Glosslip Exclusive: Tom Cruise Cringes Like It’s His Birthday, As Scientology Throws Sucky Tribute

Tom and David’s big night out from Tom and David on Vimeo.

A while back, those cats at Gawker busted out a mini-clip from Tom Cruise’s 40th birthday party hosted by his best little buddy and dictator at the Church of Scientology, David Miscavige. Lucky for you, we got the full clip. I know, you can thank me later, or not.

The party was given on the AsbestosFreewinds, the Scientology-only cruise ship where all the cool people and higher level Scientologists do their training.

Rumor has it the party cost in the millions, all on the backs of slave work administered at the hands of Sea Org members (those are the Scientologists who sign sign the billion year contracts with the church and essentially work for free.

It’s totally awesome that Tom gets such special treatment from a supposed church. Like I wonder why the Pope doesn’t give Mel Gibson a special birthday party?

Video is long, and full of total lameness, but utterly worth watching to see itty bitty David Miscavige show off his guns and suck up like a little bitch to his number one celebrity shill.

(Many thanks to Dr3k for sharing this with us.)

P.S. With all the money the Church of Scientology has, you’d think they could have gotten some better talent for Tom’s b-day party. Warren Zevon would punch that chick for butchering one of the greatest songs ever. Criminal. I bet even Tom is doing an inside eyeroll at this b.s.

P.S.S. Is Davey M. unable to bend his arms? Seriously, WTF?

  21. Little Davey Miscavige is the only person on planet Teegeeack who makes Cruise look tall.

He no doubt is aware that if the Cruiser blows it’s all over for the cult of greed and power-$cientology.

  23. The citizens of Europe heard about North America with its wild Indians, buffalo, and untrodden plains stretching to the horizon. A group of them called themselves “anonymous” and chose not to reach for the adventure. Ready words of criticism frothed from their open mouths. Nonetheless, the plains were settled. North America was about freedom of space while Scientology is more about freedom of spirit.

  41. The guitarist (who?) is very good, the singer (who?) is lousy, and is apparently a fan of the Diane Keaton/Angela Merkel clothing style, and the three dancing clamettes are just terrible.

  43. The second singer (who?) is even worse. Not only she can’t sing at all (it is really painful), but she looks as if she has been on the RPF for years until yesterday.

  47. Let’s not forget this birthday party was BEFORE the Freewinds got dry docked for blue asbestos contanmination.
SO…. looks like Cruise got the birthday gift that keeps on giving? Mesolthelioma? sp?

Any band member, crew member, performer, child, guest or what have you have all been contaminated with airborne blue asbestos fibers that Scientlogy was TOLD about back in the 1980s! They did NOTHING about it for over 20 years until Curacoa authoriies shut them down last May.

The Freewinds was refurbished, but a source says that the was asbestos sprayed in the electrcial and duct work behind the walls so extensively, that even with new walls, the asbestos still remains and still can be circultaed through the ventilation system.

Scientology KNEW about the asbestos because Lawrence Woodcraft told them over 20 years ago. Instead Scientology continued to book cruises and put all their guests and thier workers at risk.

Anyone who has been on the Freewinds should tell their doctor they have been exposed to blue asbetsos. It is the MOST dangerous kind. You can not get rid of it, once it is in your lungs.
Symptoms may not show up for YEARS.

There should be a class action law suit.
This is one of MANY crimes of Scientlogy’s.

  49. Terryeo what do you know about ANY freedom?
    That is laughable.

And speaking of space….. and I don’t mean the space where the body thetans came from that you believe are all over your body, I mean real estate space.
You know the real estate space owned by Scientology that pays NO taxes on? The IRS also allows Scientology to write off course and books off their taxes! They are the ONLY religion allowed to do that. WHY is that? huh? BECAUSE THE IRS WAS BLACKMAILED.

They are not a religion by any stretch of the imagination.

I wonder what Terryeo thinks of the Scientology Tax Exemption Revoke idea that was on Obama’s top ten list with over 52,000 votes in favor of having Scientology’s tax exemption revoked?

Gotta suck to be in an unpopular cult right now… huh Terryeo?

Maybe you should try some other fad religion like Kabala… they are also kinda wacky, and popular with dumb ass stars…. but at least they dont’ hurt people.

  57. A glosslip exclusive and a Wikipedia page were having a drink in a bar when a Scientologist walked in. Did you two hear about the warm milk and cookies we didn’t give to the first anonymous demonstrators, back in March of 2008, he asked? The Master at Arms told us we could, the Executive officer told us we shouldn’t and we didn’t have any warm milk, anyway. So we didn’t.

Interesting the way Tom clutches his head during “Old Time Rock and Roll” by Bob Seger, is there something in that?

  61. @ Terryeo – #12:

You do realize that the settling of North America be Europeans lead to the slaughter and death of tens of thousands of Native Americans, right? And those that weren’t killed by war were subjected to harm/death by diseases like small pox? Are you saying scientology is like a group of people who try to take over somewhere that people already exist happily and kill those that stand in their way? Wait, that might not be such a bad comparison after all.

    @ Apple – #29:

    Say what?
