Just got back from Remembrance Service and it always strike me as I see the WW2 Vets marching off the pride they still have for their country and comrades they lost. Most of these fellows are in their 80s now and while their steps are a little slower and their salutes a little shaky, the tears in their eyes tell the whole story. They thought they had fought the war to end all wars and yet here we are with numerous conflicts still raging today. Today also marks the 90th anniversary of the end of WWI. Go see Paul Gross' movie Paschendale. For Canadians it mark a historic momment in our nation's history and gives greater meaning to Flander's field written by a Canadian Doctor who died not long after he wrote that poem. Less we forget!
