casey were to have had, even
one time, an intimate relation with Baez, & if she were convicted she could use that fact to get her verdict overturned, using the excuse that he emotionally could not defend her properly. Also Cindy and Lee are getting more and more desperate the closer that November 8th approached and the huge search starts. Ive always felt that both Cindy and Lee know what happened to Caylee. If they know where her body is buried, it might be why Lee has said some really bad things about Tim Miller and they are being so vocal about Caylee not being in the woods. With Casey facing lethal injection, there is no doubt in my mind that Cindy would want to save her, even at the expense of not finding Caylee’s body. If she is so sure Caylee is alive, then she should welcome the search as she would be certain that nothing would be found! Not that there will be a body – the most
they could hope for are bones and some scraps of clothing. If she put Caylee in water, then they would find nothing, but Im now betting maybe Caylee is buried somewhere. If Casey weighed down the body and
put it in the water she couldnt be sure that it would stay down so burial would be the most logical choice.
I pray they find Caylee so she gets the justice she deserves.

  79. Now that this case has taken a back seat to new news the entire Anthony clan can finally stop fighting the “media worthy” details related to the case and struggle with facing the truth! Once the little princess is found they should all be left alone to deal with the process.

    Think about this though…

Casey has always ignored the emotions tied to the so-called disappearance then kidnapping. Remorse is really a bad word that everyone is using because remorse would be an emotion tied to guilt.

DESPAIR however has not been noticed in Casey’s demeanor which would go hand-in-hand when your world has been taken. Despair in knowing that a child is missing. Lack of despair shows she either knows the child is safe or dead.

Once Caylee is found the answer becomes vivid.

  81. Another Mother kills her small child…

Investigators Say Kehoe Confessed to Killing One Son, Injuring the Other

October 31, 2008–Police are waiting for Michelle Kehoe’s discharge
from an Iowa City hospital, after charging the Coralville woman with
killing her two-year-old son, and severely injuring his seven-year-old
    brother.
On Sunday evening, Michelle Kehoe and her two sons were reported
missing by Michelle’s husband. The family was heading to Sumner,
but never arrived. On Monday, Michelle walked into a home in Littleton
and claimed her family was in danger. When police found Michelle’s van,
seven-year-old Sean lay injured inside, and two-year-old Seth lay outside,
dead from a stab wound to the neck.
Court documents released Thursday describe the unthinkable. A mother
    – 35-year-old Michelle Kehoe — accused of faking her own abduction,
then trying to kill her seven-year-old son before stabbing her two-year-
    old to death.
The boy who survived, but was seriously injured, told investigators his
mom duct taped his eyes, nose and mouth, and removed him from the van.
He then felt his neck being cut by his mother, and after that he heard his
younger brother call out and saw his mom hurting him.
Authorities say Kehoe confessed to planning the crime. Investigators say
she bought the duct tape two months ago and the knife one month ago.
That’s around the same time investigators say she wrote a note detailing a
    phony abduction.
Kehoe can’t explain to investigators why she did it. Just that she can’t face
anyone, and that she wants to die or be locked up where she can’t hurt anyone
else. She faces charges of first degree murder, attempted murder and child
endangerment. Her family issued a statement saying, “We deeply appreciate
the prayers, thoughts and kind words of so many people during this family tragedy.”

  87. It is so hard to imagine a mother killing a small child, but even harder for me to imagine a mother planning to kill her child/children. So Kehoe says she wants to die, can’t face people, etc. It is my understanding that a person can leave their children at a hospital and walk away. I wonder what keeps these mothers from doing this, rather than kill the child.
In regard to Casey & her family, the longer this goes on, the more suspect I become of the whole family. (Casey, Cindy, & Lee) What in the world are these people planning?
BTW… I live in Iowa, thus my awareness of the Kehoe murder and attempted murder of the children.

  91. Below is part 2 of Tony Pipitone’s investigation
into the timeline of the Casey Anthony case.
Its really quite fascinating. Casey either made
or received 754 phone or text messages in 14days.
Thats at average of 53 phone or text messages per day!
What was this girl up to?

ORLANDO, Fla. — Local 6 News investigative reporter Tony Pipitone tracked the movements of Casey Anthony, the woman charged with first-degree murder in the disappearance of her daughter, Caylee, by using cell phone records.

Caylee was last seen in mid-June but was not reported missing until a month later. Her mother was first charged with child neglect before being charged with murder.

Pipitone said he tracked Anthony from Monday, June 16 — the day Caylee was last seen alive — until Monday, June 30 — the day Anthony’s abandoned car was towed from an Orange County Amscot.
The trunk of Anthony’s car had a stench that investigators claim was from Caylee’s body, Pipitone reported.

According to records, Anthony’s cell phone “pinged” 20 different cell towers 754 times in the two-week period. Each time, her cell phone received or sent a text message or phone call, Pipitone reported.

Ninety-seven percent of the pings were to either her boyfriend’s apartment near Winter Park, her friend’s home in Orlando — where she sometimes stayed — her parents’ home off Chickasaw Trail and the Fusian nightclub, where she was photographed partying while Caylee was missing, Pipitone said.

The other 3 percent of the pings — especially during three days in June — have raised questions, Pipitone said.

On Monday, June 16, Anthony’s father, George Anthony, said he he saw his daughter and granddaughter leave his house at about 1 p.m.

“But if they did leave at that time, the cell records show they did not go far. Casey’s cell phone communicated that afternoon through the same three cell towers she could reach from her home,” Pipitone said.

At 1 p.m., Anthony made a 14-minute call to her boyfriend, Tony Lazzaro. At 1:44 p.m., she made a 36-minute call to her then-best friend, Amy Huizenga. At 2:52 p.m., there was an 11-minute
call with ex-fiance Jesse Grund. All of the calls used cell towers that can be reached from her parents’ home, Pipitone said.

But at 4:11 p.m., Anthony began trying to reach her mother, Cindy Anthony, making four attempts in two minutes, according to records. Anthony then traveled north from her parent’s home and called Lazzaro for one minute at 4:19 p.m., Pipitone reported. Two minutes later, she talked to Grund for a minute, and tried to call her mother again at 4:25 p.m., Pipitone said.

There was no other communication from Anthony’s cell phone until a call was made to Lazzaro’s apartment at 5:57 p.m., records show.

Two hours later, Anthony and Lazzaro were captured on surveillance video at a Blockbuster, renting a movie that contains a scene of a rotting body in a car trunk, Pipitone said.

On June 17, Anthony returned to her parents’ home around 2:30 p.m., Pipitone reported. At 4 p.m., her phone pinged a tower southwest of the house near Lee Vista Boulevard and South Goldenrod Road, an area where detectives have directed Equusearch volunteers to search for Caylee weeks ago.

At 5:20 p.m., a tower was pinged near Blanchard Park, another site searched in August by Equusearch. Anthony’s cell phone went silent from 5:23 p.m. until 8:23 p.m., perhaps prompting investigators to search the area, Pipitone said.

“It was then that Casey’s phone pinged a cell tower near boyfriend Tony Laazaro’s apartment,” Pipitone said. “By then, around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, Caylee had not been seen alive for nearly a day and a half. But remember, chemical evidence in the trunk of Casey’s car indictaes the decomposing body was there up to two and half days after death, so a key
question for anyone looking for Caylee’s body (is) ‘Where did Casey go next?’”

On Wednesday, June 18, the day Casey’s parents’ neighbor said Anthony borrowed a shovel and backed her car into the garage, cell phone pings show that Anthony was at or near her parents’ home from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., Pipitone said.

Anthony’s phone later pinged a different spot near the Econ Trail, south of Lake Underhill, records show. It’s also a location that detectives guided Equusearch volunteers to look for signs of Caylee’s body, Pipitone said.

Equusearch will return to that area Nov. 8 to continue the search, Pipitone reported.

Scientific evidence suggests that a body left its chemical signature in the trunk of Anthony’s car after decomposing for less than two and a half days, which would be about the same time period between the aforementioned cell phone pings, Pipitone said.

    “Circumstantial, but interesting,” Pipitone said.

  95. Here is something I picked up from a website about
circumstantial evidence I thought was interesting:

The most surprising thing I learned is that circumstantial evidence is used to convict successfully in the majority of criminal trials. That’s because, in most cases, direct evidence is hard if not impossible to come by. It seems there just aren’t that many criminals running around out there dropping little bits of direct evidence in the paths of their pursuers. As a matter of fact, most of them go out of their way to make sure NO direct evidence can be connected to them or their crime. They don’t leave anything glaring laying around that would allow prosecutors to say, “Yep, you did it. Someone saw you do it. Here’s your ticket to jail.” Instead, most investigators are left saying, “We know you did it, and there’s a lot of stuff out there that points to the fact that you did it. Nobody actually saw you do it, but all the stuff we do know, when looked at as a whole, points directly at you and nobody but you.” It’s just not true, (as much as defense attorneys would like you to believe it), that circumstantial evidence isn’t valid. It does require a witness, and that witness is usually the policeman that found the evidence, or an expert witness who examined it for it to be considered admissible. That type of witness is called a sponsor or authenticating witness.

    Definition of Circumstantial evidence:

A group of facts that when considered as a whole, can be used to come to a logical conclusion about something not known.

It is indirect evidence that implies something occurred but doesn’t directly prove it.

It is evidence used in criminal courts to establish a defendant’s innocence or guilt through reasoning.

    What is considered circumstantial evidence:

The behavior of a person around the time of the alleged crime is considered circumstantial evidence. If someone is charged with stealing money and then is seen on a shopping spree buying things that are so expensive he couldn’t afford to buy them on his own, the shopping spree is considered to be circumstantial evidence of the person’s guilt.

Fingerprints, blood analysis and DNA analysis of the evidence found at a crime scene are all considered circumstantial evidence. They can infer a certain conclusion when considered with other facts, but if no one actually saw the crime being committed, it’s all still considered circumstantial evidence. If the evidence is proved by expert witnesses, that evidence is usually sufficient to decide a case-especially in the absence of direct evidence.

    Direct Evidence:

Facts proven by witnesses who personally saw deeds or heard words spoken which constitute irrefutable proof.

    Reasonable doubt:

If, in the minds of the jury, a doubt exists which may have arisen from the evidence, or lack of evidence. A doubt that would exist in the mind of a reasonable person after fully, fairly, and carefully considering all of the evidence–or lack of evidence, is reasonable doubt and the defendant must be found not guilty.

If there is more than one logical conclusion inferable from the same set of circumstances, where one conclusion implies a defendant’s guilt and another their innocence, the benefit of the doubt principle would apply. End

If after reading the above, can anyone think of
a reasonable doubt scenario in Casey’s case?
I cannot but Id welcome a theory on it!

  101. REPORTED FROM WFTV.COM

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Caylee Anthony’s grandfather is desperate to find his granddaughter. An eyewitness reportedly saw George Anthony standing and staring into the woods near Hoffner Avenue in east Orange County
Now, a WFTV viewer says she saw George Anthony at the same spot early in the evening on October 30 looking into the woods. The area is easily accessible by car, yet easy to disappear into and it’s less than four miles from where Casey Anthony and Caylee lived with Casey’s parents.

The WFTV viewer said she saw Caylee’s grandfather George’s car parked in the area around 6:15pm on October 30 and that he was staring into the woods. Then she saw him get into his car and drive away. She figured he was looking for Caylee and the information was passed on to law enforcement.

Casey’s defense team’s public relations representative said they were aware George was there, that it has nothing to do with what the defense is doing and that there might be certain things that involve the case that they can’t talk about.
Late Tuesday afternoon, Caylee’s grandmother Cindy text messaged WFTV reporter Kathi Belich to say George was looking at the woods to scout out another possible location for the KidFinders tent that they take around town asking for donations and tips in the case.

  103. Orlandocentinel.com is reporting that Baez has asked
for check fraud charges to be put off until after murder trial. The judge has given them another hearing next month. That is too bad because I believe
she would have been convicted quickly and then she would have had to be sent to a prison in the general
population. That could have possibly put pressure on
her to fess up to where Caylee is. Hopefully the November 8th search will find Caylee’s remains.
    Below is the article:

Casey Anthony’s attorney asked a judge this morning to hold off on the check-fraud case against Anthony until after the first-degree murder trial was complete. Anthony, 22, is charged with murder in the death of her missing daughter, who would have turned 3 in August.

This morning, Attorney Jose Baez also waived Anthony’s right to a speedy trial in the check-fraud case. Baez wants to deal with the murder case before the check-fraud charges.

She’s accused of stealing checks from a friend and buying several items, including groceries and clothes, from local stores. The allegations surfaced during the investigation into her missing daughter.

Orange Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland agreed to continue the check-fraud hearing until next month when another hearing is scheduled for the murder charge.

Anthony is facing a slew of charges including first-degree murder in the death of her young daughter Caylee Marie Anthony, who has not been seen since June. Anthony has maintained that she left her daughter with a baby sitter in June and when she went back to pick her up, the woman and Caylee were gone. Investigators have yet to find the baby-sitter and do not believe she exists.

Anthony is being held on no bond in the Orange County Jail.

  107. I think there are a lot of things going on in George’s mind. Release of the tips to the defense
were mostly crazies and psychics that had the most bizzare theories. Also the Anthonys installed their own tip line and I believe the same type of off-the-wall tips have been coming into them. Nothing credible. The Anthonys know and are very upset about
Tim Miller and the big search on November 8th. I believe that George is now coming around to the opinion that Caylee might be buried in the woods.I
have always believed that Cindy and Lee know Caylee
is dead, but not George and that they have kept that
from him. Padilla stated that Cindy and Casey would
be together in the house but George kept his distance
from Casey when she was out on bond and Padilla was observing her behavior. George would always be in
another room away from Casey and had little interaction with her.
I dont know why George has never been by that area before or if he had, I think he just wanted to see it again and stopped. Maybe he was even going to go into the woods himself and decided against it or has actually searched in the woods but been unobserved.
In any case, I dont think Cindy knew until after the fact about George being out there, and to stop any speculating called and offered that lame excuse to Kathi Belich of wftv.

  109. Miami attorney asks for no death penalty
article today from the Orlando Sentinel:

A Miami lawyer hired by Casey Anthony’s defense team gave prosecutors Wednesday a report that outlined why the single mother accused of killing her child should not get the death penalty.

The 30-page packet highlights problems with some of the evidence, defines how details in Anthony’s case does not fit the state criteria needed for the death penalty — a penalty reserved for the worst of the worst homicides.

It touches on Anthony’s erratic behavior after her daughter’s birth that suggests signs of emotional or mental distress. The report ended with pictures of Anthony during happier times as a child surrounded by her parents and her brother.

“Casey Anthony is a unique individual. A close inspection of her case clearly supports not filing a notice seeking death,” attorney Terence Lenamon wrote in a report obtained by the Orlando Sentinel.

The State Attorney’s Office would not confirm whether it received the report, which is not public record. Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee Marie, who was reported missing on July 15. The body of Caylee – who would have turned 3 in August – has not been found.

Anthony told investigators that she left Caylee with a baby sitter in mid-June. When she returned later that day, both the baby sitter and Caylee were gone. Detectives have not been able to locate the baby sitter and question whether she exists.

Prosecutors have not decided yet whether the state will pursue the death penalty. If they do seek death, the trial will be divided into two sections: the guilt/innocent phase and the sentence phase.

Lenamon’s report addresses the sentence phase when the jury hears both why she should and should not get the death penalty.

Some of the reasons outlined against death include: Lenamon pointed out the analysis techniques used on hair and air samples from her trunk to prove decomposition are “novel, experimental, in the early stages of development, inconclusive and high susceptible to mishandling,” he wrote. Even if the evidence is enough for a guilty verdict, it would not be enough to support the death penalty, Lenamon wrote.

Details of the Anthony case to do not rise to the level required for the death penalty, he wrote. She doesn’t have a criminal record. There is no history of abuse. The crime was not cold, calculated and premeditated. In the months leading up to Caylee’s disappearance, Anthony’s behavior was described by friends and family as “erratic and not entirely rational.”

He wrote that filicide – the act of a parent killing a child – is different than other homicides. The underlying reasons why mothers kill are complex and can be divided into various categories. For example, one type is a parent who kills under influence of mental illness. Another type suggests a parent’s motive may be to save the child from real or imagined harm.

Juries are more likely to show mothers mercy. He mentioned Andrea Yates – a Texas mother who drowned all five children – was sentenced to life in prison. Susan Smith, the Arkansas mother who pushed her car with her two children inside in a lake, got life in prison.

Lenamon wrote that experts will likely agree that Anthony as “suffering from episodes of extreme emotional distress and disturbance since her daughter’s birth.” Even the lack of emotion after her child’s disappearance and arrest “is not normal,” he wrote.

Lenamon also refers to other Orange County cases involving the death of a child. For example, Anita Simmons, who beat her 8-year-old daughter to death, got 42 years in prison.

“A careful consideration of the totality of the circumstances in this case leads to a clear conclusion that a filing a notice of the death penalty is no the right thing to do,” he wrote.
    End Article

So what was this erratic behavior by Casey after
    Caylees birth?

Anthony’s defense team also raises the possibility that Caylee may have been poisoned by chloroform, saying, “Death may have occurred while the child was sedated or from an unwitting overdose of a sedative.”

Anthony’s attorneys are also trying to show prosecutors that their client is an unlikely candidate for the death penalty because of her age and lack of a criminal record. Attorneys said the evidence suggests Anthony was a good, loving mother but also a troubled woman, who may be suffering from depression or other mental conditions, Local 6 News reported.

The defense admits that Anthony “spent money she does not have, wrote bad checks, had multiple unstable relationships and participated in risky behavior.”

The request did not mention the baby sitter whom Anthony said she left Caylee with at an apartment complex before never seeing her again. But the argument is not a case strategy, Local 6 News reported, rather only an attempt to get the death penalty option off the table.

  113. Hey Folks!
Down in Florida now. Took a (roadside) look at the area on Boggy Creek Road. This area is a mess! First off, extremely high traffic area. Difficult to pull over and not get slammed by psychotic Florida drivers!! Looking around, there is debris everywhere. Apparently, this is a usual dumping ground (illegal dumping). Lots of trash. The area has crime scene tape strewn through the bushes everywhere. I think our efforts will be best served helping Tim on Saturday. I do hope this will be a successfull last search.

  119. The statement released from the defense yesterday makes claim that IF Caylee did die, it COULD have been from a unwittingly overdose of sedatives and chloroform. I do not believe that the leak of this written statement of the defense as outlined on Nancy Grace was accidental. I also believe that they are beginning to set up a defense for Casey on lessor charges. I also feel like the letter was leaked (curiously) before this weekends search is to commence. Perhaps the defense is attempting to put a deal on the table before Caylee’s body is found. Once that babies remains are found all deals would be off.

As for the sighting of George a the edge of the woods. I believe that George has come to terms that Caylee is not coming home and has most likely come to accept that Casey has murdered Caylee. None of us knows for sure why George was there. Maybe he went there to say a prayer for Caylee, or to attempt to accept the unthinkable and just be alone to cry and mourn the loss of his granddaughter. Maybe he had no choice but to go alone, since Cindy doesn’t support the theory that Caylee is dead. I feel sorry for George. I hope the Equusearch finds Caylee and brings her home.

  121. If any remains are found from this search – they are likely to be only bones or possibly a few scraps of clothing. Its been too long and Caylee was so little.
Apparently there is now a growing disagreement between
Terence Lenamon the new attorney who is experienced
in death penalty cases (those he hasnt won any that he has tried that I have been able to find) and Jose
Baez. Baez apparently wants to base Caseys defense on
inconclusive evidence. Lenamon is seeking to get
the penalty of death taken off the table and present
an insanity or post-partum depression defense. I think the depression part is going to be really difficult to prove with evidence of Casey’s partying
with that huge smile on her face, dancing and drinking
and sleeping around. All her actions make her look
happy as a clam when she was away from Caylee. Also
Casey’s movements for the past two years have been
extremely well orchestrated and calculated. After all,
she had to hide the fact that she wasnt working. She
did this by sending herself emails and messages as
if from her boss at work and thought up myriad excuses
to get her parents and friends to watch Caylee so
she could go out and party or go to the beach or
whereever the heck she went. All pointing to a
clever sociopath not a depressive. In any case,
I hope we hear from Jeff as to the search and I hope
their search is a successful one.

case and are on all the basic websites that carry them
such as wftv and the orlando sentinenl. Interesting
interview of Casey with Childrens services. Casey
frequently refers to Caylee as “that child”.
I would never say that regarding my daughter –
either I would say “my child” or “my daughter”. I found that interesting.

  125. It gets more and more bizarre….

    Cindy Anthony threatens website blogger:

    WFTV: Florida
WOMAN SAYS CINDY ANTHONY THREATENED HER

Cindy Anthony can’t stand to hear that Caylee is dead and when she saw it online, she tracked down the author and threatened her. The victim remembered every word.

“If I only had the time to meet you face to face, I would definitely kick your ass,” the woman said Cindy told her.

The threatening phone call from Cindy was so disturbing that the victim filed a complaint with deputies. But when Eyewitness News confronted Cindy on Wednesday about her behavior, she denied everything.

Sunny Welker operates a website, “Justice For Caylee,” out of her home. She launched the website to provide a place for people to talk about the case, as well as gather information.

“I’m here for the child, not here for anyone else. I’m here to make sure she is brought home,” Welker told Eyewitness News on Wednesday.

But then last week, she received a startling phone call. Welker claims Cindy Anthony called her on the phone and started to threaten her because of the website.

“She told me she was very upset and I was impeding the investigation looking for an alive Caylee. My website was getting in the way of that,” Welker said. “If I only had the time to meet you face to face, I would definitely kick your ass.”

Welker filed a complaint with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office. Eyewitness News talked to Cindy Anthony and she said she never threatened Welker. Anthony said she didn’t appreciate Welker making money off of Caylee and was going to have the website shut down. She believes Welker was collecting money on her website selling bumper stickers.

“I explained we were not selling anything on the website. It’s there for information and to discuss the case and if they want to help and volunteer there is a link for EquuSearch,” Welker said.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office took the complaint for informational purposes. No crime has been committed.

  127. Cindy huge in denial….George admitted to the police he knew something was wrong from the start…….

    WFTV Florida:

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — New documents were released Thursday in the case against Casey Anthony that reveal what George and Cindy Anthony told investigators in the hours and days after Caylee Anthony was reported missing.

The State Attorney’s Office released 700 pages of new documents in the case Thursday and they show that George Anthony told investigators he felt something was wrong from the very beginning. The documents focus a lot on interviews George and Cindy Anthony did with sheriff’s deputies.

When sheriff’s investigators questioned Casey’s father George nine days after Caylee was reported missing, George told them he had “bad vibes” the very first day he got his car back and smelled the smell in the trunk, a smell, he said as a former law enforcement officer, he knows and would never forget.

Casey’s father George told investigators, “I don’t want to believe that I have, have raised someone and brought someone in this world that could do something to another person. I don’t want to believe that.”

George also told them, “I, I, I believe that there’s someone dead back there and I hate to say the word human. Um, I hate to say that.”

George told them, when he opened the trunk of the car, he said to himself, “Please don’t let this be my Caylee.”

But Thursday, Cindy told Eyewitness News she’s holding on to hope.

“No one’s brought me a body. No one’s proven that she’s dead. I’m not gonna give up on someone that I love that easy. And if I did, then what kind of person would I be? I’m not that person,” she said (full interview).

But George also told sheriff’s investigators that the very first night they found out Caylee was missing, Cindy told him, “We lost her. We lost her.” When he asked who, she said “Caylee.”

George also told investigators his daughter Casey lives on the edge, that she takes things as far as she can take them and then she piles on more. He said they caught her in lies about work and money and said she’s really good with computers.

Casey spent the Tuesday through Saturday around the 4th of July with Amy Huizenga, her former best friend. She told Amy that Caylee was at the beach with the nanny and with Cindy, but no one’s met the nanny.

Amy also told investigators that Casey made up a story that she saw Amy counting money while she was sound asleep. Amy later figured out that $400 was missing and never could find it.

Not only did Casey Anthony lie to her family, friends and investigators, George says she lied to her attorney Jose Baez. She told him she had $5,000, even though she didn’t and then she told him that he’d get the rest after she gets out of the situation.

    CINDY ANTHONY RELEASES STATEMENT

Cindy Anthony is reacting to defense attorneys’ claims that her granddaughter may have died from an accidental overdose.

In a statement released Thursday, she wrote:

“I feel that a good attorney will plan for the worse case scenario and hope for the best. I know that Casey’s attorneys know that she is innocent, but they cannot ignore how the media has already spun the facts and convicted her.

“Casey has been severely attacked by the media since she was first arrested, and anyone would be a fool to ignore that. All of the negative spin has done her an injustice. Just look at what it has done for poor Caylee. The media already has given up on looking for this child, when there is simply no credible or concrete evidence to prove that she is dead.

“The defense and the family will never give up on looking for Caylee. We continue to believe she is alive, and so should everyone else who has a conscience. I would ask anyone to ask themselves just how quick would they stop looking for someone that they loved?”

Casey Anthony’s attorneys have claimed little Caylee was simply missing. But in a 30-page document to prosecutors, the defense argued if Caylee is dead then it was almost certainly an accident. The change may be a possible attempt to spare their client from the death penalty.

  131. Karen – thanks for posting that link to the New Yorker article I quote from it below:
In the late nineteen-thirties, an American psychiatrist named Hervey Cleckley began collecting data on a certain kind of patient he encountered in the course of his work in a psychiatric hospital in Augusta, Georgia. These people were from varied social and family backgrounds. Some were poor, but others were sons of Augusta’s most prosperous and respected families. Cleckley set about sharpening the vague construct of constitutional psychopathic inferiority, and distinguishing it from other forms of mental illness. He eventually isolated sixteen traits exhibited by patients he called “primary” psychopaths; these included being charming and intelligent, unreliable, dishonest, irresponsible, self-centered, emotionally shallow, and lacking in empathy and insight.
“Beauty and ugliness, except in a very superficial sense, goodness, evil, love, horror, and humor have no actual meaning, no power to move him,” Cleckley wrote of the psychopath in his 1941 book, “The Mask of Sanity,” which became the foundation of the modern science. end quote
The above description is very much like Casey Anthony.
A genetic component may mean that she was born that
way, and possibly also with an environmental trigger
of a controlling mother and rather distant father.
But who can say for sure? I watched Nancy Grace
Padilla seems sure that some remains will be found.
Im not so sure. I read a lot of the released documents. George Anthony it seemed to me from his
interviews, suspected Caylee was dead. Cindy lied
about the stain in the back of the trunk of the car
saying it had been there from the time they bought the car for Lee years ago. Neither Cindy or George
have taken polygraph tests, which is something which
was reported that they had done. Nejame blamed them
not taking polygraphs on Cindys medication – but FBI agent from the panel said you could still take one even if on medication. What more could the Anthonys
be hiding? That car that smelled so bad how
did Casey Anthony drive around in it without the smell getting on her clothes? Surprise! George
Anthony doesnt like Jose Baez and questions his
motives – wants to know where Casey got $5000.00
to hire him initially, if indeed he was paid.
Nejame said tonight Anthonys have been paid no money
for any videos or pictures used in the media.
A motion for a gag order has been initiated against
defense council and Anthonys stating that Baez basically has become a publicity hound and that
the Anthonys use the media as a “pulpit” to sway
public opinion. Yeah, but which way – they dont seem
to be doing a good job in favor of Casey. Kobilinsky
who has been hired by Baez also was blased by the gag order. Nejame and Nancy Grace got into a real battle
on the air tonight. Nejame called Padilla “PT Barnun”
Padilla shot back that Barnun made money from
his most famous act which was Tom Thumb! could he
be referring to Mr. Nejame’s rather diminutive size?
One thing Padilla got right, this case is a
    CIRCUS!

  137. Reports today are that from 3000 to 5000 volunteers
are going to search for Caylee. If she really is
dead, please let them find her and bring her home
so she can be laid to rest in peace and so her
family and all of us who care about this little girl
can start to have some closure. Caylee to me is
symbolic of all the lost children that dont get all
the publicity and attention that they deserve,
but maybe because of her, more people will volunteer
to help to find the lost and abandoned.

Noelle (my fiancee) and I are headed out right now to meet up with the rest of the searchers!!!
We will be covering a 25 square mile area along with up to 5000 other searchers from 36 states!! There are helicopters, horses, ATV’s ect… We have both, great hopes of finding Caylee as well as great fears of finding her. Lets all hope that one way or another, this search is successful. I will write in tonight or tomorrow about the details (unless of course if we are told otherwise. Don’t want any media leaks!!!!) And as I said before, I will be posting pics on my myspace site. Take care all.

As the entire nation gives their heart towards the sympathy of Caylee & her family, Cindy continues to make America question her state of mind. I personally find it harder & harder to be thoughtful to her feelings considering.

What are you gonna say if she is found this weekend? More maneuverings away from the facts & truth I suppose.

searchers showed up and they need food and water donated. Terrain also reported to be still very swampy and still a lot of water. Tim Miller states that any remains would be skeletal so could be easy to miss. Search resumes again tomorrow. If nothing is found TES probably will not come back again. If nothing is discovered then only Casey can unlock this mystery and I dont think she will ever talk. Lets hope something turns up tomorrow.
