Heather Mills: My Friends Can’t Get A Man, But I Can…Because I’m Good Enough, I’m Smart Enough, And Doggone It, People Like Me!

I’m sure that $50M you have sitting in the bank doesn’t hurt either.

The only piece of Beatlemania that is available to the general public states that she doesn’t understand why people say it’s so hard to get a date:heathershort

“I’ve got so many stunning girlfriends who can’t get a boyfriend,” the one-legged ex-wife of Paul McCartney tells Page Six Magazine in this Sunday’s Post. “But when I go out here, I get asked out all the time, and my girlfriends – who are better looking than me – say, ‘How the hell does that happen?!’ Maybe it’s because I’m comfortable with myself.”

Absolutely.  That’s it, right there.  With her usual forthright candor and accuracy, she’s hit the nail squarely on the head.  Because being comfortable with yourself is what it is all about.  Never mind that huge multi-million chunk of change in the bank.  I’m sure that has absolutely nothing to do with it whatsoever.  She doesn’t really say if these “propositions” are from the guy who talks to his fingernails and lives behind her luxury apartment building in a refrigerator box, or the construction worker hooting and whistling and waving his crotch around…but then again, maybe I’m jumping to conclusions.  Perhaps I’m not as comfortable with myself as Heather is.  Besides, if you can’t see it as Heather sees it, then you’re just a meaty, flesh-eating, animal killing veggie hater.  You meaty, flesh-eating, animal killing veggie hater, you.

But this is just a day in the life for Heather, because apparently men have been falling all over themselves to ask  her out for a while now.  From September:

‘I’ve been single for two-and-a-half years now, so yeah, I’m ready to start dating again. Do I have lots of men hitting on me? Always! It’s very flattering. I’m not looking for any particular type of man, I don’t have an ideal. I’m open to different types of people and I’m now in a position to feel ready to move on and build a new relationship.’ [...]

Just as Heather refuses to talk about Sir Paul, so she refuses to reveal if there is anyone special in her life, although she was linked to holiday rep Jamie Walker, whom she met in Tenerife in June.

‘I feel I am ready now to date again,’ she says. ‘I’m very open to that idea of building up a relationship.’

With a younger man this time? ‘I don’t have any set ideas,’ she says.

Doesn’t she worry that some of these potential suitors might be, ahem, gold-diggers after a slice of her millions?

‘I don’t believe in using that kind of terminology,’ she says. ‘I like to think I can trust my instincts.’

Oh.  I could so run with that one.  But I’ll let that be the last word…I think it speaks for itself.

Yeah, for the same reason active alcoholics don’t like to be called drunks.

  7. She looks stoned.

And the funny thing is, she’d probably be more likable that way.

  11. Have you ever noticed that she is ALWAYS doing some sort of funky contortion with her mouth? I don’t even have to break a sweat looking for goofy photos of her, they just jump right out. I’ll say this for her, she has a very animated face.
