Photo Leak Of Battered Rihanna Horrifying, Chris Brown’s Attack Undeniably Vicious

TMZ has pictures of a battered and sad Rihanna which have been leaked to the public. Suffice it to say, she looks even worse than my imagination allowed, and I have a vivid imagination. There is little doubt that Chris Brown is a vicious person who needs REAL and LASTING mental help for his violent nature.
I don’t care one iota what Brown THINKS Rihanna did to deserve him beating her bloody and blue, there is no justification he can come up with for this appalling behavior, but worse than the initial assault, is what he’s done since.
Brown did finally issue an apology, and a sorry one at that:
“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired.I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones. I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person.Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say.”
That last sentence of his “apology” sums up the lack of sincerity in the entire one paragraph explanation for his actions. Brown didnt’t even mention Rihanna, as though she doesn’t exist and wasn’t the woman he was supposed to love.
The saddest part of all of this, besides what Rihanna and her family have been forced to endure, is this behavior will be glorified to those who look up to Brown. A real apology could have made some sort of serious impact in the minds of his fan, something like “What I did to Rihanna was the most egregious offense a person can do to another. Violence is an excuse for the weak and insecure. I hurt the woman I love and I can’t ever take it back or right the wrongs. I implore you to see my actions as an abomination. I beg for Rihanna’s forgiveness and that of public. I am deeply sorry.” But see, that would be MY apology for beating Rihanna, and well, Chris’ was barely an admission of guilt and more a protective measure. Covering his ass if you will.
Certainly Rihanna’s scars will heal and she will return to her former beautiful self in time. But what happens to her inside and those who love her and look up to her, the scars we can’t see, only time will tell how those will be addressed.
I predict this whole incident will ultimately be handled by, well, handlers. The LA County police department let these photos be leaked, either by accident (they claim they NEVER release victim’s pics, uh-huh) or on purpose. The prosecutors office seems to be having a hard time drumming up the kind of charges a non-famous person would face for similar actions. WOW, shocking, different rules apply to celebrities. OJ Simpson showed us that, as has Phil Spector and Robert Blake.
Violence happens in the real world all the time, women are beaten, children abused, people are killed, this however, does NOT make it ok. What Chris Brown did is NOT ok and he should not be let off the hook simply because he has a cute smile and is famous. If we are going to make an example of Michael Phelps toking on bong, hadn’t we better make an example of Chris Brown beating a woman and trying to choke her to death?
Happy Birthday Ri-Ri!! I hope you are able to enjoy turning 21 today. PLEASE don’t take Chris back. Break the cycle of violence. Be brave.

Thank you for posting this.
Screw Chris Brown’s apology!
As someone who has been physically abused, as well as someone who has seen the ramificatons of abuse towards a loved one, there is absolutely NO EXCUSE FOR IT!
We are human beings who have choices, and Chris Brown chose to resort to physical violence rather than walk away. That is not acceptable.
He should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law for what he has done and I hope that Rihanna is healthy enough to realize that she should not get back with him, or be with anyone who is abusive.

[...] and looking like he didn’t have a care in the world, and his pathetic attempt at an ”apology” definitely left a lot to be desired, perhaps whatever anger management courses he is [...]
